Title: Curses
Post by: Jack the Quick on July 22, 2019, 09:31:46 PM
What are we supposed to use for curses? Not insults, curses. If your character is gonna curse something while staying clean, or gets frustrated, what will they say? What do you guys think?

##:1044 was for the F one and ##:1168 was for the H one

I actually advise against cursing I keep it to a minimum in my campaigns but those are with other soldiers so they will curse by habit
I actually would prefer to not have any actual profanity in this game but hey that is just me.

now something like "get the Grease pig"  or " you fleabrained son of a kelp smeller" that is more preferable

The generally accepted ones are Hellgates and Hell's Teeth. Though given how overzealous the censorship got in recent years, I wouldn't be surprised if those got censored too.

I like those ones, Jet. Kolman, I meant made-up curses, not real-life curses that people use.

Eh, just for best practices, we're trying to get in a good habit of not setting off the censors.

Hellsgates and Hellsteeth are good ones. Others might be hellfire, bile, frogsteeth, by the demon (or something else), wishing ill will upon another beast, or various made-up words that could be assumed to mean any number of things.

Thanks, Skarzs! Yes, I see what you mean about the censors. Those words sound good, I think I'll use dome of them.
