Hey all,
To help me with inspiration and research for the Redwall game level I am making it would be great if everybody could post up their favourite images that appear in the books or fan art.
If everybody posted 1 or 2 images then I can get a feel for what sums up Redwall to them and I can try and include these elements into my work.

A piece of fan art I found on the Redwall Wiki last year by Neildown. It pictures the essence of Redwall: Peaceful woodlands, flowing grass plains and the Abbey peaking out above the landscape, with a tribute to the world's creator Brian Jacques. I've always been fond of it.

DekabristMouse (http://dekabristmouse.deviantart.com) has a lot of Redwall fanart which I've always found accurate to my perception of Redwall. I'll also second Chichapie, he's got some great stuff. I don't believe BubbleWolf (http://bubblewolf.deviantart.com) has been mentioned yet, either. Thunderclap (http://bubblewolf.deviantart.com/art/Thunderclap-166722375) is one of my favorites.

Good guess, Nightfire, it was indeed drawn by David Peterson! It's from his blog (http://davidpetersen.blogspot.com/2011/02/rest-in-peace-mr.html). It was my wallpaper for a while.

What did they call it in the "Lion King?" The circle of life. Think the best line about such things came from the movie "Brian's Song." The narrator said that all stories about people that are true always ends in death. Such is what happened to Redwall's creator.

Yeah, that picture isn't Redwall. It's from the Warriors books, and it's most likely Jayfeather.

I love the contrast between their expressions. And the fact that, in the direction Abbot Durral is facing, the deck is shadowed, but in the direction that Romsca's facing, the details of the deck eventually almost get lost beneath the haze of the sunlight.

Wow, some of these are amazing! I have to say though, I'm not a huge fan of that Trunn drawing. I understand it's just creative license, but I would prefer one that stayed closer to the book description of him.
