Dranfor Rofnard was making his way with his horde through the forest towards the place called Redwall. Stopping near a river Dranfor lifted a paw.
everybeast stopped. "Bring the slaves!" He called to Garrtail. "They shall build my fortress right here. Begin the construction!"
While this was going on a green garbed mouse was watching behind some bushes with a double-bladed sword at the ready.
OOC: You should sign up your character Alf
BIC: "Bartel! Take a few o' this scrummy lot and h'explore the region. Yew, go an' get some vittles" Dranfor Rofnard barked. "How's it going Garrtail?"
"Never better, my lord. But we need stones to build yore fortress."
Maximus, hidden by bushes, then aimed an arrow at the leader of the gang and shot. But to his surprise he missed!!
Dranfor saw the arrow zip by and bury itself in a nearby rat. "fire at these bushes, NOW!" The soldiers grabed there bows and fired into the bushes. "Stop! Go an' see what it was."
Then Max ran as fast as he could with arrows wizzing by. Then one hit his arm and he thought, "were can I go!?" Redwall Abbey was nearby so he went there but he did not like it.
The soldier came back to report. "My lord Dranfor Rofnard, I saw a mouse running away, but 'e his wounded at the arm."
OOC: Just for you to know, the h in his wounded is purposeful
Max banged on the Abbey doors yelling, "let me in im wounded!! Ill die!!"
OOC: We need redwallgurl to act.

Kreastle was walking through the orchard at the time and boundeed up the battlements to see who the newcomer was. She saw the outcast and told him,"YOu are still outcasted! Though I won't let you here to die. We will ehlp you but you must leave once the dangers past and no funn y stuff! Agreed?"
OOC: Okay, let's say that it's been a while since Dranfor Rofnard has arrived and the fortress his finished.
BIC: "I shall call it the Fortress of Blood!" Dranfor said proudly.
The fortress had earned its name from the red sandstone sit was built from, the very same sandstone than the one used for the building of Redwall Abbey.
"Post some sentries at the top. And fill the larder full of vittles. And make weapons and armors, for we shall have a great battle soon!"
OOC: as soon as there is more people. :(
"Agreed lady of the sword just don't let me die!"
she swiftly unlocked the gates and took the weapon off the beast. She pointed a paw to the Abbey saying,"YOu know where the infirmy is once you are treated I'll give your weapopn back and you can go via the back gate out of here. What shot you anyway?"
"Thank you beautiful warrioress of Redwall" said Max looking at Kreastle's face. There is danger in Mossflower. "Vermin are building a fortress to attack!"
Garrtail saw it all. He was hidden behind some bushes when Maximus arrived at the Abbey. After Maximus had entered, Garrtail rushed towards the fortress. "My lord, the wounded warrior has entered the Abbey!" He panted.
"Good!" Rofnard exclaimed. "Now they know where we are!"
As Maximus lay in the infirmery he was having awful nightmares about Martin fighting Vermin in the Abbey and he was killing them all when all of a sudden a weasel stuck a sword through him and then Max whoke up screaming.
Danjosal jumped up from his bed and ran to the bed where Max was sleeping he said in a quite tone so that the Abbot could not hear ''What is the matter mate''
"NO!!! Martin!!" screamed Max as he rolled out of bed kicking and fighting an imaginary thing,"You monster!! You killed Martin!!"
Deathtail walked up the dusty path. Deathtail was a silent cat, he hardly never spoke.
Then Max woke up. Seeing the squirll he jumped up and graves him saying "is the tapestry safe!? Is Kreastle safe!? Is the sword of Martin safe!?" sweating and afraid.
Deathtail walked up to the Blood fort and knocked on the door.
In a low voice Deathtail said "open 'he 'ates".
Back at Redwall Max was feeling a little better. He got up on the ramparts and looked at Blood Fort and said, "There it is... Blood Fort... I will free Redwall Abbey from that evil fox wether i am still banished or not I can't let my true home fall."
As Deathtail walked in, every beast did not speek a word.
"Were is your 'eader?"
Maximus then saw the wildcat and was very angry. He hated and did not trust many things, foxes, cat, all vermin, and otters. He was also curious, "What is a wildcat doing in Mossflower? They haven't been here in years?"
Danjosal ran toward Max and said aloud ''are you alright mate now''.
"I'm the leader!" Rofnard barked at the wildcat with the strange accent.
"Thats him...." said Max.
OOC: What are you talking about Alf? the fortress is deep in the woods and the wildcat and Rofnard are inside.
"I have come to 'elp you fight" said Deathtail.
OOC: okay guys! I think it's going too fast, we're not gonna fight right now! We need more people before! Okay?
BIC: "Good! What is your name?"
OOC: I know I was just saying that I was on your side.
"My 'ame is Deathtail the 'ild cat."
OOC: I was talking about the others
BIC: "Deathtail! That's a good name. You come from the North?" He asked inquisitively.
"No from 'he Great south stream",said Deathtail.
"You have a strange accent for a Southstreamer."
"I was not 'orn there. But in the North, we moved down when there was no more food. " said Deathtail.
Kreastle saw the outlaw come to the battlements. She watched form a distance. Seeking out the healer she asked," How long will it be until Max is completely healed?"
Turning around Maximus saw Kreastle and walked up to her, "Greetings Warrioress of Redwall thank you very much for letting me in." bowing low.
Back at fort blood, "I would like 'ood and some 'leep." said Deathtail.
Kreastle was taken aback by the politeness but didn't show it. Nodding curtly to the outcast she said in an equally respectful tone,"Hello Max. What have you been doing with your life recently? Hopefully you've changed your ways?"
"You are quite polite for a young warrioress like your self." said Max with a smile.
"Thank you, you have to be able to do many things for an Abbey. YOu avioded my question are you going to answer me?" Kreastle said with her voice still even but getiing colder.
At fort blood, Deathtail had eaten and now was asleep in a small bed in the corner.
''Why did you outcast Max''said Danjosal sadly
"Why merely trying to survive Kreatle. I've been here and there although the most of it I was in the North fighting otters and sea rats. I've also been a mercenary ranger to the badger lords at Salamadastron." said Maximus looking at the east.
OOC: if I am to answer I'll need MAx's permission I'll always change my answer just tell me and I'll edit my post. O and is the Abbess freeplay?

"Well he was outcasted because he tried to kill the Abbess. I won't go into details though. He won't be allowed any weapons when he is here though. I'll need to ask the Abbess if she would like him to stay though I don't see the reason why not anymore once you have explained it." Kreastle replies curtly off to find the Abbess.
As the day went by Deathtail learned what Redwall Abbey was.
"That abbess is a sly one she is.... I've always thought that she organized my parents assassination..." murmured Maximus.
Kreastle hear dthe comment but not saying anything made sure to keep a close eye on the outcast and the Abbess. Trouble was sure to come soon.
OOC: the abbess is free play
BIC: "You shall be one of my captains, Deathtail." Rofnard said. "You shall have full control of the Abbey after we have conquered it."
Maximus was angry that night in the infirmary he had nightmares about the night his parents were killed by otter thugs. He woke yelling so loud Deathtail fell out of bed.
OOC: What are you talking about? Rofnard and Deathtail are in the Fortress of Blood.
OOC: I know
"I will not fail 'ou my 'ord." said Deathtail.
OOC: If you can't read what I write ask me to make it clearer.

"What is 'our plan?" asked Deathtail.
"You shall lead a third of my forces at the main gate; while Garrtail and another third of my forces shall be firing from the west side."
Maximus was walking around Redwall looking for Kreastle, "Kreastle! Kreastle!"
Danjosal walked in the orchard munching on a pear he started to climb an oak tree.
Danjosal have you seen Kreatle?" asked Maximus
The Warrior went off to find the Abbess. She was in the kitchens helping the Frair. Boldly Kreastle cam to the Abbess. "Do you have a moment, MOther?"
Abbess Wearlm looked at the Warrior with concern in her eyes. "Whatever is the mater child?"
The Warrior led the Abbess to a quiet spot in Cavern Hole.Looking into her eyes she siad calmly,"Max has returned to Redwall."
Wearlm gasped a gasp of shock. The warrior finished speaking,
"I let him in since he was wounded and took his weapon. From what he told me he has changed and helped many beasts. I htink he should stay but the ultimate answer comes form you marm."
The Abbess pondered for a while taking in the sitaution. "I think he should stay given the circumstances, but one paw out of line and hes out of here. I leave him in your care now."
The warrior bowed low saying,"Mother Abbess your word is again a perfect answer."
She went off to find Max to tell him the news.
Hearing a loud thud, Amabel, the Infirmary Keeper, comes rushing in. "Mr. Maximus! Where did he go?"
Worried, she grabbed her pouch of herbs from a nearby table, and rushed out the door. She slipped quietly down the stairs, through Great Hall and out the door.
"Mr. Maximus! You are not well. Come back inside," she says insistingly.
Oh I'm fine Amabel I don't need to go back to the infirmary sister I'm fine!" said Maximus bolting from the abbey sister as fast as he could.
Watching the out cast Kreastle raced up to him. "Max stop!" she called urgently
Danjosal stopped Max by holding him firmly by his arm
Let me go squirrel! I'm not going back to that infirmary!" yelled Maximus trying to get away.
"Thanks mate!" Kreastle tells the brother. Looking at Max she says,"The kind Abbess says that you may stay but any wrong moves and your out. Understand?"
''Come on mate do you want to be outcast again'' Said Danjosal.
May I have my sword back sweet warrioress?" said Maximus staring at her face.
''Be serious Mate''
"No you may not Max, no weapons are allowed in Redwall save for me and trusted besats. Maybe after a while though," Kreastle says staring back at Max.
Shaking his head really fast, "wait what?"
"No fooling, you heard waht I said and my word stays," Kreastle walked away callling back to Max,"LIsten to the helper from the infirmary or you will have me to deal with."
Ok..." said Max pretending to be very sad.
Kreastle kept walking while shaking her head. She didn't knoe weather he should be trusted or not.
Max was trying to think of ways to get his sword back while he was in the infirmary.
Danjosal sighed he could would not let Max get his sword.
Cmon Danjosal please!!!!" pleaded Max as he was trying to get his sword back.
Back at Fort Blood, Deathtail was training new troops of oh to become proper solders.
"Line up 'roops or you will deal 'ith me." said Deathtail in his low deep voice.
Back at the Abbey, Max was in the abbey storehouse searching for his sword. "Its gotta be somewhere!" he said knocking over a bunch of crates. "Oops! That's not good..."
Dranfor was looking down at Deathtail. "Look Garrtail, see 'ow he's training 'is troops; while you're lazying around like a big fat oaf! I want yew down there and train your troop! Or else..."
Garrtail was already hurrying down rousing his troops at the same time. "C'mon yew lazy guts! We've got training t'do!"
Max was freaked out and hid in a barrel because he heard voices,"did you hear that in the cellar? It sounded like somebody knocked some crates over."
The voices came from Timbalisto, a young warrior mouse, and the cellarkeeper.
They stopped in front of the fallen crates. "Looks like someone knocked these crates over!"
Then Max tried to bolt for the door and get away from the mouse.
But Timbalisto was quicker than Max; he grabed him by his habit and knocked him out.
Max was on the ground kicking wildly yelling, "help! Murder!"
"Stoppit you blubbering bafoon! What are you doing here?" Timbalisto said annoyed.
Maximus jumped up and grabbed him then said, "where is my sword?! Tell me now!"
"What are you talking about? Who are you?" Timbalisto grabed Maximus.
You mean you havent heard of me? Im the outcast returned to my home to protect it from the fox Dranfor." said Max up in Tim's face.
"Ho you!" Timbalisto said in disdain. "But you didn't answer my question: What are you doing here?"
Max wouldn't say a word.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!!" Timbalisto yelled at Max.
YOU WANNA DIE?!"
"WHAT! YOU INSOLENT LITTLE RIP!" Timbalisto knocked Max out cold with a single blow in his face.
Max dreamed the worst dream ever in his life. Redwall Abbey was destroyed and on fire with vermin killing woodlanders at will. Then he saw his parents and Kreastle running away as a fox and a wild cat jumped in front of them. His parents looked at him and said," run!" Max tried to go and help them but he couldnt move. He looked up as the wildcat killed his parents and e fox killed Kreastle. Max yelled, "No more! No more!" as the fox came to him raising a sword and bringing it down on Max then he woke up screaming.
Timbalisto andthe cellarkeeper had brought Max to the infirmary; they had posted a guard while they went to get Kreastle and the abbess. "Kreastle! We need you at the infirmary, quickly! The abbess is waiting for us!"
What am I doing here?! I thought I was to leave the infirmary!" yelled Max trying to run away.
The guard knocked him out cold again.
OOC: hahaha!
He had the same dream and woke up screaming.

OOC: Okay. Let's wait for redwallgurl to show up before we do anything else, okay? And Abbot, don't you have a bad guy?

BIC: at the gates of Blood Fort a monstrus wearet banged on the doors.
Rofnard was watching the wearet walk to the door. "Let him in!" he saidto a nearby rat. "Yes my Lord!"
The monster came in and looked at the vermin soldiers and they ran when he looked at them and said, " WHERE IS YOUR LEADER!? WHERE IS THE FOX?!"
"Garrtail go and bring him to me!"
WHERE IS HE?!" said Grimmer waveing the huge axe in the air.
"Follow me!" Garrtail told Grimmer.
LEAD THE WAY WEASEL!!" said Grimmer.
Dranfor was waiting in his throne. "I am Lord Dranfor Rofnard leader of this mighty horde! What d'you want?" He said imperialy and disdainfully.
I CAN BE OF SERVICE YOU VIXEN. LET ME JOIN YOUR HORDE AND I'LL BE YOUR BODYGAURD. IM VERY GOOD AT THAT BUT ONLY FOR THE RIGHT PRICE!" said Grimmer gruffly.
Kreastle was upset how Max had threatened the cellar mouse and was waiting in the infirmary till he woke up. She was ready to tell him off.
Don't send me away I just wanted my sword back! Please!" begged Maximus
Danjosal said in a sternvoice ''No not yet''
But without my sword I'm nobody! It's the only thing that I have that reminds me of my parents! Please its my fathers!" begged Max as he tried to negotiate with Danjosal.
Danjosal sighed ''that is up to the abbess ''
With her paws crossed over her chest she stared at max coldly. "I told you the consequences if you broke my rule. No damage was done and I need you to apologize right now. THe sword is in a safe place and you will get it when I allow you." she walked out as her habit swished. Her work was definetly cut out for her.
Danjosal sighed ''Come on cough it up mate''
Curse you abbess you are responsible for my parents death!" yelled Maximus in his rage.
''Uh no don't please you will just get in more trouble''said Danjosal sadly
I dont care!if that abbess was never born my parents would still be alive and I'd not be an exile!" yelled Max as he got up. He then wanted to go to the garden and be alone.
''Go up to the dormitory you might feel better ''
Fine." said Max going to the dorms in total rage.
''Sorry Abbess 'said Danjosal going out to the orchard.
OOC: Maximus isn't really in the dorms he snuck out and is looking for his sword in Warriors cottage. He snuck in.

Danjosal decided to have a stern word with Max. When he entered the Dorm's he was not there.Danjosal slaped his head and ran toward the Warrior's Cottage.
Keastle decided to talk to he Abbess. She walked over to her needing some answers. The Abbess had always been kind and loving to everybeast she couldn't understand how she could be the reason of a death. Asking with an even but serious tone she said,"Did you kill Max's parents?"
She looked surprised and kreastle couldn't tell if it was form the question or her. She answered looking distracted,"no."
Thanking the Abbess she walked to the battlements to think.
Danjosal saw Max in there he cried ''Max what are you doing''
Max was in the attic looking through old chests, " that's not it, thats not it, that's not it, oh! Martins shield! But nah, that's not it, that's not it, why does she have a wierd hankie? Who keeps an old hankie with cornflowers on it? Oh well, that's not it...."
Danjosal did not see him in he slowly crept up the attic stairs.
Max didn't hear him coming an turned around to leave when he bumped into Danjosal, "ow, don't you know it's rude to spy on people?!"
''What are you doing up here'' Danjosal growled.
Well no need to get anrgy mate I was just looking around learning about my surroundings like us rangers do." said Max calmly.
''I thought I sent you to the Dorm''

Hearing the sounds drifting from the attics kreastle jumped up and went to see what was happening. She pounded up the stairs stopping at the door to see what the situation was.
O! Uh Kreastle uh.... IT WAS DANJOSAL'S IDEA!!!!!" said Maximus scared that she found them in her house.
"What are you doing?!?" kreastle said arms akimbo.
OOC: Redwallgurl, Timbalisto isn't a cellar mouse; I put him in the sign-up topic. If you want more than one character go on, it can be a bad or good guy.
BIC: "I WONT TOLERATE SUCH INSOLANCE! ONE FALSE WORD OR MOVE AND YOUR DEAD! UNDERSTAND!" Rofnard yelled.
For once in his life Maximus did not run for the door but said, "I can't lie to you Kreastle I was looking through your attic for my sword...."
Back at fort blood, Grimmer said, " yes of course my master....."
''I knew it'' said Danjosal.
I can't help it! It was my fathers sword that he used to protect our tribes caves before we came to Redwall and became a novice." said Max.
''Well why didn't you apologize to the abbess''
For killing my parents!?" exliamed max.

Danjosal ran up the stairs and on the Battlements
"Look!" Timbalisto pointed to a huge line of vermin entering through the gates of the outer wall of Fortress of Blood. "What are we going to do about this?"
''Stand in your places don't shoot until Timballisto say's'' he cried to the guards.
OOC: She hated us since day one when we came here. We came from a tribe of mice up north called... Uh? Let's see... O yes the tribe was called Luke and when it was over whelmed by pirates we ran south. We came across many places on our journey but the best was Redwall. The creatures let us stay but the abbess was very rude to my mother and ignored my father. He was called Marchellius the Warrior. But was killed by that witch you call an abbess!
BIC: Max ran to the battlements with his friends and said, "how can I help?"
Kreastle hurried to the battlements wondering what the problem was. She would deal with Maximus later.
"Kreastle! Look!"
''Here use my extra sling and do not use it ON US '' he said.
Very funny!" said Maximus loading his sling.
Grabbin a sling she made a nod to her comrad and started firing. She didnt care if they came for friendly negations all vermin were bas.
''READY FIRE''

She fires her sling with deadly accuarcy and kept firing.

Grimmer was leading some stoats along the east wall and said,"THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH!!!" then they started putting up ladders.
Maximus saw the laders and said, Kreastle come with me!"
Danjosal went with them seeing the ladders
Maximus got to the laders just in time for the first stoat to get up to the top. Maximus punched him in the head and knocked him off.
Hurrying to catch up with max kreastle blindly trustes him. She knocked over as many ladders as she could.
Gee Kreastle I wish I had my sword right now!" pushing over a ladder.

"hahaha very funny! Ill get it for you for this battle just stay here and defend the abbey."running to her cottage kreastle flung open the door and grabbed two swords. Rushing up the battlements she went to max and gave him his sword.
" My 'roops are ready for battle" said Deathtail as he saw the vermin walk in.
OOC: Abbot, we never attacked, I made a mistake!
BIC: "We will wait until the searat Lord arrives!" Rofnard said.
OOC: Anybody wants to be the Searat Lord?

BIC: the searat lord, Badrang III, banged on the gates of Blood fort, "Open up you fox I'm here!"
"At last!" Rofnard sighed. "Let him in!"
OOC: Could you sign him up please.
"Yes me 'ord" said Deathtail
Nice place fox, better than my fort. My men and I are ready for battle givethe command and we will fight!" said Badrang III
"Off to 'ATTLE than" Said Deathtail.
"Now, now! Before rushing away lets make a plan!"
No we must wait for your lord's command." said Badrang. Then Grimmer came in, WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
Garrtail entered. "What's the plan?"
"Well, does anybody got ideas?"
We could swarm them like ants, attack from all four walls." said Badrang.
"I don't like plans , only 'ood animals make plans." said Deathtail.
"Bad ideas! We need to create a diversion!"
OOC: could you make your posts more meaningful please! We're already at the thirteenth page!
You need plans to win you stupid kitten!" said Badrang , "and when we make one what happens?"
OOC: I changed the name of the fortress to: Fort Blood
So what now?" said Badrang.
"They will surely be firing at us, so we need a catapult!"
Back at Redwall Maximus was not looking for his sword much but was very quite. He ususally sat in a tree by the warrior's cottage waiting for Kreastle to come out. He still was very angry when he saw the abbess walking around. One day he was sitting in his tree like always waiting for Kreastle to come out.
Timbalisto was watching Max when he saw the abbess. "Mother abbess! Run!" He said hurrying towards the abbess. The abbess ran towards Timbalisto.
Max turned around to see what the noise was and fell out of the tree. He got up and ran to Tim.
Danjosal sighed he threw a rock down then loaded his sling again.
Maximus said while he ran, "I wish I had my sword!"
There was a big rock flaming that fell right where the abbess was standing.
From outside the abbey Grimmer just put a new rock in the catapult as Badrang lit it on fire, "FIRE!" then it was flying turlough the air.
Danjosal ducked a arrow and fired a slingston as hard as he could but missed ''we need a catapult''
I need a sword you can't always get what you want Danjosal," said Max dodging a ston.
''Stop thinking of your blasted sword that is all you talk about''
Not true! I talk about my parents, how i hate the abbess, Kreastle." said Maximus flinging a stone.
''What if the otter was lying how could the Abbess kill somebeast.
I don't know about that because she always hated my parents and me" said Maximus hitting a rat on the head with a rock.
Timbalisto jumped on Max and Danjosal. "Look out!" he screamed, a huge rock landing where they were just a second ago. "That was close." Timbalisto gasped.
"Deathtail! Go and attack the west side!" Rofnard barked.
OOC: There is no redwaller that knows that Deathtail is going to attack.
Kreastle came out of her cottage once she heard the shouts. Calling out to all beasts she yealled,"Everybeast take cover and get in the Abbey. All willing beasts that want to fight rally to me and take cover at my cottage. Maximus we need to have a talk."
The warrioress gave out slings and told the beasts to go out to the battlements and keep their heads down firing when they were able.
Fine I'm on my way" said Maximus shooting a stone and ran for the cottage.
"Aim at the cottage!" Rofnard barked. "FIRE!"
Arrows went flying towards the cottage.
Danjosal flew on Max and knocked him down as Arrows zoomed by.
"Take cover!" Timbalisto yelled. "Kreastle! Get out quick!"
Max broke free of his grasp and ran for the cottage and said, "I'll be fine!"
''Ok but be careful mate''
I will!" said Max as he ran for the cottage.
A huge rock fell right on top of the cottage; crushing it to rubble. "Kreastle!" Timbalisto cried out.
Then Maximus was in a rage like was when he sees the abbess, "No! Kreastle! No!" as he ran to the cottage and was digging throughout rubble.
Danjosal ran to help him dig
Kreastle had fallen once her cottage broke. She was able to get most beasts away from it and was going to move but she was too late. A stone had hit her in the head knockinng her out.
Danjosal started clearing the wood fast ''Maybe she is still alive''
OOC: there's no vermin inside the Abbey, Dannflor. :-\
BIC: Timbalisto started removing rubble; when he grabed something soft. "Kreastle." He began to pull.
Maximus was so happy the found her and started to help them saying to himself, "please let her live, please let her live..."
Danjosal put his hand to her mouth and yelld happily she is breathin.
Kreastle was oblivious to everything around her. She was grasped in darkness seeing images of warriors form long ago....
"Quick! Bring her to the infirmary!"
Meanwhile at Fort Blood: Dranfor Rofnard was thinking about making more captains for his army.

Out side the abbey Grimmer and Badrang went up to Ronfard and asked, sir the catapult is in a great position to continue the barrage. My we move in the troops?"
"Make more catapults and destroy the walls! When it is done we shall move our forces!"
Kreastle saw the warriors fade away leaving only Martin. He spoke in calmness and peace telling her," The Abbey needs your protection. Do you want it to fall?"
''Kreasle wake up mate''
Maximus was pulling as hard as he could to get Kreastle out. "Don't leave us Kreastle we need you!"
They freed her of the rubble and hurried to the infirmary
Kreastles eyes fluttered open as she botled up awake and ready. Jumping off the stretcher she tried to run ot battle but her legs were failing her. SH eknew the Abbey wouldn't have much time so she told Maximus,"Go and find your sword in the rubble of my cottage! We need all able beasts defending Redwall!"
She collapsed back in a heap.
Quick get a healer now!" yelled Max at Tim, " we can't let her die!" then Max ran for the cottage rubble to find his sword.
They arrived at the infirmary. "Quick! lie her down on this bed!"
Danjosal handed Max his sword now don't go killing your own team

Flerseus was walking down a road that led to a fortress, it looked very sturdily built.
Will she be ok?!" asked Max as he was nervously standing next to Kreastle's bed in the infirmary as the battle was going on.
The infirmary helpers were all about helping wounded beasts. As one small mousemaid tie some more bandages around Kreastles head she looked up smiling and telling the warrior,"She will be fine just a bit scratched, the only serious thing was her head wound.
Kreastle had sat up and was trying to get out of bed as the mouse maid fussed over her saying," No, no ,no, miss. You shouldn't tire yourself your should rest and heal."
Kreastle looked urgently at Max wanting to get out to help her beloved Abbey.
Are you ok Kreastle?" said Maximus anxiously
Kreastle tried t onod her head but that hurt her head to much. Instead she jsut answered," I'll be fine, but i MUST get back to the battle. We need to mount wallgaurds and make sure we have everything ready and enough food for a siege, and we need to keep unable beasts indoors."
I'm on it!" said Max as he headed for the door then turned around and said, "oh and Kreastle.. Thanks for giving me my sword back it means a lot to me." then he left.
Danjosal was standing near the door when Max walked out ''Is she Ok''
She is fine but she needs us to make sure we have enough food for a siege." said Max pulling out his sword and headed for the walls.
After getting close enough she realized a battle had broken out. Flerseus could easily slipp in places without being noticed, and did likewise.
''Sure I will come to''
Good I need all the help I can get."
''You look happy about the sword I gave back mate''
Yes I do. It's like part of who I am." said Max running through cavern hole.
'' Aren't we going to the kitchens''
This is a shortcut to the kitchens," said Maximus as he ran into the kitchens. " Ok everybody we need an inventory of all our food stocks." Then the friar said to Max rudely, " why should we take orders from an outcast! We only take orders from ms. Kreastle and the abbess! Who left you in charge?!"
Danjosal said loudly ''Because I said so any objection's''. Nobody wanted to cross the Big Squirrel's path so they allowed them in.
Ok so Danjosal how long can we 'old out?" asked Maximus in a leader like way.

Hm... Well do we hav any real weapons besides Martin's sword, my sword, and your sword?" asked Maximus.

Flerseus slipped around, entered through great oak doors. She came to a hall with a tapestry of a mouse, obviously a warrior. She stared in awe. After looking around shenstumbled upon the infirmary's. She geard the discussion between two of them and entered the room quietly.
"You can use my knives, or my sword. I have a poison sack that burns others when poured over."
Ok whoa!! who are you?" said Max pulling out his sword and pointing it at the assassin.
In the Infirmary, Amabel was bandaging the various wounds of the abbey creatures. Mice, squirrels and moles scurried to and fro at her bidding whilst she tried to cover her surprise and horror. How had this suddenly happened without warning? Why was bloodshed and war allowed in life?
"Florence!" she summoned a pretty squirrelmaid to her side. "I need more bandages and fresh water. Linden, would you please fetch more herbs? Now, Jasper, lay still while I bandage your paw. You've gotten a nasty arrow wound."
Just then Maximus walked in. "What now, Mister?" asked a mousemaid named Silvia.
"Krestle? Is she alright?"
"Ask Amabel. She'll know," Silvia was beginning to sound annoyed. Why on earth did the Abbess allow an outlaw in Redwall?
Maximus walked over to where Amabel was cutting an arrow out of Jasper's paw. "Where's Krestle? Will she be alright?"
"Krestle? Of course. She always recovers fast. I wouldn't be surprised if she was ready to go back out. Of course, she'll have a nasty headache and be a bit scraped up, but none the worse in the end." Amabel stood up. "Jasper, be very careful walking, your paw will be a bit tender for a few days. If you don't want to lay down and rest go ask Danjosal what you can do to help." She went to where Krestle was sitting in a chair, sipping tea. "Do you feel better, Krestle?"
"I feel better than ever! What do you put in your tea?"
"Oh, just some camomil and other soothing things. I think you are needed." Ignoring Maximus, Amabel continued in here rounds, and Krestle hurried down the stairs.
OOC: What is the Abbess's name, or does she have one?
So she is gonna 'e fine Amebel?" asked Maximus still eying the assassin still.
"Come on 'roops, lets make them wish they had never messed with Deathtail."
Oh forget it Amebel," said Maximus turning around, "now where is that assassin?" as he walked back into the room.
''Where''
Oh never mind the assassin let's get all the willing able troops out in the courtyard." said Maximus as he left the room for the courtyard.

In Great Hall Abbess Talia was trying to regain control and peace. "Everyone! Please, listen," at the sound of her musical voice all dropped their conversations to listen. "I know you are surprised, as am I, but we must try to work together. Sister Amabel and her helpers are bandaging wounds and preparing to go out into the grounds to help there, and Friar Leland and his helpers have begun preparing food to feed everybeast. "Well, Crista, Myrtle, Lea and Sula, I need you to find out how we are doing on food, then report back to me. Gordo, Rosemarie, you're both strong and able please find Danjosal and see what you can do..."
Maximus was in the abbey courtyard talking to the troops,"Ok men I want to thank you for joining us. I am Maximus the Ranger of Mossflower, I am your commander while the warroiress Kreastle is recovering. If I see any sign of betrayal, mutiny, or desertion I will cut down any who are thinking of doing these acts of treason. If I say attack, you attack, if I say fall back, you will fall back. Am I understood?" A large,"Yes sir!" went out in the courtyard as the men lined up to get there weapons. Maximus was handing out weapons to the men saying, "each man gets a sling and a staff, the stones you will need to find yourself." One mouse came up to him and said, "Is this all we got matey? No real weapons? How are we gonna win with these?" Maximus looked him in the eye and said, "I can defeat any creature in this abbey and if you talk to an officer like that again I will not hesitate to kill you."
Kreastle had tried to slip out of the infirmary unnoticed. She grabbed Martin's sword form the corner and headed out to the orchard. She was glad how Maximus was taking care of things. Lining up with the troops she saluted with the rest, she did not want to be sent up ot the infirmary again.
"Kreastle what are you doing? your supposed to be in the infirmary!" said Max running over to her.
"Seriously Maximus I'm fine, I don't need to be treated like a dibbun. The Abbey is more important than some wound." Kreastle said definetly.
Ok but you need to be careful." said Maximus taking her hand, "I won't tellSister Amebel you left." he said smiling.
"Thanks mate," Kreastle said in fine military fashionm"Is the wall gaurd mounted yet?"
Yes it is ma'am. We can only hold out for a few weeks though." said Maximus.
Meanwhile, Timbalisto was training mice to become archers. "Lift your bow a bit, Bunfold!" He said. "You! You should take another arrow, this one isn't good!"
Tim! Status Report!" said Maximus as he was inspecting the archers.
Kreastle nodded thinking spotting a mice walking towards the Abbey she called out,"HO there young 'un! Tell the Frair to start rationing the food!"
Kreastle looked at all the defense of Redwall she walked through the ranks helping them.
Then a mousemaid from the infirmary came outside and said, " Miss Kreastle what are you doing? Your supposed to be in the infirmary! Come over here right now!"
HIding behind Maximus she tried to slip away from the infirmary maid.
Don't worry I'll deal with her," said Maximus as he went over and spoke with the mousemiad. "Fine she can stay but your a mangled up mess outlaw! Why would the abbess let someone like you in? I'll never know!" she said storming of in anger. Max turned around and sighed.
"Thanks you saved me there! I'll have to have a word about that mousemaids attitude though!" Kreastle said looking apologetically at Maximus.
Na let her be..... I'm gonna be fine..." said Maximus sighing again. He then sat down under a tree and had a sad look on his face.
Patting his shoulder smythetically Kreastel went backing helping and instructing. After a period of time she went to hte battlements to think of all what happened and looked for any signs of vermin attacks. They needed to get rid of that fort.
I've already packed up our things Kreastle. We will go when your ready." said Maximus coming up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder.
Flerseus introduces herself to the opposite animal.
" I am Flerseus The Assassin. I am hired. I barely get paid and at small price. Need some help fer ye?"
Whoa do you mind?! Don't just go sneaking up on people!" said Maximus turning around. "So you said your an assassin?"
Danjosal said loudly ''What kind of help''
Well can you help us get into that fort?" asked Maximus.
''Yeah''

Timbalisto was up on the battlements trying to think up a good plan.

"No, I'm thinking about it though!"

"Are the catapults ready?" Rofnard asked Garrtail, Deathtail and Grimmer.
"Almost Milord!" Garrtail answered.
"ur uh what are we gonna do with it sir?" said Grimmer scratching his dumb head.
"Well!" Rofnard said in mock kindness. "We shall catch fish with it!"
Uhhhhhh why chief?"
"So we can make the Redwall scums eat it!" Rofnard said, smiling at the stupidity of Grimmer. "Put him in one of the catapults." he whispered in the corner of his mouth to Garrtail.
Badrang asked Ronfard, " sow what's the plan?"
"We destroy the front wall and attack!" Rofnard said. Garrtail and some rats grabed Grimmer and put him in the catapult. "Fire!" Rofnard yelled. Grimmer went flying into the Abbey grounds. "What was that?" Timbalisto said.
Grimmer was caught by suprise and got up rubbing his head saying, "What just happened?" he then saw he was in Redwall Abbey so since he is so big he lived easily. He picked up his axe and ran for the gates.
Kreastle rushed to the vermin slaying it instantly not wanting to ask questions. Calling out to the troops the warrioress yelled, "Everybeast to the battlements!"
Maximus then pulled out his sword and yelled, "To arms Redwallers!,, to arms!!!!"
''Right what should I do mate''
Get all the archers on the walls and the rest of the men brace the gate!" said Maximus, " where's Kreastle?"
"Fire!" Rofnard yelled. Three big rocks went pounding on the walls, one of them landing on the battlements crushing everybeast that were there.
Get down!" yelled Maximus as he jumped on the ground,"find cover!"
Timbalisto was there when the rock fell. He fell from the battlements, a leg completely crushed.
Tim!!!" yelled Max running over to him, "Medic!!"
"I'm... leaving... Max!" Timbalisto said painfully. "My time... is finished... here! Take good... care of... Kreastle!"
No Tim!" said Max picking up his body, "if I can get you to the infirmary you'll be ok! Hold still!" as he carried him to the infirmary.
"It's too late, Max!" Timbalisto fell unconscious.
Tim don't say things like that!"
Kreastle looked urgently between Tim and the battlements torn of what to do. Commanding Max she said,"Bring him to the infirmary immediaty Max! I got the battlements!"
IN fine military style the warriroress wiped out her sling saying,"First rank fire, reload, second rank fire, reload, first rank.."
Max took Tim to the infirmary and went back to the fighting with Kreastle and picked up a sling, "Next wave.. FIRE!" But just then an arrow hit Maximus in the arm and he fell over.
Kreastle reached down an pickd Maximus up. She needed to take him to hte infirmary immediatly. They were very busy today! Leaving an able otter in command she tyred to carry Maximus to the infirmary. Trying to not show concern she said,"Come on Maximus just a little father."
No I'm fine!" said Maximus as he ran back up to the battlements he got hit in the arm again. He yelled and started flinging stones at the vermin.
Forcefully moving the warrior she led him to the infirmary. Using a commanding tone she said,"Listen to me! If you don't come I'll......OUTCAST you again!"
Fine outcast me if you will!! I must fight for my home!!!" said Maximus trying to get away from the nurses trying to get outside. Then they all grabed him and through him in bed scolding him saying, "Never do that again or i won't heal you outcast!" or things like, "idiotic outlaw!" Then Maximus the Ranger of Redwall son of Marchellius the Warrior of the Northlands looked Kreastle in the eyes and said, "Kreastle... Ever since the day I returned to Redwall I never thought I would be hated this much. Also ever since the day I returned I have loved you beautiful Warrioress of Redwall. Before I die I only wish I could die with the sword of Martin the Warrior. For my father was the cousin of Martin the Warrior and I am of his blood. The sword was rightfully my fathers after Martin died but you have received it from the last warrior. But I ask you to let me die with that sword.
Rocks were pounding regularely on the walls. One of the rocks crushed the doors to pieces. "Stop!" Rofnard said. "Garrtail, Deathtail, attack!"
CHARGE!!!!!!" yelled the vermin as they poured into the abbey.
Maximus the son of Marchellius the Warroir said as he held Martin's sword in his hands, " I love you Kreastle.... Please defened the abbey and slay that vixen Rofnard. I remember now he killed my parents... Goodbye Kreastle....." Then Maximus the Ranger of Redwall...
Died....
The infirmary was quite busy. Before too long, they were running out of beds, herbs, helpers and time. Amabel was at her wits end trying to keep order. Two beasts, a mole and an otter, had already been taken to Great Hall, wrapped in sheets, prepared for burial. Those who could walk were sent to Cavern Hole, while any who could be moved were taken to the dormitories to rest. All the bones in Timballisto's leg were broken, and it would be a long recovery before he could walk, if he ever did.

BIC: Dranfor Rofnard took the rest of his troops and entered by the west gate, wich had been opened by Garrtail. "Fire!" They fired at the slingers on the battlements. "We got them!" Rofnard said. "Enter the abbey!"
Take the main hall!!!" said Badrang III
Garrtail and his fighters made their way up to the infirmary. They entered and began killing the wounded and nurses.
Rofnard was encouraging his troops to hold the door. "Don't let them in! We're winning!"
Badrang broke into the cellar with some pirates and killed the hedgehog in charge of the cellar and got himself a mug of ale and said, "Ahhhh a pirates life for me."
"Move your stinking hide, Badrang!" Rofnard said angrily. "We need to kill those outside."

WIping tears from her eyes she gave Martin's sword to Maximus full of rage. SHe went at the vermin with Bloodwrath gripping her. ROaring out loud she screamed Redwall full of wrath and sadness.

Badrang was in cavern hole when he heard Kreastle coming. "It's the warrior! Defence positions!"
Everything was surronded in a red mist as vermin fell before her. She went fighting not caring if she lived or died, she had to try to fill the outlaws final wish.
The vermin saw her maul the first wave and they ran. " Were are you going?! Ugh! Fine I kill the warrior myself!" said Badrang III pulling out a cutlass and charging Kreastle.

BIC: Flerseus silently slipped out of the Abbey, knowing she was unwelcome. She started on the road again and randomly walked into the woods. She ended up in front of Fort Blood.

Flerseus slipped around the castle. It was much bigger on the inside than on the outside.
Badrang swung his sword at her wildly trying to hit her.
Ducking her head Kreastle slashed low trying to get at the oppents feet.
Badrang was knocked over by the blow and was on the ground, "Please don't kill me!" begged Badrang.
Flerseus walked up some stairs silently. She heard a weasel coming down the steps, talking to another weasel. She jumped up high to the ceiling and lodged herself there until the weasels had gone.
Still held in the grasp of Bloodwrath Kreastle screamed at the vermin," FOR MAXIMUS!" she thrust the sword down...
Then the stoat pirate yelled and died as more vermin charged her.

BIC: Amabel ran out the gates and into Mossflower Woods, hoping to loose the vermin as she ran Helter-skelter through the shrubs.

Kreastle had many vermin on her as she tried to ge them off. Struggling she ignored her wounds though her Bloodwrath was getting less. She didn't know if she wowuld make it any longer...
In the infirmary all the mousemaids were dashing around helping others and panicking. Then one saw Maximus's dead body and said, "Well serves him right! The stupid outlaw!" But then she screamed as Martin's sword began to glow. Then Maximus's eyes opened and they were glowing blue. "Whats going on?!?!" yelled the mouse as Maximus got up from the bed and was glowing blue all over his body. Then he left the room with all the maids screaming. He then charged the vermin and sound in a deep mystical voice, "Redwall..... Mossflower.... Noonvale.... Salamandastron...." He was slaying the vermin in masses.
OOC: wow!

Kreastle had finally fallen from the amount of numbers and her Bloodwrath was gone. SHe finally felt the exahustion and pain.
Then some rats surrounded her and said, "your a prisoner of Ronfard now!" but then they saw MAximus and his glowing sword. THen they ran in terror as the glowing ranger came nearer.
Kreaslte shook herself off and got up. SHe saw her saviour and ran foward to him. To happy for words she threw her arms around him and quickly got off embarassed. All she managed to say beofre taking off running was," Thank you!"
He looked at her with the glowing eyes and smiled then charged the vermin. "Redwall.... Mossflower.... Noonvale.... Salamandastron...."
OOC: All redwallers need to exit the abbey or die.
BIC: Rofnard put an arm around Flerseus' shoulders. "Come to this window and admire my abbey! You, go get some others and start the moving of the fortress!"
OOC: They are demolishing Fort Blood and taking the pieces to the abbey.
And MatthiasMan, you can be in the sequel as my right paw if you want!
Then Maximus came back to his normal self and looked at Kreastle then said, "We must leave!!" then they battle thier way through hodres of vermin and escaped with Amebel and some redwallers.....
