Now, most people become villains because they are motivated by something.

Sometimes they are just hurt inside and want to take the pain out on others.

Other times, they are motivated by greed and thus want some material good like money or gold or the largest collection of lazer weapons.

Others and one of the most common is to conquer a country or world and become sole ruler.

But there is one type that outclasses all other motivations...

By simply having no motivation at all!

What about people like Firelord Zuko who was pushed into it? Or Azula who had a mental health issue and half thanks to the way she was brought up? What do they fall under?

(I should really start watching it -_-)

Zuko would fall under the Reluctant Villain, basically those who perform evil actions because they either don't want to disappoint some paternal/maternal figure, or they will get beat up for it. Zuko would then become a Reformed Villain, a.k.a those who join the heroes (ugh) at some point or another. Usually done can add depth to the story and the character or because the said character is very popular with the fanbase...

Azula would fall under the Upbringing Class of Villains, then would advance into what I call: The Mental State, where basically your mind snapped through one form or another and you become an unhinged psychopath...

And what about Veil Sixclaw? He was raised to be good, but...Well, spoilers.

He still did very bad things, despite having beasts who loved him and would do anything, and did do everything for him. He seemed to be evil from the very start..
