Lemme rephrase that, I am not good with singing in a group where I can even hear myself.

Somehow my reply to the announcement tweet for the Mowgli movie ended up as one of the featured tweets in a Twitter Moment, which would help explain why it has over 500 likes and 75,000 views. ._.

Yup.

Only four or so people actually clicked on my profile after all that, though.

Also, because of my tweet, I got embroiled in a debate with a crazy person who was upset that the unknown child star of the movie wasn't mentioned in the tweet (Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch, and two other big stars were instead).  They kept saying it was all because of racism because capitalism is inherently racist and it was racist to ignore an unknown child actor of Indian descent and market the movie by mentioning three famous white stars and one Indian one instead.  No matter how much I tried to pound into their head that it would be the same if the unknown kid actor was white, they insisted on this stupidity, and at one point told me I was "literally ignorant."  I told them they were distracting from actual racism that occurs thanks to their watering down of the word "racism" by using it for this situation.  They then tried to educate me on the trendy new definition of racism that doesn't include basic prejudice but is instead all about invisible power structures (they quoted some other dictionary at me to do it).  Honestly, the whole thing was more complicated than this and quite exhausting.  I finally summed up their ridiculous philosophy in one tweet, told them they made no sense, and ended with "bye."  (Then I muted them to cut down on stress.)

And that is why I have no Twitter. It's generally impossible to have a proper discussion within the character limit anyhow.

Oh, also the fact that I don't have a smartphone. That probably has something to do with it too, now that I think about it  ;D

This is the first time I've ever really gotten involved in a debate/argument on there, luckily.  I don't wish to repeat it.

I don't actually have a smartphone either.  Which is a good thing, since I already spend way too much time online anyway. ;D

That's pretty cool. :D

Do have a lot of like for the 'fluffy' Disney film, though. ;)

The CG designs look a tad ugly in the trailer. Shere Khan y u lk lyk tht?

Probably won't see this at the cinema, but maybe in a few years on the telly. Haven't even seen the recent Disney one yet. It's been a while since I've read the book. There were a few Jungle Book films in the '90s? (also Disney) which I think followed the book more... or maybe not. People seem to forget those. ;D Probably because they weren't very good...

@HeadInAnotherGalaxy Will you be watching the Classic Who marathon on Twitch?
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.
