Ashleg, you're a cool guy. A lot of us thought you were a girl for the longest time, much to our horror and mortification, but you managed to make things not-so-awkward very quickly. Glad to have you on the forum.
Ashleg, I often need other people to start before I can follow suit, but here we go! ;D
I was one of the few that never really believed that you were a girl. ;D

You have a sense of humor, but you are also serious when you need to be, you are my fellow RR and I REALLY Hope you stay for a long long time here. Years back, in the days of Skipper, Tiria, Rain, myself, etc. I had two really good friends on the forum (redwallgurl and Wisteria Wild Cat), they're partially responsible for me getting into RP'ing, and by far my best friends on the forum back then. Time passed, as it is prone to do, and as anyone who's been around the forums knows, they're no longer active members. They both left a long long time ago, and it left a very lonely little Dann the squiddel with some rather large craters in his life. Needless to say, that was a very depressing period of time for me.... Thankfully, it wasn't very long. fast forward.... I'ma guess half a month or so, the forums get some new members... And the names of two of them were (can you guess? ;) ) Cornflower MM, and Faiyloe. Ever since, you two have been a huge blessing to me in various ways. So much so I can't adequately thank you for the impact you've had, or those large holes which you managed to cover up... Words are failing me, I want to describe the kind of joy these relationships have brought me, but I'm stuck with phrases that pale in comparison to what I feel..... In short,
thank you, for joining when you did, for being my friend through every turn, for putting up with me, for talking to me, for caring, and for every time you've brought swells of laughter to my lungs to the point where I'd gasp for air. It wasn't always easy, but I'd gladly go through it all again if it meant you were still my friends. Thank you :'( ;)
And just to make something clear quick, this isn't to say everyone else is just kinda meh, I love you guys a lot.... This was meant to show just HOW MUCH Faiy and Corn have meant to me over the years... And there are still things to be said, I just don't have the time right now. :)

@Skarzs Okay dude, this one's more bittersweet. Sweet, because you always mange to have some of the best Role Plays. Bitter, because everyone is too busy with your RP to do any others! Seriously, I don't know how you do it, I spent an entire year mulling over an RP concept, story, layout, history, the works, but it never even got off the ground. The same thing has happened with every RP I've ever tried to start. But every RP I see you make draws ALL the regulars, and some of the part-timers too. I've had loads of fun participating in these over the years, and I can't wait to see what else is in store. I've yet to have the pleasure of getting to know you, but I've seen that (despite pretenses of being a troll [not related to the internet troll of course]) you appear to have a warm heart. Also, the complaints above were all comical in nature, I'm extremely glad to have your presence in the RP boards, and would be greatly saddened if we were to lose you. Thanks for inspiring others to stretch their minds and write the stories we RP'ers love so much.

You all a great group of people. Yes, we argue and fight sometimes, or have members that have made ten or more "I'M LEAVING" topics (wonder who ;) ), but at the end of the day, this still is a place where I believe we all care about each other, which is so very rare in the Internet. I think Brian Jacques would be happy, even though we don't talk about the books so often, that his works drew a group of people together in a group like this.

Chip is the kind of person I aim to become one day.
He's the sweetest, smartest and more patient guy that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting; He's been with me thru thin and thick and never once complained (and you guys know how hard I'm to put up with sometimes). I can't even think of how many tough spots he's gotten me off of and I sincerely doubt I'd have gone thru the whole "RAFF Revival" thing if he hadn't been there to remind me how worth it it was going to be and to provide much-needed support when the lack of results was drawing me to a corner.
He also follows every topic I want to discuss with genuine interest and while providing funny and intelligent remarks, which makes every chat, big or small, an unforgettable experience.
In all honesty, I could be -deservedly- praising him for another hour and that wouldn't make a difference. At some point, feelings resist analysis and no matter how much I write about the kind of appreciation and respect I feel toward him, I could never truly capture the experience of actually feeling those emotions.
Meet him if you haven't already, and maybe you can have a taste of this. You won't regret it ;)

@Gonff the Mousethief Thank you for being the closest friend I've ever had. I trust you with almost anything and that's a big deal for me. You were one of the first people to reach out to me here and made sure I felt safe and loved. You are amazing.
I joined up last year and my browser really didn't get on with the forum, which put me off visiting here for... well, quite a while. :o As the old forum will soon be up and running I was inspired to come here again, and it actually works okay on another browser.
Anyway, what I was getting to was that I've just noticed the new 'mentions' thing at the top of the screen. Clicked on it and I was pleasantly surprised at such kind words said, and I didn't even know! So I wanted to show belated appreciation for (whether they still post or not):
