The clouds over-head made the River Moss stark and gray. Virren strided out of the thickage. Virren 's chainmail tunic shimmerd against the water. Aspek Creekwater launched out of the river, Pike in paw, stuck out at Virren.
The rat scout gave a shout of surprise dodging the pike thrust falling backward onto the mossy turf. Rolling away from the otter Virren picked himself up quickly a safe distance away from the otter before throwing his spear aiming at his attacks chest.
The large brawny otter steeped aside from the sharp projectile. Unwrapping his sling from around his waist, Aspek launched a smooth river stone between Virrens eyes, yelling, " You got a bit of a headache matey".
Virren's paw came up taking the hit from the stone leaving large pebble size bruise on his forearm.
"I'll cut yer from limb to limb." Virren roared pulling his sword free from its scabbard charging the otter before it could send off another projectile.
