I like it, but I've never finished Return of the King.  I'm re-reading them now, and this time I'm going to finish them.

My dad holds that his favorite character is Faramir, but I don't want to form an opinion until I've finished them.

I've seen the movies and have them on Blu-ray and DVD.  As for my favorite character I like Gimli and Legolas and Gandalf.
