I know that for two people this is their first RP and I just want everyone to be considerate of them please 3. this is the first RP I've made so please keep that in mind. 4. We are opening the night I described to everyone in the sign up thread. 5. be carful not to do any PPing of GMing. Thank you and now lets begin! Cien lay half awake half asleep in his bed. The night sounds of Mossflower drifting up to his bedroom window. He could here the distant sound of trees swaying in the night breeze, an owl hooted somewhere outside.
Cien rolled over into a more comfortable position and tried to go to sleep. He was just drifting off when he heard two spine chilling screams from the corridor.
He jumped out of bed and grabbed his jacket, and Martin the Warrior's sword of which he was responsible for being the Abbey Champion.
Cien could hear the screams coming closer. He flung his bedroom door open and ran out side of it and was almost knocked over by two screaming, and crying young mice. They flung themselves on him and hugged him still crying.
Cien didn't know what to make of it.

Sister Lupine was busy in her room writing songs for the up coming Play she was organizing. She found doing such tasks at night, helped calm her and meant that she could practice the songs the next day with the Dibbuns.
She was just putting ink to parchment when she heard awful screams erupt outside in the corridor.
The kindly, young mousemaid tied her dressing gown around her and went to investigate.
Abbess Fern was awakened by the sobbing of the two mice. The hare got out of bed and hurried downstairs.
"What's going on?" she inquired.
The mousemaid Primrose replied haltingly, "A g-g-ghost! We saw it!"
Cien hugged the two mice to him and tried to calm them. "There, there me beauty's. Hush now, there's no such thing as ghosts isn's that right...." he asked the first beast he saw. "Isn't that right Abbess?"
A new voice piped up. "Well I should hope not, wot!" It was Ragg, the hare. He looked slightly foolish clad in his colourful night-garments, and long trailing nightcap. "Bally 'ol ghosty disturbed me of me beauty sleep." he muttered.
"No, there's no such thing as ghosts," Fern reassured the two youngsters. "But why are you up, anyway? It's the middle of the night. You should be fast asleep."
Turning away, she told Ragg, "There's no ghost."
The two infants wiped their eyes and explained themselves. "We were going to practice da songs for the musical."
"Oh you poor dears!" Exclaimed Sister Lupine as she hurried down the corridor from her room. She knelt down and hugged the sniffing infants.
Cien stood up and smiled at the group of creatures who had left there beds to discover what was going on. "Well looks to be a false alarm folks. I'll take these two back to their beds to get settled."
Cien picked the two mice up and held them in his strong arms. Sister Lupine smiled politely and quickly kissed the two babe's. "Goodnight to you two."
Glirid was wide awake. After he had heard those two scary monsterdragonthingamajigs' screams he had instantly been on the alert. With "paw" in one paw he hid quietly under the covers, his little eyes peeping warily over the covers so he would see the monsters when they tried to get him.
the young squirrel maid Bryony came around the corner, looking for what the babes had seen, with an arrow on her bowstring. Seeing nothing, she went to the Abbess(OOC, Bryony is a visitor here, by the way)BIC. reporting to the abbess."there is nothing there, Ma'am, I looked and waited for a few minutes! perhaps something WAS there, and it left, as frightened of the babes as they were of it!!
"What could it be?" the Abbess whispered to Bryony, who shook her head in puzzlement. Though Fern seemed relatively calm to everybeast else, she was quite perplexed as well. The Dibbuns had been so frightened, they had obviously seen something. But what?
Fern straightened up and watched as Cien headed off to the dormitories with the two little mice. As he did so, the Abbess addressed Bryony and Sister Lupine. "I think all three of us need our rest," she said. "We'll talk about this in the morning. Though it's probably nothing. Good night."
BIC: Cien was busy tucking the babe's in their beds when he noticed a rather suspicious lump at the end of Glirid's bed. The baby mice had fallen asleep so Cien went over and pulled back the covers.

Sister Lupine nodded at the Abbess wise counsel. "Yes Abbess."
She looked with distaste at Bryony's ready strung bow, before turning and walking back to her room.

Dawn came. The sun's first rays spilled across the Abbey lawns, bathing everything in an amber-hued light, and making the quiet waters of the pond shimmer and sparkle in the early sun.
Abbess Fern awoke. She got out of bed without waking her husband Mycroft, who was sound asleep. The pretty hare dressed and went downstairs to the kitchens. She was nearly there when she was hit from behind by two small hares.
"G'morning Mummy!"
Fern regained her balance and smiled at her two children. "Well, aren't you up early! Little ones like you usually sleep in. Come on, let's have breakfast. I'm sure the Friar is up."
"Brekkist!" yelled the leveret Brinkut. His elder sister Mayflower took his paw and all three entered the kitchens.
Melina was leaving the kitchens when she bumped into the Abbess accompanied by Brinkut and Mayflower. 'Hello!' she said, patting the little ones on the head and nodding to Fern. 'Good morning to you.'
Morning sun flooded into Cien's little room, encouraging him to get up and enjoy the day. Cien pulled the covers over his head rolled over. He had never been a morning beast, and after being up last night he was even more reluctant to leave his bed.

Sister Lupine despite last night's dramas was up bright and early. She wandered along Redwall's battlements, nibbling a scone she had taken from the kitchen's, enjoying the felling of the sun's warmth on her back.
A robin flew down and landed on the battlements just in front of her. Lupine smiled at the curious bird, and crumbled a piece of the scone for the little bird before continuing her walk. Upon reaching the steps which led from the battlements to the Abbey grounds, Lupine walked down them and towards the Abbey itself. Humming a ditty as she went.
OOC- sorry! i forgot to say that i put up my bow before returning to the Abbess BIC.
Bryony woke up, relishing her bed, then remembers what happened last night, jumping out of bed like a thunderbolt, she went to check where the babes saw the odd apparition last night.
After making sure that nothing was there she went to breakfast, getting some good scones spread with meadow cream and jam, taking her breakfast outside, talking to none.
OOC: Oh don't worry Cornflower, Lupine doesn't like weapons so that's why she wasn't pleased at the sight of them. oh and please do all your OOC posts in the OOC and sign up thread. I said so in the first post.
BIC Sister Lupine who wasn't really looking where she was going walked slap bang into Bryony.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" Lupine exclaimed.

Cien had finally made a decision about whether to get up or not. Actually his stomach had, and when Cien was hungry he could think of nothing else.
So with reluctance Cien rolled out of bed and got dressed.
"Oh, Sister Lupine, It's fine, really!! Are you alright?? i hope i didn't hurt you!!" Bryony walks a little way with the good Sister "Why is everyone so excited?? Is there going to be a Feast?"
Sister Lupine shook her head. "No, I am putting on a Musical of the life of our first Abbey Champion, Martin the Warrior. He is the mouse on the great Taperstry in Great Hall. His sword is the one Cien carries, it is tradition that all the Abbey Champions carry the Great Sword of Martin."

Cien poked his head into Cavern Hole where breakfast was still taking place. He strode in and sat down at the nearest table to the door, and began to spread some scones with blackcurrant jam.
Oh, a Musical?? Wow!! sounds exciting!! I can't wait to see it! Er, when exactly ARE you performing?? I have some Business in Mossflower shortly...
Sister Lupine smiled prettily and opened the Abbey door. "Oh I'm going to hold some auditions today. And when that's down with me and the young ones will rehearse until I think we're ready."

Cien munched happily on his scone, going over the nights events in his head. It was strange but then again it was late and the little mice might have imagined the whole thing.

Abbess Fern sat at the top of the table in Cavern Hole, she too was going over the nights events. She smiled as a little vole sitting next to Cien started to eat the sea otters breakfast. His mind seemed to be else where too.
Oh, Really??? Can i audition, Sister?? It sounds like fun!!
Sister Lupine thought for a moment. "Hmmm, you could if you wanted to. I do need some older beasts to play some of the more complicated roles. If you would like yes you could audition. But it does depend on how well you sing." The good Sister smiled and walked off in the direction of Cavern Hole.
Glirid munched away at an apple. He liked apples, they were very appley! He sat there wondering if that dragonmonsterthingamajig would come out again tonight like it did last night. It had sounded very scary when he had heard it. He shivered. He hoped that it stayed away tonight.
Melina sat down next to Glirid. 'So, I heard about some kind of monster that showed up last night. Did you see it?' She liked hearing the dibbuns' silly stories and she was inwardly curious about this dragon ghost thing that they claimed to have seen.
Cien who had eaten his fill wandered down to the Cellars. Jerry the Cellarhog might need help testing last Autumns October Ale, and Cien always loved helping other creatures. Especially if they worked in the Cellars.

Sister Lupine shook her head as she pasted the door that lead down to the Cellars. She was sure the off key singing that she could was coming from the Cellars. "Huh if anyone needs singing listings it's whoevers down there doing their best impression of a dying duck."
"No, Badgermum." Glirid said, munching away on another apple. "But I heard it. It was scary! It wen' like this!" and he proceeded to make a sound in imitation of the dragonmonsterthingamajig.
Sister Lupine was walking past when she heard what Glirid said. She smiled, the Dibbuns all had such wonderful imaginations.
As Bryony wandered on her way, she thought "Singing??? Well it isn't my strong point, well, Maybe it is...I've never really sung in front of an audience before..."
Hello, Melina, Glirid. Do you know where the Auditions are taking place?? I thought I might try, Although I've never really sung before!
Cien had left the Cellars to get some tankards from the kitchen for Jerry. When he heard Bryony talking about the auditions he said. "Oh Sister Lupine was going to hold them in the Orchard at noon. She hasn't exactly spread the word widely, she only told the Dibbuns. But then again the Dibbuns would spread the word for he, guess the didn't get as far as you."
After he was finished he strode off in the direction of the kitchens singing quietly to himself. "The morning gold light rises and fills me with faith for the new day.
When the deep blue waves of the far western sea break themselves upon the far away shore.

Sister Lupine who had been standing in the corner, whipped round when Cien past. She had barely ever heard him sing. And what I nice voice he had, if only she could get him to join in the Play. But he would never, ever even audition. So she needed a plan.

Abbess Fern after finishing breakfast had gone up to her room. She opened the door and walked over to her writing desk over by the window. It was her duty as Abbess to keep a record, even if their was an official Abbey Recorder, she was expected to write a journal.
She sat down and got everything ready, but she couldn't think of anything to write. She stared out the window. "I think I'll go to the Orchard, Sister Lupine will be doing her auditions there soon. Maybe I could help judge." She mused.
"Thank you, Cien!" Bryony said. As she walked past Sister Lupine she heard her talking to herself, " Sister Lupine, careful now, if more beasts hear you talking to yourself, they might think you're going crazy!!" she said jokingly. "All the same though, if i may ask, where you saying??"
Sister Lupine looked up in shock and embarencment. "Oh nothing, I was just musing." she smiled and walk swiftly away calling back to the Dibbuns and Bryony, "I'm starting the auditions now. So come along."
The Dibbuns all cheered and ran after her.

Cien after fetching the tankards from the kitchen for Jerry made is way to the Gatehouse. All though creatures may not have taken him for the scholar type, he did enjoy a bit of history now and then.
The Gatehouse keeper was no where to be seen so he sat down in an armchair and picked up the book which he had left under the chair yesterday. He was reading about the building of Redwall Abbey and was enjoying it. He just hoped that the keeper of the Abbey library wouldn't need this particular book. Cien snuggled in the thing big armchair and began to read.
Oh!! Bryony was helping Sister Lupine to try and organize the Dibbuns...without much success! She was also trying to think of a song she could audition with....
Jut then Abbess Fern came to the rescue. "Okay you lot into lines, youngest first oldest at the back. Now Sister Lupine, may I help you judge?"

Cien was busily reading away when he heard something outside on the path. He stood up, and mark the page he had been reading before hiding the book under his chair.
He opened the Gatehouse door and walked over to the main gate and opened it slightly, no beast there.
"I'm going mad." Cien murmured to himself.
"Me first! Me firs'!" said Glirid grinning happily and he ran to the front of the line and took his place. This was going to be fun!
Sister Lupine smiled. "Okay Glirid since you are the youngest you may go first.
Bryony was at the back of the line, thinking..... Hmm, let's see, maybe THIS song will do......

Cien walked back into the Gatehouse wondering what had been banging on the gate, but he soon forgot about it. He had reading to do.
"Yay!" Glirid started singing a tune about cheese, waving "paw" about like a conductor.

Abbess Fern and Sister Lupine, both clapped heartily. it was Sister Lupine who spoke. "That was very nice Glirid, I have written down what I thought and so has Abbess Fern. After everyone has sung, I will chose who will be in the Play."

Cien who had finished his reading, was hiding behind a tree watching. It wasn't just Dibbuns who were auditioning, that Bryony squirrel and a few others of an older age were also waiting to sing. Cien bit his lip. Should he? Then a sudden pain shot through him, and ran away.
Those words, those memorise. Why couldn't they just leave him, why couldn't he forget?
He went straight to the Tapestry of Martin the Warrior and looked up at him. So proud so strong. "Did anyone ever leave you warrior? Does her voice?" He stood there, was if waiting for an answer, but none came.
Who next??? Bryony wondered She thought she saw
Cien behind a tree, but she wasn't sure.
A little volemaid came forward and sang a little ditty she had heard the Friar sing while he was cooking. After her was a little mole, and so on. Until eventually it was Bryony's turn.

Lupine stifled a giggle, the song was a good one and Bryony had sung it well. "That was very good Bryony, I'll give you the result later."
Abbess Fern smiled. Bryony's song had reminded her of her husband Mycroft, who had once been with the Long Patrol. Speaking of Mycroft, where was he? He couldn't still be asleep?
Fern looked up. Oh, there he is. By the pond, playing with Mayflower and Brinkut. She watched them a moment, but then the next auditioner came up, a little squirrelbabe named Wiklam. He began his song.
Lupine looked up when he was done, "Wiklam that was very nice, but why weren't you in the front with the other Dibbuns?"
Wiklam shuffled his tiny footpaws and twirled his bushy tail awkwardly. "I waked up too late, Sista. No other Dibbuns waked me up in time. I had brefkist an' then comed to sing."
"You sang very well," Abbess Fern told him, smiling.
"Yes." Agreed Lupine, "Now run along, the auditions are now closed. Me and the Abbess will tell everyone the results at afternoon tea."
"Yay!" cheered Glirid and several of the other dibbuns and they all ran off to play in the Orchard.
Cien had left Great Hall and had gone down to Cavern Hole feeling some what depressed, but his good mood returned when he heard the Friar in the kitchen singing some outrageous song of his.
A smile spread across Cien's face, he might need to hid the strong brandy or the Abbey would never be quiet again.
After tea, the Abbess and Sister Lupine called together the Dibbuns and everybeast who had auditioned to give the results.
"Did I win?" yelled the squirrelbabe Wiklam. Fern's daughter Mayflower (who had not auditioned because she was quiet and rather shy) shushed him. "My mummy and the Sister are going to tell you if you won. You must be quiet now."
Fern smiled at everybeast present. "Sister Lupine and I have made our choices. Lupine will read out who will be in the musical." The Abbess looked at Lupine, motioning her to start reading the list.
OOC: i decided to leave the deciding of whether or not she sings good.......
Bryony waited with baited breath...she wasn't sure if she if she REALLY wanted to be in the Musical or not..
Sister Lupine cleared her throat and read out the list of names of the ones who were chosen. "Ahem, Glirid, Wiklam, Toffe, Kopti, Bryony, Sister Lucy, Jackrum, Brother Alk, Sister Fugt, Crchut, Balis, Matthew, Tuick, Bendin, Gladis, Hertol, Chiptsy, and Gutrik."
"Yay!" cheered Glirid again, waving "paw" back and forth and dancing around excitedly.
"Me?? What?? Are you sure?? I didn't sing THAT good, did I??" Bryony didn't think that she sang that good!! However, she trusted the Abbess and the good Sister!
Sister Lupine nodded, "Yes Bryony, you. You sung very well and me and the Abbess both agreed that you should be in the Play."

Cien stood in the doorway listening. He nodded as each name was called out, yes a fair choice.
As Bryony walked back inside (after thanking the Abbess and Sister Lupine ; she was very good-mannered and also asking when the Practices would be) she passed Cien "hello, Cien. Is there anything that needs to be done at the moment??"
Cien shook his head, "not that I'm aware of, why'd you ask?"
no reason..... why don't we take a walk?? I've been wanting to get to know better...is that alright??
Cien thought for a moment and then shrugged, "Yeah, a walk would be fine."
You know, Cien....i was just wondering if you came from the Northern Shores.....I once knew someone from there...
Cien shook his head, "No I'm from an island call Riftgard it's a long way from here, but I have been to the Northern shores. My family sailed the seas, until we were attacked....." His voice trailed off.
"Oh, no! that is horrible....I was just asking, because...because...I'm from Riftgard, too....we also were attacked...my mother and father had died in Riftgard, but my brother and I escaped...when we were attacked. My brother disappeared. I've been roaming ever since...." At that moment the bells rang out, and Bryony gave a yelp "Oh, no! I'll be late!!" She rushed of in the direction of the nearest wallgate.
Cien watched after her, so Riftgard had been attacked. Cien wondered when, he had grow up at sea so it could have been anytime since his family had left. Shame, Cien had always been told Riftgard was a nice place.
Cien then wondered, how did she get here?
The tall, otter shook his head, and walked after her.
After a short while, Bryony came back into the Abbey. "Excuse me, Sister Lupine, but when is the next practice?? I' don't want to miss it!"
Abbess Fern, who was walking by, overheard Bryony. Turning to the pretty squirrelmaid she replied, "We'll probably have a rehearsal tonight. Isn't that right, Lupine?"
Sister Lupine who was writing in her notebook, replied without looking away from what she was doing. "Oh, yes. Tonight we'll have the first practice."

At that moment Cien walked into the room, building up his courage he walked over to the threesome and said quickly. "Could I come and watch?"
"thank you, Sister Lupine! I don't mind if Cien watches, but it's up to you" Bryony said.
Lupine, who was surprised that the warrior otter would want to watch, looked up from her notebook, and said readily, "Oh yes! Of course!"
She smiled to herself, maybe he would join the play after all.
Bryony quickly walked out of the room and to her Dormitory; from there (carrying something bulky and trying not to be seen) she went to a secret spot and sighed, then she went to work....
A strange white figure glided past Bryony's door, it was white all over except for it's face, which was just a shrouded mist. It seemed to be in a habit therefore making it's species, and gender unknown.
Bryony opened her door, then screamed "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP! HELP!"
As soon as Bryony screamed the figure disappeared in a puff of mist.
Cien, who had been on his way to the infirmary with a dibbun mole, who had hedgehog spikes in his paw, came running around the corner, and down the corridor. "What's wrong?!?" He yelled as he came running.
"Ghost...Figure.....help!! Vanished in puff... ".*Faints*
Cien was surprised when Bryony fainted, he picked her up, and carried her to the infirmary.
Upon entering the infirmary he spoke to the scary infirmary keeper, a moody, old vole sister who always fisasicked everyone, no matter what the injury, but some of her fisasick's were quite nice, other not so. "Um good day, Sister. I have a spiked mole babe, and a screaming squirrelmaid, for you here."
The sister, who's name was Sister Flupit scowled, "Put the maid on the bed, and get out." Cien bowed, and left the smiling mole babe and the unconscious maid in the infirmary. The mole babe was quite happy, for Sister Flupit liked the dibbuns, and gently removed the spikes.
When Bryony fainted, Martin The Warrior appeared to her "Do not be afraid, All will be well soon" he said.
As Cien walked back down the corridor, where he had found Bryony, he noticed something.
Some strange writing on the wall opposite the squirrelmaid's door.
Cien looked at it in amazement, because the writing was some sort of mist. Cien looked at the words carefully, but they were all strange. He then remembered something, Loamscript. This was Loamscript, Cien was teaching himself how to read it.
Cien quickly took a charcoal stick, and some parchment out of a pouch on his belt, and copied the words down. It was a good thing he did because just as he had finished, the words disappeared. Melting back into the wall.
Bryony started mumbling in her now sleep "No...Please! No...Take me, not Bryant.....STOP!!! No.....HELP!!!
Sister Flupit ran over to the bed, grabbing some medicine as she went, and then gently dripped it into the squirrelmaid's mouth.

Sister Lupine was in her room, writing up the songs that would need practicing this evening.

Bryony stopped mumbling after Sister Flupit dripped the medicine into her mouth after screaming out "BRYANT!!!!!" one last time.
Sister Flupit and the mole babe looked at each other, very confused. "Hurr what be a Bryant sisyter Flupit?" the mole babe asked. But the sister had no idea.
Abbess Fern had heard somebeast screaming. Several times. She was just heading off to find out what was going on when Cien approached her with a parchment in his paw.
"Mother Abbess," Cien began, "I just found this written in mist on the wall outside Bryony's door, after she had been screaming, and had fainted. It's written in Loamscript so I'll need some help translating it."

Just then Sister Lupine was walking down the corridor, coming to investigate the screaming. She stood stock still, when hearing what Cien said. "What did you say?"
"What do you mean, written in mist?" Fern inquired curiously. Surely she'd misunderstood what Cien had said.
Bryony woke up and tried to get off the bed, saying "Bryant, BRYANT!! Where did you go? I have to find you!!"
Sister Flupit gently pushed her back down, "Hush now, I don't know any Bryant but I do know that you're staying here."

Cien nodded, "In mist, on the wall! Look I copied it down."
He showed them the parchment.
"But, but Bryant! I have to find him! The vermin took him! Please! Let me find my brother!!" Bryony pleaded
Sister Flupit, and the mole babe, (who's name was Gunfer) stared at each other. Not knowing what to think
OOC: Um I may decide to make Gunfer a bit of a side show act. So he may be turning up later ;)
OOC: Yay! Anozer dibbun character!
Glirid stuck his head cautiously into the infirmary. "Sisser Fluypit, is Gunfer gon ti be awright?" he said.
"Please, whoever you are! Please!"
OOC: I'm having Bryony go into a bit of fever, brought on by shock, which I don't know if it's possible, but if you want me to change tell me!
OOC @Cornflower no it's fine. :)
BIC: Gunfer smiled, and tucked his button nose. "Hurr don' be'a worrying abou' this here moler. I be good as new."
Sister Flupit pushed Bryony back onto the pillow again. "Now missy, you just lay still, and drink this." She went over to a cupboard, and took out a bottle, and poured some of the liquid onto a spoon, and put the spoon into Bryony's mouth.
Then can I look for Bryant??
"Of course, but lay down, and let that arrive." Flupit said kindly. She hadn't told the maid that she had just given her, a very strong sleeping drug. She would sleep for about half an hour.
"OK!" Bryony obediently swallowed the spoonful, lay back on her pillows, and fell fast asleep.
Sister Flupit smiled slyly to herself. Now to find somebeast who knew the squirrelmaid well enough to know who Bryant is.
OOC: She might try Cien first ;)
OOC: Um, why. Cien doesn't really know Bryony at all. He's only spoken to her a few times. And anyway Sister Flupit doesn't know even that.
OOC: "Oh, no! that is horrible....I was just asking, because...because...I'm from Riftgard, too....we also were attacked...my mother and father had died in Riftgard, but my brother and I escaped...when we were attacked. My brother disappeared. I've been roaming ever since...." At that moment the bells rang out, and Bryony gave a yelp "Oh, no! I'll be late!!" She rushed of in the direction of the nearest wallgate.
That's why! She was talking to Cien..... ;)

Bryony turned onto her side, still sleeping peacefully.
Gunfer shook his velvety head in puzzlement, "Hurr this here maid be very odded." He then turned, and ran over to the door of the infirmary, shouting out, "Hurr, I race you to the Orchard Glirid!"
"Okay!" And with that said Glirid tore off for The Orchard as fast as his little mouse paws could take him.
Gunfer had a head start, but his little legs soon got tired. He tried to keep going, but soon had to stop to catch his breathe.
Bryony rolled back to her other side, dreaming peacefully......
OOC: Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. Um, yeah, so Fern is talking to Cien about the mysterious writing.
BIC: "Loamscript?" Abbess Fern said. "I'm really not too good with reading that!" She paused. "Is this what all that screaming was about?"
Cien shrugged, "I'm not sure. I was taking little Gunfer to the infirmary when Bryony started screaming. When I got to her, she fainted clean away."

Lupine came forward, "You said the writing is Loamscript, right? I'm quite good at reading it. I'll interpret it." She offered.
"Heehee! Looks Li' I'm a gonna winin!" Glirid joyously shouted, continuing on with an impressive display of quick-footed...and then he suddenly tripped over his own little feet and tumbled repeatedly over himself before finally coming to a stop and ending up as a little fluffy ball of mouse upside down on his head. "OY!" he said, dizzily. "Tha' was fun, eh?"
Gunfer clapped his little paws, "Hurr I wanna go nower sir!"
Gunfer then started running, and also fell over his own paws, and rolled until he stopped. Looking like a little ball of soft velvet.
Bryony started to stir, waking up.
Sister Flupit, quickly ran over to the door, opened it, and shouted down the corridor, "Somebeast come quick, and help me!"
She then closed the door, someone would come, and then they would help with the squirrelmaid.
"Oh, where am I? Can I go look for my brother now?" Bryony asked, swinging her legs over the side of the bed.
Fern heard Flupit's shout. "'Scuse me a minute," she told Cien and Sister Lupine, leaving the two standing there talking. The hare Abbess dashed upstairs towards the infirmary.
"Weeee!!!! That looks fun! Can we's play too?" Several other dibbuns walked up to the two balls of fur. They had been watching Glirid and Gunfer, and thought that it was fun too. A second later the corridor was filled with little upside down balls of fur.
Gunfer was going for his fourth go now, but it was rather difficult, he kept falling over other Dibbuns, and therefore didn't get a good run up.

Sister Flupit came storming over to the bed, "No you cannot. Now get back into bed. Your not going anywhere until I say so!"
Fern knocked on the door of the infirmary and called out, "What's going on?"
Glirid tripped over a small watervole dibbun and ended up crashing into a squirrel, who lost balance while attempting a balancing trick and they all crashed together into a big pile of fur-dibbuns. This was turning out to be quite the game.
But PLEASE?? Why ever not? Please! I don't want to hurt you, really I don't! Let me look for Bryant!!!
Sister Flupit was grateful when the Abbess arrived. "Oh, thank goodness your here. This maid keeps saying that she wants to look for Bryant. Whoever that is. And is threatening violence."
OOC: Hey rachel? I think you mean 'threatening' just pointing it out!
BIC: I really really don't want to hurt any of you! please! Why can't I go look?!?!?!?!?
OOC: Stupid iPad. Now Jukka!
OOC: You have an iPad?!?!?!?!?!
OOC: Well it's my dad's iPad, but my sister keeps it in our room. I sometimes get on it. But I prefer the computer. :)

BIC: Fern walked over to Bryony, who was sitting on the edge of the bed. "Why would you hurt Sister Flupit?" she asked the unhappy-looking squirrelmaid. She felt her forehead. "Are you feeling alright? You seem feverish." She made no mention of Bryant, figuring that it was someone from Bryony's past that it could upset her to be asked about.
OOC: Does Bryony still have a fever? I'm not absolutely sure! If not, I can edit my post.
Sister Flupit shook her head, "Missy, you couldn't hurt me, I'm a northlander, and we don't get hurt that easily, na." She said, her eyes twinkling.
Just then Sister Lupine, who had been very worried, and confused about what Cien had told her. So she had decided to come, and see if she could help with Bryony.
"Oh, is that her name? I don't want to, but she won't let me look for Bryant! I have a feeling you won't, either. I feel fine! A little hot, but fine!" Bryony said, a little confused, and definitely more hurt and anxious than anything else.
Fern decided that Bryony was not quite as ill as she'd first thought. "Who is Bryant?" she inquired curiously, sitting down on a chair by the bed. Bryony was about to reply, when Lupine entered the room. The hare Abbess looked up. "Oh, did you find out what the writing means?"
OOC: She does still have a fever, but it's lessening....slowly!
BIC: "Bryant is my brother. Can I go look for him now? We were attacked by vermin, and he disappeared." the squirrel maid said.
Fern wisely didn't try to argue with Bryony, but she wasn't quite sure if the squirrelmaid was well enough to leave the Abbey. So she didn't say anything about looking for Bryant. Instead, she replied, "That's terrible! Do you know where he might be?"
OOC @Cornflower: Maybe you should write a fan fiction about Bryony! Her backstory sounds interesting!
OOC:@Jukka Maybe I will......I'll have to think about it some more, but that's a good idea!
BIC: "No.... That's why I travel. So, can I go now?" Bryony asked. She wondered where exactly she was.
In answer to the Abbess question, Lupine shook her head, "No Cien said he was going to talk to Old Gumdy, the Gatehouse keeper."
"Um, hello? Can I go now? And where am I?"
"Your at Redwall Abbey, don't you remember?" Sister Lupine said, a worried look on her face.
"No I don;'t! Can I go now?? I feel FINE!!!"

BIC: Suddenly, Abbess Fern felt slightly dizzy. She put a paw to her forehead and closed her eyes. As she did so she heard a strange voice speaking to her. It sounded calm and reassuring. "Let Bryony go search for her brother. Do not worry, she will be safe."
Fern opened her eyes and looked at Sister Lupine, Flupit, and Bryony. The hare's dizzy spell had passed, and she realized who had spoken the words she had just heard. Addressing the squirrelmaid, Fern said, "Bryony, you can go and look for your brother. You'll be fine."
Realizing that Lupine and Flupit didn't understand why Bryony should be allowed to go, Fern stood up and told them, "She will be fine. Martin the Warrior has said so."
OOC: There. I hope that took care of everything! ;D
As soon as the hare lady said Bryony could go, she left!! She smelled something good, so she went to see what it was. When she got the Kitchens, she asked for a pack of food. Then she went to that little house she saw by the gate to ask for a map.
OOC@Jukka Perfect!
BIC: Cien sat in the Gatehouse trying to get Old Gumdy to stop falling asleep, when suddenly Bryony walked through the door asking for a map. Cien smiled, "You feeling better then? And if you want a map you need to tell me what kind of map."
"What do you mean? I've never seen you before in my life!" She said, then "Can I have that map now?"
Cien was flabbergasted, how couldn't she know him, "Bryony, we were talking this morning, about Riftgard, we both are from there. But I left with my family when I was young to live at sea. Remember?"
OOC: Just wondering, shouldn't it be nearly evening now?
"How did you know I come from Riftgard?? Do I have to find a map myself??" Bryony said, a bit frustrated. That otter wouldn't give her her map!!!
OOC:@Jukka, yeah I think it's almost evening. :)
BIC: Cien stood up, "Look Bryony, I'm giving you no map until you come to your senses. And anyway, at least stay for dinner. It'll get dark in a few hours, and I'm not letting you go out there on your own."
"I really don't want to do this, since you seem like a nice person. But either you're crazy, or I am. I've never been here in my life, never seen you before, and last I checked, I didn't lose my senses. Sorry. I'm sure we could have been friends." Bryony said, then she whacked the otter with a book. A heavy book and hard. Then she got the map and left.
Cien was momentary stunned, but then he was up again, and furious. He threw down, Martin's sword, onto a chair, knowing that his temper could push him to use it, and stormed out of the Gatehouse. Bryony must be planning on going out of a wallgate, since the Maingate was to heavy for one beast to open alone. He caught sight of her, and stormed over.
Don't hit her, don't hit her. He repeated to himself in his mind. He knew how strong he was, and he didn't want to hurt anybody.
Bryony saw the otter coming towards her, so she quickly ran to the little gate and opened it, and ran out into the woods.
Cien muttered something, which would have earned him a whack from any beast who had heard him, and ran after Bryony.
He. Checked his belt to see if his dagger was on it, yes. He could over take Bryony, she wouldn't know where she was going if she couldn't even remember where she was.
Supper was just about to be served in Great Hall, but Abbess Fern wanted to talk to Cien and Gumdy about the mysterious writing. She hurried through Great Hall, intending to go to the Gatehouse for a quick talk with them before supper.
"Hey, Fern ol' gel, I haven't seen much of you today, wot!" Her husband Mycroft came hurrying over.
The Abbess looked up, smiling ruefully. "I know, I barely spoke to you! I'm sorry, I've been really busy with the auditions for the play, and then there was that ghost..."
Mycroft looked rather surprised. "Ghost? What are you bally well talkin' about, Fern?"
Fern patted his paw. "I'll tell you all about it at dinner. Right now I'm off to talk to Gumdy and Cien about some writing the ghost left on a door." She hurried off, leaving Mycroft standing there looking rather nonplussed.
Fern walked across the lawn towards the Gatehouse as the sun began to set. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the open wallgate, and ran toward it. "Hello? Anybeast out here?" After a moment Fern figured that Bryony had left Redwall through that gate, and the hare was about to close it, when she noticed something. A torn bit of fabric stuck on the gate hinge. She recognized it as a piece of Cien's tunic. Without hesitation the Abbess dashed out of the Abbey, following the trail left by Bryony and Cien.
Cien was slowly stroking Bryony. He had almost over taken her, his plan was to wrestle her to the ground, knock some sense into her if he needed to, and carry her back to the Abbey, and keep her there until morning.
Abbess Fern hurried along, following the trail left by Cien and Bryony. Cien must've tried to stop her leaving. I hope he doesn't hurt her. He wouldn't mean to, but he really has a temper sometimes. Quite suddenly, she caught sight of the otter warrior through the trees. Cupping her paws to her mouth, Fern yelled, "Cien! Cien, wait a minute!" She hurried towards him.
Cien muttered something else that would have earned him a good whack. What is the Abbess thinking?
"Cien!" She hurried up to him. "You're tracking Bryony, aren't you? Well, she's allowed to leave Redwall. She's going to find her brother."
Cien turned around, and growled, "Well she's completely out of her mind. And could use a good smack round the head to awake her up, from whatever dreamland she's living in." Cien then noticed that he was being rude, and that his old self was showing. "I'm sorry Abbess, I wasn't thinking."
Fern smiled and answered, "It's alright. I know you do try to keep your temper under control." She looked up at the sky, just beginning to streak with pink as the sun began to set. "Come on, let's go back to the Abbey for supper. Bryony will be just fine, Martin said so." She walked off, leading the way.
OOC: We really need Cornflower to post...

BIC: Cien looked one more time at Bryony, and then followed the Abbess saying, "I'm sorry Fern. I didn't hit. I promise. And I'm getting better at controlling my temper."
OOC: Jukka, I was wondering, when Cien came to Redwall, could he have had, Anger Issues. And the Abbess has been helping him with these issues. He'd probably have them because of the what he went through, when his family were killed. I was just wondering if you'd be alright with your part in my idea.
OOC: Sure, I'm fine with that.
OOC: Great! ;D
Fern and Cien entered the Abbey and hurried to Great Hall for supper. They were just in time. Fern seated herself at the head of the table, and everybeast quieted down expectantly. The Abbess said grace.
"Seasons of plenty,
days of peace
in Redwall, may they never cease.
Good comradeship,
long life and health:
our Abbey's precious wealth.
From winter's white
to summer's gold,
from spring to autumn, we uphold
these bounties
Mother Nature brings.
Respect her earth and living things."
Everybeast began eating. Except for Fern's husband Mycroft.
"Fern, what about that bally ghost you told me about, wot!"
Unfortunately he was a little loud, being rather anxious to find out about the whole matter. Quite a few Redwallers heard the hare. "A ghost? Where?" "Why didn't I hear about this?"
Fern stood up and waved her paws about for attention. "Please, everybeast. Now, I know a few of you heard something about a ghost before this. But it's probably nothing, just something some Dibbuns made up. There's no need for worry, and please just continue with supper." She sat down again, but there was still a general mutter going on. The Abbess shot a glance at Sister Lupine, obviously wanting her to reassure the Abbeydwellers.
OOC: Sorry, people!
BIC: Bryony heard someone yelling Cien!, and since that wasn't her, she kept going. Something told her to find a nice spot to sleep in for the night.
Sister Lupine smiled reasuringly, "It's okay everybody! the Abbess speaks the truth."

Cien was eating in silence, but he raised one eyebrow when hearing that the ghost wasn't real. "That mist writing I found on the wall, which then strangely disappeared in front of my eyes wasn't normal. But I'm guessing it wasn't the ghost though, since they don't exist." he muttered, everyone sitting next to him heard what he had said, and began to panic.
"Cien says he found ghost writing! There must be a ghost!"
"Cien's no Dibbun, Abbess, and he says there's a ghost!"
"There must be one then! Abbey Warriors don't lie!"
Suddenly Bryony tripped. Over what, she didn't know. Then it groaned. She lit a torch to look and gasped! It was Bryant! His right arm and paw were bloody, and she didn't know what do! She gnawed her lip....Maybe those mice could help! She picked him up with difficulty and struggled back th way she came.
OOC: WOW! That was fast! ;)
OOC: Yeah. I probably would have gotten bored otherwise! Just wanted things up in that department. ;)
OOC: yeah, now I'm wondering where's Bryant's been... ;)

BIC: Bryony slammed her fist against the main gates very hard several times, sobbing.She didn't know whether it was from happiness or fright, since Bryant's arm was still bleeding and he wasn't conshinse (Spelling?)

Old Gumdy the Gatehouse keeper, was disturbed from his sleep by somebeast pounding on the Maingate. "Now who can that be?"
The old hedgehog waddled out of the gatehouse, and over to the gate. "Who be there!" he called into the darkening night.
"Bryony the Traveler, a Friend!! I have an injured beast here! Please let me in! Bryant needs help!
Gumdy was a little flustered, "Um, I'll go, and get help, what did you say your name was again?"
"Bryony!! Please hurry! I don't know what to do!" Bryony sat on the road hugging Bryant's still form to her, trying to make it easier for him to breath.
Gumdy hurried toward the Abbey, "Brongy, no that's not right. Brunty, or was it Bigoty?"
Bryant groaned, he heard some crying. He was so tired.....
Gumdy came bursting into the Abbey shouting, "There's some injured beast at the gate, with someone else called, Buntiny!"
Cien jumped up from the table, "Bryony!?!"
"Yes that's the one!" Gumdy clapped his paws.
Abbess Fern had just been reassuring everybeast that there was no ghost, when Gumdy entered and spoke to Cien (who was sitting near Fern). The Abbess's ears shot up like spearpoints, and she stood up quickly. "Bryony? She's back? Oh, I hope something didn't go wrong!" She headed for the door.
When Bryony heard Bryant groan, she went frantic. "Bryant? BRYANT!! Talk to me! Stay alive! Hang on!"
Fern ran towards the main gate. She wasn't sure if Cien and Gumdy were following or not. Reaching the gate, she quickly opened it and was confronted with Bryony crouching by the still form of a bleeding squirrel.
Fern was immediately shocked and concerned. "Bryony! What's flippin' well going on?!" Then remembering the squirrelmaid's amnesia - "D'you know where you are?" (A stupid question under the circumstances, but Fern was actually beginning to panic as well. After all, Bryony hadn't been extremely well earlier, and now she'd showed up with an injured squirrel.)
Cien, and many other Redwallers ran after the Abbess, Cien was the first there though, and he went straight to the bleeding squirrel. "Don't worry, I'm just gonna check his plus." Cien reassured Bryony reaching out, and picking up the squirrel's arm. He felt where the plus should be, there was a plus, but it was terribly weak.
"Ok, someone get a stretcher, and someone go tell Sister Flupit to get her things together! Let's move come on!"
Bryony, in response to the Abbess, said, "I don't know where I am, but I tripped over him. He was like that when I found him. Please don't let him die!"
Two mice carrying a stretcher came running over shouting, "Clear the way! Make room!"
Bryony hesitated to let them put Bryant on the stretcher, holding on to him. "I'll carry him, if you don't mind," she said, standing up.
"No miss, he needs to be laid on his back. You can come along though, don't worry we won't hurt him." The mice said kindly.
"All-Alright." She said, her voice trembling. She walked along them, holding her brothers' hand.
Abbess Fern ran ahead to tell Sister Flupit to prepare for Bryant's arrival in the infirmary.
Bryant groaned again, and moved his head. Somewhere, he heard someone sobbing. He had to wake up, had to calm the silly beast down, before Munich killed the beast.....
The two mice carrying the stretcher arrived in the infirmary. Fern assisted in lifting Bryant and putting him on a bed. She was still extremely concerned about both the unknown squirrel and Bryony. The hare Abbess felt the squirrel's pulse again, then bustled around grabbing bandages and things, having some knowledge of healing.
Fern began to bandage his arm (with Sister Flupit's help), meanwhile talking soothingly to Bryony. "He's going to be just fine, don't worry!" Then it hit her. She couldn't believe she hadn't put it all together! The resemblance between Bryony and him, and the fact that she was so upset and holding his paw! Well, duh, Fern. You really must not have been thinking straight! "It's Bryant! Isn't it? This is - I mean, HE IS BRYANT!"
/Bryony nodded tearfully, "Yes, he's Bryant. It was horrible..I tripped over him! I'm such a terrible sister!!" Then she just started wailing.
Cien suddenly felt a stab of jealousy, I searched for seasons for my family, and she finds her's in a matter of hours. She even falls over him!
But he quickly pushed the feelings back down inside himself. He would be kind to Bryony, not get angry just because she had some family left.
"Ex-Exuse me. please." Bryony said, then ran out of the room. She hesitated, not knowing where she couild go. Then she remembered seeing an Orchard, so she decided to go there.

A mouse in armor appeared to Bryant and said, "It's time to wake up, don't you think? You certainly gave your sister a fright. Tell the Abbey dwellers that Bryony's amnesia will be quite temporary, and not to worry, all will be well soon." Bryant groaned and opened his eyes. "Can I have some water, please? And can you tell me where to find the Abbey dwellers? Some mouse told me to tell them that Bryony's amnesia will be quite temporary, and not to worry, all will be well soon. Is Bryony here? I-I haven't seen her in seasons." Then he stiffened. "Wait, where's Munich the rat? I don't want him to find Bryony too."
Cien who hadn't been really paying much heed to what had been happening, jumped visibly when Bryant suddenly started talking. "What the?"
Then he collected himself, and tried to pretend nothing had happened. "Um, I guess we're the Abbey dwellers. But these guys have been here longer than I have, so their the ones you need to talk to."
"Oh. Well, I said the message as best as I could remember. " He hesitated, wondering where Munich was. He'd been the only rat to get away....

Bryony decided to go see Bryant. When she opened the door she heard, "As I could remember." She walked in quickly. "Bryant! You're awake!"
"Yeah, and being weird." Cien grumbled before he could stop himself.

Sister Lupine shoved him, and went to fetch a jug of something for the squirrel to drink.
Bryant looked at the otter, wondering what was up with him?

Bryony glared at Cien and said, "Hey, you're the otter who wouldn't give me a map!" To Bryant, "Are you alright, besides your arm? Where did you go?!?!?"
Cien smirked, "Yeah, and your the crazy squirrel who has the rubbish memory. At least I can remember where I am."
"THAT IS IT!!!!!!!!!!" Snarling, Bryony leaped at Cien.

Bryant couldn't believe his eyes. Bryony, fighting? Struggling to get up, he yelled "Bryony! Wait! Stop!" When she didn't pay attention, he managed to get up and wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled.
Cien who wasn't feeling himself at all, the minute Bryony leapt at him, he lashed out with his fist. He had forgotten how strong he was. He made contact with her face!
Her head went flying backwards, her nose bleeding badly. Bryant also yelled, "THAT'S IT" He somehow lugged Bryony to a bed, and started walking toward the otter fastly. "What did you do that for? First you insult her then you break her nose? What did she do to you? If you're going to fight, don't fight a maid, COWARD!!"
Fern was shocked at the fight which broke out. She jumped up. "STOP THIS AT ONCE!" she yelled. "There will be no fighting in my Abbey!" She grabbed Bryant and pulled him towards a bed. "Bryant, please lie down. I'll take care of this."
Fern marched over to Cien. "Cien, you can blinkin' well leave the infirmary! I'll talk to you about this later! Bryony, we have to stop that nosebleed, let me take a look at it."
Bryony and Bryant replied at the same time. "Yes, Ma'am."
When Cien's fist had made contact with Bryony's face, Cien had had a sudden adrenaline rush. The sound of her nose breaking had been marvellous, and the sight of the blood brilliant.
Then suddenly he had come back down to earth just to be confronted by a wounded squirrel who looked like he was about to fall over dead!
Cien had sneered at his word's, and was ready for a fight. But then the Abbess had jumped in the way, Cien had felt hot rage as he was told to leave.
He did though, without a word, though he smirked at the sight of Bryony bleeding. He had flung the door open, and slammed it shut. Now what?

Sister Lupine had screamed as Cien had hit Bryony, but she had remained silent while the Abbess took charge. When Cien was gone, she rushed over to Bryony, "Oh dear! Are you alright? Here let me help."
"Thanks...OH!" Bryony suddenly remembered EVERYTHING. "Oh dear....OW!!!...I'm sorry, I had amnesia again, didn't I? Hey, watch it! That part's tender. It happens regularly. Um, I have something to confess...Ow...I hit Cien with a book in the Gate House. Maybe that's why he's so grumpy."

"You hit the grumpy otter with a book? No wonder he doesn't like you very much!" He laughed, then perked up."Hey, is that some water? May I have some, please?" Bryant asked. He was like that. Get into a fight, then afterwards act like nothing happened.
Cien thundered into his room, slamming the door shut so hard, it almost came off it's hinges.
What's happening to me?!?
He couldn't stop himself, he was hitting everything, the walls, the door, the furniture, everything!
images flashed before his eyes, no this wasn't happening!
"Why!" He groaned, sinking to the floor, "Why's this happening now!?!"
Red so much red, a sail, no three sails. Jeering faces, laughing ringing in his ears.
"Not the terror the sea we were expecting!" So one called.
Cien had broken out in a cold sweat. Why was he reacting so much now? He made managed two whole seasons without such issues. The writing!
Cien still had it, in his pocket, he grabbed it, and frantically began translating it. But how, everything just seemed to make sense. It read, Your discovered Blood Siren!
"NOOOOOO!" Cien screamed! How could this be? Who knew about him!?!
OOC:@Cornflower, Um Cornflower just wanted to say, that I think Bryony should be in more pain at the moment. Her nose might be broken.

BIC: Bryony, her nose not bleeding anymore, went off to apologize to Cien. When she was near his room, she heard him screaming, "NOOOO!!" She broke into a run, and saw three things really quickly.

A bit of paper he was clutching.She thought, "What a day...First, I see a ghost, which triggers my amnesia, then I go off from the Abbey (Hitting Cien with a book in the proceess) and trip over Bryant, then when I go to apologize I find this?? Well, it's obvious he needs the Infirmary. "Cien? Can you hear me? Come on, stand up! I need to get you to the Infirmary."
OOC: You know, guys, supper's still going on in Great Hall!
BIC: Abbess Fern returned to Great Hall and took her place at the head of the table. She knew Bryant would be just fine with Sister Flupit taking care of him, and she and the Sister had already tended to Bryony's nose - it wasn't broken, but was rather bruised and sore.
Fern heard the Redwallers whispering, and she announced, "Everybeast, the squirrel will be just fine. He's Bryony's brother, Bryant."
The Abbess took a bite of pastie, meanwhile thinking about Cien. I'll talk to him right after supper! He's got to get his temper under control!
Cien didn't here her, he was still screaming at the paper. Then suddenly he fell bent over double on the floor groaning, his wounds were hurting, it felt like they'd all opened up again, and someone had thrown sea water all over him, again. But the one that hurt the most, was the brand on his chest.
"The Weeping Skull! The Weeping Skull!" Cien groaned, he couldn't breathe. He gulped down air, but he couldn't get enough air into his lungs.
Pain. Pain, that was all he could think of. He couldn't see for the blindfold over his eyes.
There was a bloody stump where one of his ears used to be. All he could feel was fiery pain. Someone threw a bucket off water over him, sea water. It made it all worse. Cien cried out in pain, and he could hear jeering.
"Not the terror of the sea we were expecting!" Someone called.
"FIREWAVE!!!!" Cien found himself screaming the name.

Sister Lupine gently cared for Bryant, she was furious. That Cien. He needs to be taught a lesson. The Abbess won't do anything much, she just feels sorry for him. He just hit a maid! Oh, I'll find a way to get him, I will.
Bryant;s ears where quite sharp. "Do you hear someone screaming? I do. Then again, my ears are sharper than most."

Snap out of it, Cien! You're at Redwall Abbey, and Firewave, whoever that is, isn't here! Come on, you're coming with me by hook or by crook, even if it kills me." Saying that, Bryony started lifting him up. It was useless. She was strong, but that strong. "No more hotroot soup for you, fatty. I'll be right back." Leaving Cien, although she hated too, she ran to the Infirmary. "Sister Flupit! Cien's on his room's floor, screaming. I can't lift him up!"
Cien found himself groping around on the floor, trying to get up. He reached a wall, and pulled himself into a sitting position, he was still screaming the name, "FIREWAVE! SCARLET WHERE ARE YOU! FIREWAVE!"
Fire, everywhere, screaming, groaning. Cien had a sword in his paws. He was covered in blood, a lot of it, not his own. The captain of the Weeping Skull was hanging from the mast. His noose his own gutts. Cien laughed at his own handy work.
"That'll teach you to mess with a Seashadow!"
A rat came running screaming out of a burning cabin, Cien slashed him in half with his sword. Slaves down in the slave hold were screaming as the flames closed in.
Cien battled his way to the edge of the ship, there she was. Autumn Fair, being sailed by some more vermin coming to see what had happened to their flag ship. Cien launched himself on board as soon as he was close enough. He left no one alive.

Sister Flupit's eyes grew wide. "Oh no! Not again! This hasn't happened in at least a season! We must get to him before he hurts himself!"

Cien had a dagger in his paws. Fighting away enemies that only lived in his mind. Still screaming, "FIREWAVE! SCARLET COME OUT! IT'S TIME TO AVENGE THEM ALL! FIREWAVE, CALL UP THE BLOOD SIRENS! FIREWAVE!!!!"
Bryant said, "Well, I guess I better come too. Hey, where'd everyone go?" He stood up, walked outside the room, and put his ear to the floor. That way! He set off, occasionally putting his ear to the floor.
Sister Flupit hurried after them calling, "Be careful! Oh Bryant do be careful, your arms still wounded! I better go get some help. I'll go get Skipper!"

Cien had destroyed what was left of his room, but now he had begun to cut himself. He used the dagger to cut open his arm, and dipped his claws into the blood. "Firewave must come. It's time for battle, she must come."
"Me and Bryant will make sure he doesn't hurt himself too badly!! Bryant, listen too my footsteps and the screaming!!" Bryony shouted over her shoulder, running hard and fast. "Oh, nuts...He's already sliced open his arm!" She groaned, as Bryant came in the room. "So what exactly is up with him, Sis?" Bryant asked, an idea forming in his mind. "I don't really know. You have an idea, don't you?" Yes. I pretend I'm Firewave, whoever the nuts that is, and you get his knife!" "Alright, but if I hear you saying that again I'm boxing your ear. "Hey! You said it first. Anyway, what's his name?" Cien." Alright. CIEN! I've come. You dare to ask me to battle?"
Cien was still cutting his arm, deeper each time. When he heard someone claiming to be Firewave, he looked up, his eyes blazing.
There she stood in front of him. "Alright. CIEN! I've come. You dare to ask me to battle?"
He couldn't understand that, this wasn't Scarlet. "Where's Scarlet? What have you done to her vermin! Has she been slain like the others?" Not waiting for an answer, Cien without needing to take aim threw the dagger.

Sister Flupit, had hurried into Great Hall, not wanting to attract attention, she calmly walked up to Skipper. She didn't want everyone to know what was happening, not everybody knew about Cien's..."condition."
Skipper nodded, and whispered to a couple of his otter crew to come, and help him. He'd dealt with Cien before, and knew that there was something seriously wrong with his mind.
Bryony duccked, but the blade still cut off half her ear. "OW! YOU STUPID OTTER! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU?" Bryony screamed at him. Then she fainted dead away on the floor.

Bryant shook his head ewhen Bryony fainted: Now he'd have to deal with Mr. Grumpy on his own! He decided to try a different tactic. "Scarlet's fine, just fiiiine. Now, just lay down now, and try to lay still...Come on, big fellow....Scarlet's fine, but I do believe you chopped off half Bryony's ear, when you threw that knife of yours.... Easy now...." Bryant said, trying to get him to calm down by sweet-talking him. Hey, it had worked before, when he had seen a mouse do this....Just the mouse didn't freak out so bad. "Easy now, ya big Otter. Firewave's gone for now. You're in Redwall Abbey, and you're going to be just fine, so long as you don't find that knife again...
Easy now, Easy now.
It's fine, Just fine.
You're gonna be Alright. You're gonna be Alright..." Bryant said, singing in the end. Where was that Healer? He couldn't keep this up for much longer!
Cien was breathing hard, all was red, the beast who had pretended to be Scarlet had collapsed. But then he heard a voice, "Scarlet's fine, just fiiiine. Now, just lay down now, and try to lay still...Come on, big fellow....Scarlet's fine, but I do believe you chopped off half Bryony's ear, when you threw that knife of yours.... Easy now..."
What was this, was Scarlet really ok?
"Easy now, ya big Otter. Firewave's gone for now. You're in Redwall Abbey, and you're going to be just fine, so long as you don't find that knife again...

"Where is she?!?" Cien demanded, "Where's Scarlet!?!"

Sister Flupit, Skipper, and two of his otter Crew, hurried up to Cien's room.
"Is Cien on his own?" Skipper asked.
"No, Bryony, and that new squirrel Bryant, have gone to try calm him down." Sister Flupit replied.
Skipper looked grim, "Then, we better get there even faster."
They now began to run, Skipper reached the door first, or where the door used to be. He hurried into the room, his two otters behind him.

Cien had begun to calm down, but then someone else came into the room, Cien panicked, and threw half a broken glass at the new arrivals.

Skipper ducked the broken glass, but knew he had to act now. "Cien you need to calm down now!" He ordered.

Cien growled, and threw himself at Skipper, knocking him to the ground, and began to hit him.

Skipper couldn't get Cien off, even though he was much older, he wasn't as strong as him when he was like this. But it was alright, his two otter's dragged Cien off him, and pinned him to the ground.

Cien screamed at them, and managed to kick one, and hit the other with his rudder.

Skipper stood up, his nose was bleed as was a cut one his cheek, but apart from that he was fine.
OOC: The Abbess can't really do anything at the moment. :P Never fear, I haven't forgotten about this RP though! :P

BIC: Bryant walked up to the bigger otter and said, "Hey! I almost got him calmed down. Let me try again." He walked over to Cien. "Scarlet's coming to the Abbey, OK? I'm sure she'll be here soon. How about you calm down for her, OK?" He started singing again.
"Easy now, Easy now
It's Alright, it's Alright.
You're gonna be fine. You're gonna be fine.
It's all gonna go away soon, and it's gonna be fine..." He kept singing that over and over, since it had started to work last time. He paused for a moment, "Can you take a look at Bryony? I think he chopped off her ear."
"What!" Sister Flupit, exclaimed as she came into the room.

Cien was still having a hard time calming down. Someone had said Scarlet was coming, that almost scared Cien half to death. "She mustn't come," he groaned, he was beginning to black out, "They'll find her. Then it's death again for everyone."
Then he blacked out.
OOC: Hey Cornflower! Your not dead! ;) oh, and I was wondering, if we could work something out over PMs, about how we could link Cien's, and Bryant, and Bryony's pasts?
OOC: Sounds good! I'll go PM you when I'm finished checking my RPs.
BIC: "Well, he's blacked out, does that mean that he'll be back to his....normal self? Whatever that is.... And yes, Mr. Crazy Otter here flung his knife at Bryony, and she ducked, but she wasn't fast enough, and well..." Bryant said, first gesturing at Cien, then at Bryony on the floor.

"Ow.....I'm going to kill that stupid otter......My ear hurts.." Bryony groaned, sitting up.
OOC: I guess Abbess Fern might have heard a scuffle upstairs or something... :P (I really should make a 2nd character but I have no ideas)
BIC: Abbess Fern, having heard a commotion upstairs, slipped away quietly to investigate. When she reached Bryony, Flupit and the others, she was shocked. "What in the name of seasons has been going on here?!" She noticed Bryony had part of her ear taken off, and Cien was lying on the floor bleeding. "Have you two been fighting again?" she asked quickly, going to help Cien, who looked the most injured.
OOC: and Cien's room is totalled, and the door is off its hinges. ::)
BIC: Sister Lupine who had been waiting in the infirmary, had finally decided to go see if she could help. She grabbed a first aid bag as she left, just in case. When she reached the room, she was shocked, Cien had never ripped the door off it's hinges before!
"What....what....what...what happened?" She stammered.
Sister Flupit had been trying to explain, but started again for Lupine's benefit. "Cien had one of his...."anger attacks" he has completely destroyed his room, and hurt himself badly with a knife. Bryony, and Bryant, tried to calm him down, but Cien threw a knife at Bryony, it cut part her ear off. Bryant then sort of managed to calm Cien down. Then Skipper, and these two," She guestered to the two otters who were standing awkwardly, in a corner, "And myself, came, Cien then attacked Skipper, those two pulled him off, and he's blacked out. And then you came in Abbess."
"Exactly! Now, I'd like to know what's going on! What in the name of nuts was that?!?!?! Pardon my language, everyone." Bryony said, marching up to them, holding one of her tunic sleeves against her ear, and leaning on her brother, who was also leaning on her. "Um, Bryony? I really don't think you should say Nu- Hey! Fine, the N-word." Bryant said, since Bryony had almost boxed his ear.
Sister Flupit was about it explain again, when Skipper coughed loudly. His nose was still bleeding, and so was the cut on his cheek. Sister lupine quickly rummaged in the first aid bag she'd grabbed, and handed him a cloth. Skipper took it, and used it to stop the blood from his nose dripping on the floor. "I think we should continue this conversation, in the infirmary." Skipper surgessted.
"All right. Say, Sister Flupit? Can I have a cloth or something for my ear? My ex-sleeve is getting soaked with blood." Bryony said, looking at her sleeve. Bryant giggled. He couldn't help it. Bryony was using her pleading face.
Marshall the blueish fox was almost to redwall. The shrews had taken him from Salamandastron (He went to see the new badger lord, Sir Windblade the Swift) to redwall.
''Aye, I wonder if old Fern still abbess. I haven't seen her in 'bout four seasons!, well I'ope that that crazy seadog they call ''warrior'' still ain't there. Last time, he almost cut his arm off! Strange place that abbey. Anywho, maybe that have conscious squirrel, ahhh wattsherface is there bry-sometin or like that has made it there.

BIC: Sister Lupine handed Bryony a cloth as well.
"Ok, you two otters, get Cien to the infirmary, Abbess, would you come too please. Skipper come one, and you two." Sister Flupit, said pointing at Bryony, and Bryant.
"Thanks, Sister Lupine." Bryony said, then glanced at Bryant. "Ready?"
"Yup."
"Alright! And...Right, Left, right left! Got the rhythm?"
"Yes, Bryony."
"Off to the Infirmary!" Bryony said, and set off with her leaning on Bryant, And Bryant leaing on her. Theyd learned how to do that quite well.
They were followed by Skipper, his two otters carrying Cien, Sister Lupine, Sister Flupit, (and maybe the abbess, I don't want to PP)

Cunty had gone back to the gatehouse, he was just getting settled when he heard, KNOCK KNOCK. On the Maingate.
"Oh my, who else is gonna be out tonight. Hopefully not another bleeding squirrel!" Cunty mumbled to himself.
He walked out of the Gatehouse, and went over to the Maingate, "Whom be there!" He called.
Bryant decided to ask a question that had been bugging him. "Say, Bryony? What's your connection to old Crazy Face back there?"
"Bryant! Don't say things like that. He's just a friend. That I'm afraid I don't know much about."
"Oh. Well. So what have you been doing?"
"Looking for you."
"Ohhh.....Meet any handsome male squirrels?" And on they chattered, joking and teasing the way they used to, until they got to the Infirmary.
"Ok, now put him on the bed. Gently now." Sister Flupit ordered. "That's it, now you two go, Lupine, could you please see to Skipper, and Bryony. Then help me, Cien's arm is bleeding bad."
"Do you want some help, Ma'am? I know a little basic stuff about healing." Bryant asked, since he felt fine. A little hungry maybe, but he was used to that.
"Yes, grab me that roll of bandages over there, then fill that bowl with water, from that jug. There's a cloth next to the bowl, could you bring that too." Sister Flupit said, not looking up from what she was doing. Oh Cien you've really done it this time.

Sister Lupine fused about Skipper, and Bryony, cleaning their wounds, and dressing them.
Bryant brought the items quickly, manged not to spill the water even though he was carrying it with his bad arm. "Anything else, Sister? How bad is it? Me and Bryony tried, by pretending I was Firewave, whoever that is, Bryony was going to get the knife away from him.....Here, I'll hold this end for you......And then Cien flung his knife at Bryony... Why does he do this, Sister?" Bryant said in quiet voice.

Bryony had wanted Sister Lupine to treat Skipper first, but then realized that with half her ear gone, and a few scrapes she hadn't noticed she had gotten looking for Bryant, she was more injured, and had lost a bit more blood.
Sister Flupit made sure no one was looking, then said, "I think it has something to do with these."
She unbuttoned Cien's shirt. His chest was covered in horrible scares, deep, and vivid. But the thing that was most shocking was the brand over his heart. It was a skull, with fire coming out of its eyes. It had been branded on, using a red hot iron. "I think something very terrible happened to Cien, but he won't tell me. The first time I asked about this brand mark, he attacked me. All the timing screaming, Why did you do this to me, Firewave."

Sister Lupine had finished cleaning, and bandaging Bryony's ear. And Skipper's nose had stopped bleeding. "I think, you can go Skipper. Your not bleeding anymore, and I need to get to work on Bryony." Really, Lupine wanted to talk to Bryony alone.
OOC: I know it is evening
BIC: Why yes it is me, Marshall the Blue Fox! I am friend of your dear abbey. I wish to stay a season or two. Now let me in sire, for I need a shelta!
Cunty smiled, "Why, Marshell, we all thought you'd gone to Dark Forest you've been gone so long!" Cunty chuckled, opening the gate.
Bryant gasped, "Oh my nuts!! Oops, sorry Sister. The N-word just kinda came out...You know, he very faintly reminds me of an Otter who slave traded me..." Bryant said, starting to re button up the otter's shirt. He didn't even want to think about something like that, much less look at evidence.

""Owch!" Bryony said, wincing. She'd just discovered another scratch. "Sister, why am I getting the feeling that you want to talk to me?" She asked, looking at Sister Lupine.
Sister Flupit glanced at Bryant, curiously, "What do you mean?"
OOC: Just to say, Cornflower, Cien didn't have the scars, and brand mark, when he was still slave trading. Just so you know!
BIC: Sister Lupine nodded, "That's, because I do."
"Well, when Bryony and I got seperated, I was taken by the vermin. Well, to make long story short, I ended up on a slave ship after a few seasons. Well, the captain was an otter. He didn't have these scars, though, and I don't think his name was Cien."

''Hey, can I go up to the 'firmaery? Last season I was scoutin' with The Long Patrol and we were ambushed by a group 'o toads! One of um gave me a good scar on me arm. Ever since I left the shrews its been hurtin'.
Can ol' Sister Flupit take a look at it?
"Oh, I'm sure she can. Go right up. I'll go find the Abbess, and tell her, your here!" Cunty chuckled, and closed, the gate before going off to find the Abbess.
*Chuckles* ''AAHH, good ole' Cunty. Always helpin'.'
Marshall is about two swordblades to the infirmary.
''Why hello sista Flu- AAAHHH Its the Otta!
"Cien? Cien? Cien?"
The voice came from somewhere above, he was under the water, swimming it seemed. No, he was hiding. Was it a game?
"Cien, where are you? Come on, we'll miss the tide."
There she was, her back to him, he swam silently through the pool. He was right behind her. "RAAAARR!"
"Aggg! Cien get off me! You silly beast, don't ever do that again! No stop it, enough, no get off. Stop it, someone might see."
"Oh, come on. As if they don't know. You make it obvious enough."
"Hey! That's not fair, now stop it. The others are waiting."
"One kiss? Come on, just one."
"Fine, just one."
Sister Flupit turned around, surprised, "Marshall! What are you doing here? No never mind, someone help me keep him still. I need to finish stitching his arm up!"
"Scarlet, what are you doing? Stop it! No, I don't want to anymore! You said, you wouldn't make me! Stop it! Put the knife done. SCARLET!"
"SCARLET!!!!!!!!!!!" Cien sat bolt up right. He was breathing hard. Everything was blurred. The memory faded. The knife that he had cut himself with, disappeared. He was in the infirmary. "What?" He began, but Sister Flupit, pushed him back done onto his back.
"Easy, easy Cien. Lie down. Take it easy."
'' Is he alright? He kinda scared me there.''
''Here, give him some o' this stuff I got at ole' Sala. General Buckpaw said it would help anyone. Give it it try!
"Whoa! Easy there, buddy. Are you usually this.... Dangerous?" Bryant half-joked, picking himself of the floor. When Cien had sat up suddenly, he'd nailed Bryant in the side, knocking him over. Bryant wasn't hurt though, and Cien had got him in his good side.

Bryony also jumped. She whispered to Sister Lupine, "Can you meet me in my room later? I don't really want to ell you in front of Cien, and the fox." Bryony was a worrier, plain and simple. She thought thst if she repeated the scene from Cien's room, Cien might go back into that state. Louder, she said to the fox, "What's the matter? Scared of Cien?"
'' Why yes I am afraid of this 'Warrior'. Now if this bushy tailed nut job wants to call me a cowredly fox, fine I'll just leave this drink with you all and go talk to the dibbuns. GOOD NIGHT!
Cien was gasping, he couldn't breath. He was moaning, and clutching his chest, "Why Scarlet, why?"

Sister Flupit thanked Marshall, "I'll try it. He needs all the help he can get. And he is a warrior, I've seen 'im take down five weasels at the same time!" She took the bottle, and tried to make Cien drink it. He wouldn't he just kept moaning, and gasping. "Bryony, Bryant, could you please help me here." Sister Flupit, said in frustration.

Sister Lupine nodded, "Ok, I'll come when all this is over with."
"Alright." Bryony whisspere, then went over to Cien, Bryant, and Sister Flupit. "What do you want me to do?" She asked, looking at him. "Hmm....How one of opens his mouth, one of us gives that stuff to him, and one of us holds him down so he doesn't knock the bottle flying, and get smashed?" she suggested, looking at her partners.

"Good idea! Um......I guess I'll have to be one getting that stuff down his throat? I'm not exactly at full strength yet." Bryant said, looking at the bottle.
''I wonder where ol' Abbess Fern is? Hav' nt seen her in 4 seasons! She is probalbly taken care of her little uns. Ill ask her if she can have a small dorm.
Marshall was walking past the tapestry when all of a sodden a strong, yet gentle voice spoke to him.
''Marshall, go to the shrews, they will know about the otter''
AAHHH, who said that!
All of a sudden a white figure of a mouse appeared . It leaned over and gave him copper medallion in the shape of an ship. It had on it Autumn Fair.

But by the time he said that, the figure was gone. All that was there was the tapestry of Martin.

Sister Lupine walked over to watch, she could see Cien was mouthing something. She tried to follow what he was saying, but his mouth was moving too fast.

Faces, so many faces. They all flashed before him. Cien knew all of them by name. They were his crew, friends, and some of them, his brothers, and sister.

BIC: Marshall sneaked up onto the south wall. He tied his rope to a jagged stone, then slowly slid down. He put the copper piece into his bag then ran off into Mossflower Woods, not knowing what to expect.
OOC: I'll PM it to you.
"SHUT UP YA BIG LUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bryant shouted, losing his temper. "Oh, dash it!" He then groaned, glaring at Cein, since his shouting was starting to give him a headache. "Bryony, pretend to be this Scarlet for a minute, will you?"

Bryony glanced at her brother, getting a little alarmed. He was starting to grit his teeth, his cheeks were getting pink, and he was starting to sweat. All signs of temper! "Bryant..." she said, when he shouted. "Alright, Bryant. Let's hope this works." She took a breath, then, "Cien....It's me, Scarlet! Come on, calm down....Open your mouth, please!"
There she was, in front of him.
"Cien....It's me, Scarlet! Come on, calm down....Open your mouth, please!"
Two things rushed through Cien's mind. One was a feeling of fear, the want to just obey, just to forget what she had done. The second, raw hatred. The knowledge that she'd sold him, out. The whole crew out.
But then a mist rolled in, surrounding him. Cien looked around. A mouse in shining armour was walking up to him. "Cien, tell them. Let them help you." He said, almost pleading.
"Never! They'd kill me, if the knew!"
"Is that what you think of them? You have lived with them. You know they wouldn't!"
"Yes, they would! They'd hold a stupid counsel to decided what to do with me. Then they'd have me killed!"
"Then you deserve the pain you are suffering. You have a wound, that could be healed, but your choosing to let it kill you. Let the Redwallers, help. Wash away the poison that fills your veins!"
"I won't!"
"Then you shall carry my sword no more. Scarlet is on her way, take your anger out on her. Not the Redwallers."
Then he disappeared. Cien was left alone.
Cien stopped shouting, and went limp. His breathing returned to normal.
"Ooookay.......I'm thinking he has a messed up mind." Bryant said, looking at him. Again, that faint resemblance spooked him. Nah, it can't be! He's dead and long gone by now. Hopefully. I WISH!!! Huh, stupid beast probably just lives to spite everybeast...Mainly me. I swore to kill him, in front of his face after all.

Marshall was almost to River Moss by now. He was a very fast runner. It was about 2 AM when he reached the shrews.
''H-H-H, LOG-A-LOG!!
Log-A-Log came out from his tent.
''Why Marshall! Good te see ya! What brings you here at tis late hour?
''H-H-H, Martin, H-H, gave me this, H-H-H, needed shrews.
Marshall then gave Log-A-Log the copper ship medallion.
''Why, this looks like da ole badgers ship!
''Yes, H-H it does. Can you do somethin' bout it?
''Well, we don't usally go on big ships. But, one of us used to be a seashrew. His name is is Tripper, ill get im for ya!
Log-A-Log came back with a tall, tattooed plump little shrew.
''Aye, oim Trippa,
''Well Hi Ho there Tripper, im Marshall, now do you know anything bout this here medal?
''Aye! this here me ole ship worked on!
OOC: Gonff, does he mean, he worked on this ship. Cos he could have worked for Cien's parents when they were merchants.
BIC: Sister Flupit shook her head, "He is an odd one. But at least we can give him the drink now."

Sister Lupine decided to leave the infirmary. She wanted to check something.
She left the infirmary, and walked down the hall. She made her way to Cien's room. She walked in, avoiding the broken glass on the floor. Then Lupine saw something on the floor. A piece of paper. She walked over, and grimaced when she saw it had blood on it. But she did pick it up.
It was the paper from earlier, the one with the Loamscripe on it. Cien must have translated it because there were some words at the bottom. But they had been covered in blood.
Sister Lupine huffed, and put the paper in her habit pocket.
Bryony nodded "Ay, you're right, Sister. If you'll excuse me, I've something I need to do.:" With that, she slipped out of the room. On a hunch, she went to Cien's room. She had wanted to there anyway, to get that knife. "Sister Lupine? Do you want to go to my room now? Bryant should be busy for awhile."

After Bryony left, Bryant shook his head. "Grrr.........I just can't shake it loose. I wonder why he looks so much like HIM."
OOC: Cien has a very recognisable face. Mainly because of the gold stripe on his head. ;D
BIC: Lupine jumped at hearing another voice, "Oh, sure, um yes."

"Like who?" Sister Flupit asked, now a little worried.
''Well, I was a worker for they, we were justa little ole' mercan' ship. The Capn's I cant 'member there names, had a son. His name was I think Cien ir somtin like that.
He and Scarlet were always causin trouble.
When his parents were ill, everybody wanted Cien to be Cap'n!
We finnaly docked a few days later. I decied to leave the crew. and join a new ship, The WhiteWave
It had been at least 6 seasons since I last saw Cien.After a long day of tradin, we were going to go to PeaceIsland, to live there forever.
While we wera salin, A huge ship, torn up by other ships was just on the horizon. We kept sailin, but it kept following us.
We then turned around so we could see the ship and go back to land.
All I remember was is face and voice.
The otter, Cien, had scars, cuts, and those gold stripes, all over him. he looked like a like wretched searat ta me!
I knew it was him because the boat was me ole merchant ship. Before getting knocked out by a ole paddle I heard from the ship

I washed up 2 days later on the shore of ole Sala.
"Like Cap'n Blood Siren. At least, that's what his crew called him when he was around us. Funny, but they're the only two beasts I've ever seen with that gold stripe on their heads. Oh....I can still remember....The drummer, his cruel laugh...Ugh, it was horrible." Bryant said, looking at his wrists and rubbing them where the fur had only patchily grown back from the manacles.

BIC: Sister Flupit shrugged, "Well that is odd."

BIC: "Bring more wine!" Cien laughed.
He was still in his raiding gear, and was already tipsy. They just finished a raid, and we're celebrating a good week. Cien danced his way over to his chair, fine oak, with red satin lining. When his wine arrived, he admired himself in the goblet Covered in blue, and red plant dyes, he never had permanent tattoos. He had a big brass ear ring, in his right ear. Fish bone bracelets, and rudder ring. He was dressed in a black, and red kilt, with ferret skull buckle. He also had on black leather sea boots, with silver buttons.
"You look fine Blood Siren."
Cien turned, and noticed Scarlet, his first mate. "Well I guess so. Oh, send someone to get that squirrel lad, we picked up at Riftgard. I want to see what no food, has done to him."
"Of course, Blood Siren."
Cien slowly opened his eyes, and was faced with the very squirrel from his memory. He tried not to show any emotion, in case he should recognise him. "What happened?"
OOC: oh, well he was the oldest and most favorite

'' Why yes. He is the Redwall Warrior!''
''HAHAHAHA oh me boy good joke. now, ill be of to bed.
''No wait. I need ya. Cien keeps having these, well, panics. I need you to come with please!

''Fine let go. If we hurry, we can be there by dawn.

And so they went.
Scarlet looked at the high red, walls of Redwall Abbey. She had heard tales, and legends of this place, since she was a pup. And now, here she stood. Well, Seashadow, I'm here, so you better be.
She found a little wallgate, and managed to slid the bolt back. The door swung open. Scarlet looked around her. Everybody would be going to bed soon. She could hide here until then.
She looked down at the medallions around her neck, one a ship, with the words Autumn Fair on it. The other, an eye in a circle. The eye was crying blood. I wonder if he held on to his. Since only a few of us escaped, there are very few of these left.
OOC: Please no one find Scarlet yet. I want Cien to be the first to see her. :)
"Oh. My. Nuts." Bryant whispered, then sat down hard on the floor.. When Cien had been shouting, Bryant hadn't really been paying much attention his voice, his main objective to get him calmed down. He wasn't dressed in his fancy clothes, but the voice was the same. So was the stripe. "Excuse me, Ma'am. I think I might want to get out of here before I put my paws around that murdering, slaving otter's throat. Sorry, I know my language is bad, and I think that you might not see me again until after HE leaves." Bryant said, with a quiet, but very dangerous voice. With that, Bryant walked out of the room, seething. When he was out in the hall, he found a mouse to ask where Bryony's room was. When he found it, she wasn't there. He shrugged. He grabbed some of her spare traveling clothes because they were they same size, and wrote her a note saying that he was camping outside the walls, because someone from his past that he would kill if he didn't leave was here. Then he asked someone else to direct him to the Kitchens. He went down, got a pack of food, and went out the door that was across the Abbey from Scarlet, although he didn;'t know she was there.
OOC: rachel, is that OK?
''C-Come on Tripper! I can see the abbey. Having only stopped once, Tripper was very far behind.
''H-H-H-H, iom comin! Finally they reached redwall.
Go to the south wall, HURRY!
Tripper ran to the south wall.
Marshall stayed back. he had thought he had seen something at the wall gate. It was probably just a dibbun.
He hurrired to Tripper.
''Can you see the rope Tripper?
''Aye, do you want me to get it?
''Yes, grabhold!
Marshall dashed up the rope. When he got to the top, he looked down and saw the abbey pond.
Knowing that he would be in trouble for sneaking in a shrew, he yelled
''Can you climb a rope?''
''No sir io cant.''
''Alright, well hold on tight!!!
He tied the rope around his waste.

Marshall had jumped into the abbey pond with a rope on him!
H-H-H TRIPPER! WHERE ARE YOU
Coming out of the pond, Tripper yelled
''IOM FINE! JUST DRY ME OFF!
They both got out and dried off in the grass.
''Well, lets go get our little sneaky butts in a bed!
OOC: That's fine Cornflower.
BIC: Cien swore, Sister Flupit was shocked, and confused. Cien stood up, and looked around him. The whole room was moving. He then saw something out the window. And at that moment couldn't control his rage. "Scarlet."
He ran out the room, down the hall to his room, he didn't even glance at Bryony, and Sister Lupine. He just grabbed Martin's sword, and ran out again. He ran down the hall, down the stairs, into Great Hall, and out the front gate.
"Firewave!" He roared.

Scarlet heard him, so he was here, and had seen her. She hurried over to where the voice had come from.

Cien saw her, and charged at her, sword up raised. He swung it at Scarlet's head. She dodged, and drew her own sword. They fought across the lawns, and into the Orchard.
This wasn't the welcoming, Scarlet had been expecting, so he must know. In that case, he might just kill her.
Bryony was alarmed. "Uh....Maybe we should follow him...?"

Bryant faintly heard swords swinging together. He was curious, so he went back into the Abbey. "Grrr....AHH!! Not her too! Oh well, might as well stop them." He ran over to some rocks, and flung one, aiming for HER.
''Tripper come on, be very quiet.''
Then, Marshall and Tripper heard the yelling and fighting.
'Tripper heard in the distance someone yell ''COME HERE FIREWAVE!''
Tripper knew it was Cien. He dashed off to the sounds.
''TRIPPER! COME HERE!''
Marshall ran after Tripper.
By the time he got there, Tripper was slashing at there feet.
Cien was mad he swung at Tripper.
It was about to hit Tripper, when Marshall jumped and pushed Tripper out of the way.
''MOVE!''

Cien had chopped Marshall's tail clean off!

''Marshall! Hurry! get to the rocks!

BIC; Scarlet saw a rock come flying toward her, she dodged it, but received a slash from Cien. "Please, Cien stop! I'm only here to apologize!"

Cien didn't believe a word of it, but then he suddenly realised something.
"Cien," Martin had appeared, "Cien, she is here to deliver you into your enemies hand. You mustn't let her."
"No Martin. I know there's others waiting. If I don't go, they'll kill Redwallers. No matter what I was, or what I've done. I won't let them hurt the Redwallers. It seems that the only good deeds I ever did, have come back to haunt me, along with my bad deeds. Don't worry Martin, my life is a living hell anyway. I'll go."
Martin looked pained, he shook his head sadly, "Goodbye, warrior." Then he disappeared.

Scarlet ran forward, Cien had stopped trying to kill her. "Oh, Cien! Can you ever forgive me!"
No I can't. Cien thought, but he let her, hug him.
Bryant strode up, infuriated. "What is it with you otters! When I finally, FINALLY get to thinking that Oh, hey, maybe I'm safe now! YOU (He pointed his paw at Cien) show up! Well guess what, Blood Siren? I'M NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE!!! And then, I have to save you from yourself, even though I didn't realize it was you! And don't get me started on your mate here! She was almost worse than you! You know, it's no wonder you like each other so much! IF THESE ABBEY DWELLERS KNEW WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND COUNTLESS OTHER BEASTS!!! For all I care, Blood Siren, you can go die in a pit and save me the trouble!!!!!!" Bryant screamed at them, he didn't care any more. They'd probably recognized him already, there wasn't very many squirrel that were tan with nut brown bellies.
"Oh, if it isn't the little squirrel brat. How's your master been treating you." Scarlet taunted.
Cien thought about getting in the way, try to explain. But no, the Redwallers, had to hate him. He had to leave with Scarlet, whenever that was to be, so they wouldn't get hurt.
"Well, Scarlet, maybe we should put him on no food, and lock him in the hold." Cien sneered. Every word was like a flaming dagger in his heart, he had wished so much, that he could have found this squirrel. Freed him, like he had with so many others.
"I'M NOT YOUR SLAVE ANY MORE, BEAST!! IN FACT, NOW I WISH I HADN'T HELPED YOU!!!GRARRRR!!" With that, Bryant jumped at Cien. He didn't care that he had that sword, except...That sword just disappeared! He didn't care.
Cien punched Bryant to the ground. And Scarlet drew a dagger, and pressed it hard to Bryant's throat. "One move, and your dead!"
When Cien had punched Bryant, he'd hit his bad arm. "Go ahead and kill me, VERMIN! Go on! You'll live longer that way." he said, then spat at her.
Scarlet pressed harder, "With pleasure."
"Don't!" Cien ordered, "It'll only make a mess. And we're not on a ship. We cant just throw him over board, and grave digging is tiresome."
Scarlet obeyed, "Yes, Blood Siren." She kicked Bryant hard in the stomach, and turned to Cien. "I have returned to you Blood Siren. Please forgive my actions. I was young, I didn't understand what I had done until it was too late."
You understood the money well enough. And the drugging me, so I couldn't tell the crew we weren't going to be raiders anymore. "We were both young, but it doesn't matter." Cien turned, and looked at Bryant. Martin, please, please let them know, let him know. After I'm dead, that I tried to change. I tried, but I was in too deep. That when I tried to change my ways, it ended in the crew being mascaraed, and me insane.
"Well squirrel, I suppose your gonna go running to the Redwallers, and tell them everything."

Sister Lupine agreed, "Lets, and we better hurry. I think something's about to break."
Bryony called over her shoulder, "Meet ya there! Why do I have a feeling Bryant's in trouble?"

Bryant stood up, and snarled, "There's no way you're leaving. I'm really rather glad my sister hit you over the head with a book. She should have hit you harder. And if think I'm going to thank you for sparing my life, otter scum, you're wr0ong. And I'm not letting you leave." He went to the door and planted himself in it, with rocks.

Bryony gasped, she could barely see two otters, and someone on the ground. He got up, and walked over to the doorway and picked up rocks. "BRYANT!!!" She screamed, barreling through the otters. Funny, she'd never seen that one before. "What (Puff, puff) are you DOING?"
"Ask HIM, the scum."
"Don't throw that rock. It's against the Abbey Rules. If they want to leave, let them."
"Alright. Besides, Redwall would be better of without those two slavers." He moved.

BIC Marshall had passed out. Tripper knew nothing in the art of healing. He had been here once, but only for a day. He thought to himself," Aaahhhh what would Log-A-Log do!?
It was the middle of the night. He knew no one would be up. He looked up in the sky .
Then it hit him . THE BELLS!!!
OOC: Gonff, if the shrew had been there before, shouldn't he know that there is an Abbess or Abbot? And there is two squirrels and two otters there, ya know. Just a thoiught. I do like the Creativity.
Scarlet laughed, "Oh my dear squirrel, your too kind. How could we ever get past you. Two highly skilled raiders, against a wounded slave, the odds are terrifying!"
Cien looked at Bryony, and Sister Lupine who had just joined her. He smirked, "Its all happening today isn't it?"

"Raiders? Slave? Whats going on?" Sister Lupine shouted. Then she saw, that this new seat otter was bleed, she saw blood on the grass, and two swords just dumped. And then a shrew, next to an unconscious bleeding fox. She ran over, "What happened?"
''HIS TAIL WAS CHOPPED OFF BY A MAD BEAST! I MUST GO, LOOK AFTER HIM!
Tripper ran as fast as he could to the bells.
He was not the fastest shrew nor the lightest. But he ran.
By the time he got there, he saw the staires that went up. He was very winded, but tried to make it up.
He saw the ropes. H e grabbed them then pulled down as hard as he could and whispered
''Martin, help us ALL''!
BOOM BONG BOOM BONG
"Oh, so I'm a mad beast now? Your the one who got in the way shrew!" Cien sneered, he hadn't recognised he shrew yet.
Scarlet covered her ears as the bells were being toiled, so did Cien, and Sister Lupine.
Bryant couldn't take it anymore, he flung a rock. "Sister, meet Blood Siren. Slaver, and master of cruelty. Meet Scarlet. His mate. Slaver."
The bells had woken up many of the beasts in redwall.
The bells had also made Marshall come back to consciousness.
''Well hey there Sister Lupune! Why is there so much b-bblod!!!!
''ME TAIL!''
Bryant finally collapsed, everything had been too much for the poor squirrel. He hadn't really stopped since he'd woken up in the Infirmary. The otter Laughing, dressed in his finery......Refusing to oar, no matter how many lashes he took....So cold, OH SO COLD!!!! Then, a mouse. Bryant. I need you to get up, and find my sword....Cien has issues, remember that. He's struggling. the sword...is with Cien still, get up before it's too late! He groaned, and stood up. He gave a flying leap, spotted the sword at the back of Cien's belt! It had slipped! He reached...... OOC: And that is as far as I'll go for now, simply because I don't think Cien OR Scarlet would be standing there like stuffed dummies.
BIC: Bryony screamed, What is he DOING?!?!?!?!? "BRYANT!!"
OOC: when is this RP going to end?
BIC: Tripper was out of breath.
He made it back to Marshall, but was not feeling good.
''TRIPPER! Who cut off me tail!
''H-H-H-H-H-H otter, H-H-H bells, H-H-H-H, ship.
''Tripper passed out. but in his hand was the medallion.
''NO TRIPPER! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PASS OUT!!!''
Marshall then saw Bryant grabbing the sword. He saw the blood on the sword. He saw the scars on their feet.''
''Ill help ya squirrel!''
Marshall got up and got the medallion out o Trippers hands.
He swung it.

It hit Cien straight in the back!
OOC: One, Bryant's REACHING for the sword. Two, you're PPing again! How about you say he SWUNG it at Cien's back?

OOC: Don't worry, its fine, but you didn't give me a chance for Cien, or Scarlet to react. And the RP will end, when it ends. RPs don't really have a stopping point, I guess they end when there's nothing else that can be done.
BIC: Scarlet dodged the rock, and drew her sword, but before she could do anything, the squirrel had lunged at Cien.
Oh, no you don't! I need him alive! Or I'm done for, he's the only one who knows where the plans are!
Cien was slow to react, everything was just happening to fast. He could feel those same violent rages creeping up on him. But he couldn't let them control, him. It would end in death for a lot of innocent beasts. Then suddenly Cien felt a crashing pain in his back. He'd been hit by something hard. He fell to his knees.
Scarlet lashed out at Bryant, she kicked savagely at his face. Hoping to bring him down.

Sister Lupine was screaming, she couldn't help it. She hated violence, she always had since her father had been murdered, and her mother taken away. She had been hidden, so the vermin hadn't found her.
But now, it was different, it seemed, Bryant was accusing Cien, and this new otter, of being slavers. But then again, the new otter had said it herself.
"Oh my dear squirrel, your too kind. How could we ever get past you. Two highly skilled raiders, against a wounded slave, the odds are terrifying!"
Bryant's paw grabbed the sword hilt, and then Scarlet hit him in the face. HE kept hold of the sword, and went flying backwards. He landed in front of the wallgate, and didn't get up, holding onto the sword. It was the only thing he think of to do.

Bryony screeched, "YOU KILLED MY BABY BROTHER!!!!!!!! AAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' running at the otter, a death glint in her eyes. She had two arrows in her boots, kept there in case of emergencies. She had them in her paws, still screaming.
Marshall had seen it all before at Salamandastron.
The fear in Sister Lupine's eyes.
The anger in Bryony's eyes.
The endurance in Bryant's eyes.
The pride in Scarlet's eyes.
The pain in Cein's eyes.
He ran to Tripper.

''Theres no time! Take my dagger and go far infront of Cein and Scarlet! Hurry!
Tripper ran off once more.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bryony held the arrows so that the points were facing forward. She threw one, while switching the other to her right paw.
Marshall saw the horrible seen unvale before him.
Bryant on the ground, Cein on his knees, Bryony in the air, Redwallers looking out their windows.
Marshall, for once, did not know what to do.
Scarlet had seen Bryony coming she had tried to get out of the way, but she wasn't in time. The arrow hit her in the arm. It was nothing compared to what she had been through, but it annoyed her more than anything. She brought her sword up, to slash Bryony's throat.
Cien saw what she was doing, he leapt up, and tackled her to the ground. In the same movement he drew Scarlet's dagger from her belt, and twisted round, and struck out at Bryony with his foot. "ENOUGH!" He shouted. He held the dagger at Scarlet's throat, "Never try to kill one of these beasts. They would hang us both from the nearest tree. Now I don't know about you, but I didn't survive being tortured, and branded, just to be killed because of you. It wouldn't be the first time I've suffered because of you, but it's not gonna happen!" He growled.
Scarlet was terrified, she couldn't help it, Cien could be ruthless. She had seen him gut a searat who had simply stolen from him. He may have been out of action for a long time, and he may have changed sides, but he was still Cien Seashadow. Former Captain of a dangerous raider's ship, and then rebel, and outlaw. And now warrior.
Tripper had been waiting for a signal. He had gotten worried when he saw what Cien had done.
He looked not far from him to still see Bryant holding the sword.
He walked and knelt by him.
''Aye mate, are ya hurt?''
Sister Lupine ran over to Cien shouting, "Don't! Put the dagger down Cien, PLEASE!"
She was worried, if Cien would harm himself with a dagger, what would he do to someone else!

Cien heard the desperateness in the good Sister's voice. With contempt he could hardly hide, he let go of Scarlet, and stood up. "Fine." He growled, throwing the dagger away from him.
Bryony could only see Scarlet. When Cien kicked her, she felt nothing. When the dagger was thrown into her path, she stopped and picked up. She flung her other arrow, Her only instinct was to get to Bryant's killer.

BIC: Bryant could only hold onto the sword, that was the only thing......."You've done well, squirrel." He heard, then he sank even deeper into the blackness.....
Tripper saw that the squirrel was passed out.
''MOUSE, COME OVER HERE! THE SQUIRREL IS PASSED OUT!''
Marshall heard Tripper yelling.
''Come on Sista, lets get to Bryant!''
Scarlet had just stood up, when another arrow went whizzing past her. "Cien, if you want me to leave her alone. Stop her trying to kill me!"

Cien agreed, and walked over to Bryony. If she tried anything, he'd teach her a lesson she wouldn't forget. She couldn't be any worse than her brother had been back in his raiding days.

Sister Lupine was worried, but she could now see Redwallers running out of the Abbey doors. She saw Skipper, and a few of his otters, and felt better. If there was anymore trouble, Skipper would sort it out. "Ok, where is he?"
Bryony snarled, clawing at Cien. She had the dagger and sliced at his arm. She then tried to dodge past him, trying to get to Scarlet.
OOC: Oh, duh! I was going to PM you my plan!
Marshall and Sister Lupine made over to Bryant and Tripper.

Well, Cien grew up on a merchant ship, his parents adopted some orphans (they were otters) one of them was Scarlet. Scarlet, and Cien fell into a sort of love. Anyway, she started to control a lot of what happened on board Autumn Fair mainly because Cien, was in charge of a lot, because his parents were ill. When his parents died, everyone wanted him to be Captain, but they didn't want to be merchants anymore. So Scarlet got the idea into Cien's head that they should become raiders. Cien agreed with the idea. They became raiders, and slave traders, and made quite a few enemies. Then one day, Cien raided a ship that belonged to a very powerful vermin, who owned an island. (Riftgard) He (the vermin) then hired a bounty hunter to capture Cien, and bring him to him. The bounty hunter was captain of a ship called, The Weeping Skull. Him, his crew, and a few other ships belonging to the powerful vermin ruler, attacked Cien's ship, and killed almost everyone, any left alive, were taken as slaves, on the powerful vermin's ships, who sailed ahead, back to Riftgard. Cien managed to get free, after suffering some terrible injures, that sent him quite insane. He destroyed The Weeping Skull by setting fire to it. He then sailed off in Autumn Fair in search of Scarlet, but everywhere he went creatures tried to capture him. He then ended up at Salamanderstron, made up some story about being attacked my searats, and sold Autumn Fair to the badgerlord, and travelled up to Redwall. Where he's lived ever since.
Scarlet is not his wife, but was his first mate on board
Autumn Fair. She is now here in search of something Cien stole from the powerful vermin ruler. She also sold Cien out, and the rest of the crew on
Autumn Fair for money, because Cien told her he didn't want them to be raiders anymore. If that made no sense, or if you have any questions, just PM me. :)
BIC: Cien slapped Bryony hard across the face, and tried to throw her to the ground.

BIC: Scarlet knew she had to get away with Cien fast. Redwallers were now everywhere, she didn't want to stick around for questioning. "Cien, leave her, and lets get out of here!" She shouted desperately.

"No, but he's hurt bad, we must get him up to the infirmary! Someone please, help. Bryant is hurt!" Sister Lupine yelled at the confused Redwallers.

BIC: Bryony seemed to be/was stronger than Cien in her rage, so still screaming, used Cien's push (OOC: Don't exactly know how, but lets remember she's rather...Angry, to put it mildly. Angry people are always stronger and crazier.) to jump up past his shoulders and use that to jimp over him. She landed, and raced toward Scarlet.
OOC: I'm thinking Scarlet should be rather scared of this squirrel out for revenge.
BIC: Cold, blackness....Just cold blackness.... Need to get up, need to get up...Then the mouse! "It's not your time to die, young Abbey Warrior. Stand in for Cien, but beware the lady; She'll try to stop Cien from coming back.....Rest well, and stay strong. Oh, and don't go after your sister. She has a rather....Big, you could say, role to play." Warm blackness now, after the mouse. He smiled, it was like home again.
Cien landed on his back, he looked up to see Skipper, and some of his otters striding purposefully towards him. Time to leave I think.
Scarlet had drawn her sword, she was a little scared, but she also had an old confidence. She had defeated mightier foes than this mad squirrel.
OOC: I'd say this is gonna be a fair fight.

Two mice were carrying Bryant up to the infirmary, Sister Lupine followed them fretting, what was going on out on the lawn?

Cien rolled over, and got up, looking for an escape route. One of the wall gates was open. "Scarlet leave her! Quick!"
He then set off running. He could see Skipper, and his otters coming after him out of the corner of his eye.
"Cien stop now!" Skipper yelled, but there was no chance of that.

Scarlet heard Cien, and knew he was right, she spat at Bryony, then raced after Cien.
Bryony ran after the two otters, silent now, but still out for revenge. She thought one of Skipper's otters tried to stop her, and grab her shoulder, but she just pummeled him and broke free. She ran out the wallgate, just thinking, Gotta get revenge. Gotta get revenge. Gotta get revenge. My baby brother! She screamed, "I'll get you if it's the last thing I do! Don't fall asleep at night, otter! I just might slip a a blade between your ribs! A life for a life!"

Bryant opened his eyes, then closed them again. It was too bright. The sword! Where is it? Gotta get it! "Where's the sword?" he croahed, struggling to sit up.
Fern and Mycroft couldn't help but be awakened with all the commotion. The bells ringing, Redwallers hurrying around... Fern pulled her habit on over her nightgown and raced downstairs, with Mycroft following sleepily.
Fortunately the moon had risen. Dashing outside, Fern saw Skipper and several otters over by an open wallgate. "What in the flippin' name of seasons is goin' on here?!" she shouted.
Bryant groaned again. "Can I have some water, too, please?"

Bryony hurried back into the Abbey, and got her bow and arrows, along with her dagger, so she had two daggers. She ran back out, having payed no attention to the other things in her room. She jostled Abbess Fern, (OOC: That alright? BIC:) but didn't stop. She ran back out the wallgate and knelt down, looking for tracks.
Tripper had gone with Bryant to the infirmary , but Marshall had kept going on the chase with skipper.
"Aye skipper! Which way do ya think they will be goin?
Sister Lupine had delivered Bryant to Sister Flupit, who was a little grumpy about being woken, and then Lupine ran back down stairs just in time to hear the Abbess ask, "What in the flippin' name of seasons is goin' on here?!"
"I'm not sure Fern. Cien was in the infirmary, when suddenly he saw something, grabbed Martin's sword, and ran outside, and attacked this sea ottermaid. She obviously knew him, and he knew her, he called her Scarlet. But then they stopped fighting, but Bryant then accused them of being slave traders. And attacked the ottermaid, I'm not sure what happened next. But Bryant is hurt up in the infirmary, and Cien, and Scarlet have done a runner, with Bryony, and Skipper, and a shrew after them." Lupine gasped for breath.

Cien ran for his life, with Scarlet hot on his heals. They raced through Mossflower, they didn't stop till they reached a river. "I have a small camp up stream. If we swim up to it, then they won't be able to follow us." Scarlet gasped.
"Fine." Cien dived into the water, and Scarlet dived in after him, and they swam away up river.

"I don't know were Martin's sword is Bryant, but you can have a drink." Sister Flupit grumbled, bringing a jug of water over to the bed, where Bryant had been placed.
Log-A-Log and the Guosim were on their way in the river to.
"Aye, what are those two brown things in the watea?
"I don't know Ragget, AYE SLOW IT DOWN!
The shrews stopped and loaded slings.
"No, no! I got to get the sword! Martin, Martin told me to get it, and keep it.....Where is it?!"

Bryony saw the track of the otters going to into the river. "Nuts!" she cursed, then she went into the river and looked for tracks like rudder marks against the bank, or- "Aha! Overturned pebbles....This way!."
"Stopit you fools!" Cien shouted, he had been coming up for air, when he saw the Guosim getting ready to fire. "Can't an otter swim in a river without being slain?"
Scarlet came up next to Cien, "Why are we stopping? We have to get to the camp, and get going again."

Sister Flupit threw her paws in the air, "I don't know where it is, but I'll ask somebeast to get it, but first let me take a look at that arm!"
OOC: Um Cornflower, I doubt there would be rudder marks. The dove into a river, and we're swimming up stream. And they would have been swimming near the centre of the river.
Marshall was running with Skipper and his crew.
They had just made it to the river.

That hurt!--Thought I was dead, then there's no stopping her, unless she hears word, or sees me, alive. It's a thing of honor, you see. Well, I suppose the world is better off without those two. They're the ones who--Hey!-- were slavers." Bryant sighed, puzzled by the triangle.
OOC: Yeah, sure. And I've done something similar when on holiday in Canada. :D
"Hey, you have no right, now go away!" Cien shouted back, and a moment later, him, and Scarlet were off up stream.

And Bryony thinks your dead, and therefor will try to kill them, but if she does she'll have to die by the hands of whatever family those two have left. Well I will say one thing, Cien has no family, and I doubt that other one will."

BIC: They had finally arrived at Scarlet's camp. Cien pulled himself out of the water, and shook himself. Scarlet began to quickly pack her things, but then she walked over to Cien carrying a bundle of stuff. "I kept all this, it's all yours." She said, handing it over to Cien.
Cien looked at it with surprise, his old jacket, belt, scabbard, and sword. He pulled the dark blue jacket on gratefully, and put the belt on. He had had the belt made for him personally. It was made of the finest black southern leather, and the buckle, was fine silver, in the shape of an eye, crying blood. It was his symbol, Blood Siren.

Sister Flupit shook her head, "I just don't understand, Cien always seemed odd, and I was sure there was something wrong with his head. But him, a slaver? He was always so gentle with the Dibbuns, he never harmed a hair on their dear little heads."

He looked out the window, drawn into his worry about Bryony.

It's the middle of the night, somebeast rings the bells, a strange ottermaid shows up, you, Bryant, attack her, saying she and Cien are slave traders...what's going on?"
Sister Flupit shook her head sadly at the sight of the scars, but she had no time to say something, because just then the Abbess came running in, "What's happened? Cien looked into her cruel eyes, he knew her to well to be drawn in, but he had to pretend to. "Scarlet, I, well." His voice trailed off, "Let's just get going."
"That'ds because the one you call Cien and that ottermaid, Scarlet, WERE slave traders....Only, I knew Cien as Blood Siren. Have you seen Martin's sword?" Bryant said quietly, looking at Abbess Fern with an expression of shame and anger in his eyes.
Scarlet nodded, "Ok, let's travel by land to the River Moss. Then we can swim across, and get going again."
"Fine," Cien replied, and set off in that direction.
Bryony stumbled again, but this time couldn't catch her balacne in time. She popped back up and decided to get on the bank.
Rigut and his ten shrews were now on land.
''Hey Hutip! wat is that comin' on the bank?
''Oi don't know but we should be gettin' out o' the way!
Marshall was speeding down the side of the bank.
''SHREWS!! OUT OF THE WAY!!!!''

Sister Lupine had gone looking around the grounds, she remembered Bryant muttering something about Martin's sword. She saw the moonlight glint of something metallic. "Gottya!"
She picked it up, and ran off to the infirmary.

Cien found himself wading through the River Moss. They couldn't swim, because they had to keep the packs dry. but the water was getting deep, Cien had to keep his arms high above his head, "Scarlet, if it gets any deeper, your head's gonna go under!"
"I'll manage, we just need to get acrossssssss!"
Scarlet screamed as her legs were swept away from under her. She was off down the river.
Cien rolled his eyes, as she swam to the bank. "Told ya! Now I'm carrying our only packs!"
"MARTIN'S SWORD!! Er, sorry. Thank you, ma'am!" Bryany cried gleefully, but then remembered his manners. He sighed. "I suppose you want an explanation? I may repeat some information you've heard,. but bear with me. Now, those two otters were slave traders, only I Cien was Blood Siren then. Well, I was foolish enough to be caught by them. Long story short there, I was traded, escaped, was captured by vermin. Cycle would repeat every few seasons. Now, Bryony wasn't caught, and I didn't know what had happened to her. I'd sworn to kill Cien, because he was cruel then. I don't know if he is now, but he was to all the young creatures he made row and traded. And that sea otter was with him then, and they apparently had something going, f you know what I mean. And you won't be seeing Bryony for awhile, by the way. Riftgard, where we were born, had a few squirrel tribes roaming about. One of the laws was, 'If some beast kills another, the family of the killed one has rights to revenge the killed one's killer.' And usually, the killed one's family, -in my case, Bryony- will send someone to hunt the other beast down. And they won't returbn until the killer is dead. So, unless Bryony hears that I'm alive, she won't stop until she kills Scarlet. And likely Cien too, if she believes Cien helped Scarlet. It's complicated."

Bryony immediately grabbed the collar of the shrew who had spoken. "Where? I need to find those otters, and so help me, I'm NOT going to be held up by a stupid shrew! Now, WHICH WAY DID THEY GO!?!?!"

Fern gasped. Now she was really worried by Bryant's story. Worried about Bryony, and Cien, who had usually been a pretty nice guy, when he wasn't angry, that is. And now she didn't know what to even think about the otter. Was he totally evil?
Just then Mycroft entered the infirmary. "What on earth is bally well goin' on?"
"Cien's run off with an ottermaid he knows, who just showed up, she and him were both slave traders, the new squirrel Bryant's been injured again, Bryony's gone off to kill the ottermaid, and possibly Cien, and Skipper and some otters have gone off too, and... and... I don't know what to do!"
Mycroft nodded sympathetically. "You jolly well don't have to do anything, Fern. You're the Abbess, and have your Abbey to look after. I'm certain Skipper and his crew will find them, wot!"
Fern smiled, then looked up, noticing a shrew in a cot across the room. She'd never seen him before. "Uh, hello. I don't think I've met you."
OOC: Fern doesn't know Marshall and Tripper were was there too. Oh, and anybody can PP Mycroft if they want, 'cause after all he's not one of my official characters.

Sister Lupine sat down on the end of Bryant's bed, "I just don't know what to think anymore." She buried her head in her paws.

Cien knew exactly what she meant, she wanted to know about what he had stolen that day. Curse those plans. Why didn't I just burn them?

Bryony released the shrew at once and pounded her way down the river bank. She screeched, "I'LL HAVE YOU YET, YOU MURDERER!!" It was an eerie sound, made more so when she started half laughing, half sobbing.
"Did you hear that?" Cein turned, alert.
"Time to be moving again." Scarlet announced, and took one of the packs Cien had been carrying, and set off.
Bryony's paws were pounding the river bank, hard and fast. She saw something up ahead that looked as it it might MIGHT, have been used as a camp. She stopped and looked. Sure enough, damp paw prints oin a rock. She stood up and started running again.
Cien, and Scarlet ran through the woods. Desperate not to be captured. "Where are we going!" Cien shouted.
"Away from here!" Scarlet replied.
Marshall had gone back to the shrews and helped them up and started to follow Bryony.
''Come on! I can see her!''
Bryony started running even faster, she could see a indistinct shape of ahead. She hoped it was that ottermaid.
As they were running, Cien's foot caught in a root, and he went tumbling down a hill. Scarlet then slipped on some wet moss, and came rolling down behind him.
The shapes that were rapidly turning into otters fell down. Bryony put on a burst of speed, and caught up to hem. "Now, miss. I'll make this quick and painless, or slow and painful. I'm sure you understand the fact I have to kill you, since you killed Bryant. Which is it to be?"
Marshall and the shrews were hot on her trail.
They could see her just a little ways.
Scarlet looked at Bryony, then sighed, "I highly doubt he's dead, and I'll take neither. Blood Siren!"
Cien had got up, and drawn his sword, he pointed it at Bryony, "You get away from here Bryony, your brothers probably just hurt, now go before I do something I'll regret."
Scarlet had also stood up, and drawn her sword. "I suggest you heed his advise, it's two against one, and I don't care how skilled you are. I doubt you were running a successful slaving, and raiding ship, by the time you were sixteen."

Unless I see him, I'm not going to back off. He looked dead to me, and you pay for it, and he gets to rest in peace. So, what's it to be? I kill you now, or later after letting you run? It doesn't matter to me. I won't stop until I die. Huh, and I thought you-"(Pointing to Cien) -"were actually a nice friend. Great wat to repay a body, isn't it?" Bryony said, all the time keeping her eyes on both of the otters.

Marshall slowly walked towards her.

Scarlet swung her sword at Bryony's throat, and Cien swung his at her legs.

"Oh great. I hope he'll be alright." Fern recalled the Abbeydwellers who'd been awakened and were outside, wondering what was going on. She rushed downstairs and outside. Seeing several Redwallers, she called, "Everybeast back to bed now! There's nothing much to worry about! You'll find out all about it in the morning!"
Most of the Redwallers went back inside with a little reassurance from Fern.
OOC: Eh, nothing much exciting happening back at Redwall. :P Wow, the rest of what's happening (with Cien and everything) is epic, though! ;D
OOC: ;D unfortunately, it's running a bit slow, cos me, and Cornflower need each other to post, but we are never on when the other is.
OOC: Yes, except for a few days here and there. Oh, stupid time zones!
BIC: Bryony jumped backwards, and nocked an arrow to her bow, which she'd never bothered unstringing last time she'd used it. She aimed her arrow at Scarlet's throat and shoot the arrow.
OOC: It can miss, because there's almost always a breeze near water, and Bryony's madder than a crawling cricket.
Marshall was getting mad. Why did the Squirrel have to do this?
''BRYONY! GET BACK NOW!
Than the shrew Rigut had an idea.
''Hutler! take 4 of ya an go behind the ottas! hurry!
Bryony merely snarled. She wasn't going to back off until those otters were dead! Or she was, in which case she had plans to haunt them.
Cien had guest what Bryony was going to do when she took out her bow. Although he would love to see Scarlet dead, he couldn't let her die. Not if he wanted to save Redwall. And anyway, maybe when this nasty business was done, he could kill Scarlet himself.
Cien leap forward, and tackled Scarlet to the ground. The arrow thudded into Cien's shoulder, and as he rolled the shaft snapped, but the arrow head was still in his shoulder.
Bryony nocked two arrows to her bow and said, "Get up. I'm not going kill a beast who's lying on the ground. Get up!"
Hutler and the shrews were in place.
If the fight got to hard for her, they would help.
Marshall cried out,'' BRYONY! STOP THIS MADNESS!''
"No." Just one little spoken word, but full of anger and bitterness, of guilt and sadness.
As Cien rolled, his head cracked against a rock. He blanked out instantly.
Scarlet landed near him, when she saw blood trickling from a gash in Cien's head, she grasped an opportunity, and shrieked at Marshall. "She's killed him! That monsters killed him! He never did anything to her! MURDERER!" She pointed a figure at Bryony, although she very well knew that Cien wasn't dead, and that he himself was a murderer, but the others only had Bryony, and her brother's word for it. But they had seen Bryony fire an arrow at her. It would all work in her favour.
Marshall was in Bloodrath.
Bryony fighting Scarlet, Cien, The shrews, everything. he could not contain it.
He jumped on Scarlet had raised his axe.
He pulled it down as fast as he can.
Scarlet punched at Marshall, trying to get him off her. She was screaming at the shrews, "Do something you fools!!!"
Bryony grabbed Marshall and tried her hardest to pull him off Scarlet. "She's mine. Oh, and Miss Otter? I know he's not dead. I've hit myself harder oin the head, and I'm still livin' "
Daggers everywhere. Making a pathway, Cien was running down it, every time his paw touched the daggers, he felt a searing pain. But he couldn't get away from them. He saw a tree made from swords, and tried climbing it, but that was just worse. Then he fell out of the tree, and onto the daggers. Cien screamed as the cut through him.
Cien slowly began to wake. He didn't move, he just lay there. Then he opened his eyes, slowly. Bryony was doing something to the fox, and Scarlet was being attacked by the fox. He slowly reached for his dagger, he got hold of it, when he had a thought, Martin, please don't let Bryony kill Scarlet. She would be dooming the entire Abbey. Please stop her, knock her out or something, just stop her!
OOC: There just happens to be a tree over there.... ;)
BIC: Bryony yanked on Marshall's shoulder extra hard, but lost her balance and stumbled, stepping backwards and letting go of Marshall's shoulder, and naturally tripping. Crack! Her head hit the tree, and she fell, and blacked out. But right before she did, a mouse appeared, dressed in armor with a sword. "Sorry, but it's for your and the Abbey's good. OH, and Cien just might be struggling with something, but he's still on your side."
When Rigut had heard Scarlets remark he said,'' No You are the one who caused all o' this. You marm, should die!''
OOC:What should I do next?
OOC: Um, could you play along to what happens next?
BIC: "Ok, put your paws up!" A voice shouted from somewhere in the foliage, "Your surrounded, and we've got shafts pointing your way, so don't try anything! Just let the otters go, and nobody gets hurt!"
Cien had sat up, he knew Scarlet would have a group with her. And now they had intervened. He swallowed hard, he knew he didn't have long to live.
Scarlet tried to push Marshall off her, "Get off, or they kill you all, got it?"
Marshall got off of Scarlet.
''SHOW YA SELVES NOW! OR I WILL ATTACK!''
Arrows fired from out of the foliage, just missing Marshall, the shrews, and Bryony. "Next time, we shoot to kill! Now hand over the male otter, and let the female go free!"
Scarlet stood up, a smug look on her face. Cien had stood up now, he walked over to Scarlet. "So here it ends." He handed over his weapons, Scarlet looked confused, "What are you doing?"
"Your all here for me, I'm not stupid." Cien said, rather dismissively.
Scarlet looked a little troubled, but then pointed to the other side of the clearing they'd landed in. "Let's go, then. Blood Siren."
Hutler was scared. he saw things moving but could not make out what they were.
He walked over to Rigut.
''Do ya thing we should attack mate?''
''Ya lets see what these ottas do first.''
Scarlet, and Cien walked over to the side of the clearing. Cien only looked back once, then watched was a chain was thrown down to Scarlet from the trees. She then chained his hands together, and locked it round his neck. She tugged on the end of the chain, "Let's get going then."
LOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!!!
The shrews and Marshall attacked Scarlet and the people in the trees!
OOC: Um, Gonff. You can't see the guys in the trees. Could you edit your post, or I'll have to kill all your guys, cos there's shafts all aimed at them, and I really don't want to.
OOC: is anyone still playing?
OOC: I am, but there's not much I can do, seeing as Bryony's knocked out against a tree, and Jukka isn't posting, so I can't play as Bryant.
Marshall saw rains of arrows coming out of the trees.
He felt a stinging sensation in his shoulder and foot.
Everything went black.
OOC:All o the shrews exept two died
OOC: Well, I didn't want to do it, but it seems you did it for me. poor shrews. :-\
BIC: Cien looked away as the slaughter took place. The terrible screams, of dying, and wounded beasts filled his ears. It was then, he wondered if Bryony had been hit, she wouldn't have even been able to defend herself.
When the killing was done, a muscular weasel accompanied by several ferrets, minks, stoats, and two rats, climbed out of the tree.
"Well, you blow the whole plan out of the water by doing that!" Scarlet snarled at him.
The weasel shrugged, "It was that, or fail the mission, which would end in our heads rolling. We'll just have to get the information out of him, my way." He smiled nastily.
Marshall could see a white room.
He saw a figure standing in front of him.
''Marshall, come near.''
He walked very slowly towards the figure.
''I have brought you here for a reason.''
''Why?..''
''The your friends are in trouble and need some kind of help. Bryony is out, and so are you. Wake now and follow my directions.''
''Alright, Martin.''
Marshall suddenly woke up.
Scarlet, Cien, and the vermin group had left the clearing. They had hurried off into Mossflower. Cien was being dragged along on the chain, the problem was, it was quite a long chain, and it dragged on the ground, and Cien kept getting his footpaw's tangled in it. Which resulted in him falling flat on his face.
OOC: I found a song which really suits Scarlet, and Cien.

OOC: YES!! Can I hlp it if my power goes out because of snow, ice, and sleet? NO!
BIC: Bryony groaned, and stirred. She opened her eyes, and was horrified by what she saw. All of the shrews, except maybe two, and Marshall maybe, were dead! She scrambled to her feet, and saw that Cien and Scarlet were gone. "AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" She screamed, then set off toward the bushes where something had dragged. She moved quickly, and her ears perked when she very, very faintly heard someone.
Marshall heard Bryony.
''Hey, squirrel, help me up and me mated will ya!''
The group had now reached the River Moss, where two boast were moored. Cien, and Scarlet sat in the second boat.
They didn't go that far down stream, then they went a shore again, where a camp was set up.
"Now, Blood Siren, if that's what you still call yourself, we're gonna ask you a few questions, and your gonna answer them all truthfully. Cos if I even think your lying to me, I will make life for you really painful. Got it?" The weasel leader , who's name was Xarr, snarled.
Cien didn't say anything, he simply gave Scarlet a look of pure loathing, and then was dragged off, and tied to a large wooden pole, at the side of the camp.
After the Redwallers had returned inside, Fern hurried back to the infirmary to ask Bryant some more questions. She rushed into the infirmary without even pausing to knock.
"Bryant! Where do you think Cien and Scarlet are headed?"
"Maybe the sea? I don't know; I haven't been with them for seasons." Bryant said, then gave her a look. "I suppose you've sent out scouts to find them and my sister?"

Bryony growled, then said, "Alright, here you go. Go back to the Abbey; There isn't any reason for you to stay and get killed." Then was off after helping the fox and shrew up. She walked very quickly, and found the spot where Cien tripped quickly, then she continued straight, running.
"I - not exactly," Fern confessed. "Skipper and some otters went after them." She felt so incompetent. It was in times like these she wondered why she'd been chosen as Abbess.
"They're doomed." ?Bryant stated. "If my sister doesn't want to be found, which will happen after a bit, then no one except me can find her. But I'm in no condition to go looking, and she's a fast runner."
''No, im not leaving! Im stayin right here and followin' you missy! What those two have done is unforgiveable. I must help you!''

"Oh great. Oh great. Oh great," Fern repeated over and over. Mycroft, who'd stayed in the infirmary when his wife had run outside, came over. "Fern, don't worry."
"I can't help it!" she replied in agitation. This is an absolute nightmare. I mean, am I dreaming all this? This whole thing is crazy. And I can't do anything about it. I can't. I'm the Abbess. What's gonna happen to Bryony, Cien, Marshall? I - I... what in the bloomin' name of seasons is gonna happen? Fern forced herself to calm down. She shrugged resignedly and stifled a yawn. "I think I'll go back to bed. We can figure out what to do in the morning." She smiled half-heartedly and left the infirmary.
OOC: Should the RP skip to morning soon? Just wondering.
OOC: Yeah I think it would be best to skip to morning now. The night is basically over anyway.
BIC: Sister Lupine, who had gone to bed only a few hours ago, yawned, and sat up in bed. Although she was tired, she was also worried. The minute it was morning, she was up, and dressed, and on her way to Great Hall. Where a large assembly of Redwallers were waiting to find out what had actually happened the night before.
Bryony yawned. After she'd helped the shrew and fox, she'd ran ahead. She'd stopped when she saw the place where some had tripped, and decided to stay the night there. She sat up and stretched, then stood up and started running again. It was tiring, but that was how it was going to be until the otters where dead. Well, I might let Cien go...Maybe. He IS a nice person, after all...And that other otter did seem to be semi-forcing him. Wait, didn't Martin say something last night? SOmething about Cien going agaisnt his will...Huh. She reflected, then ran straight into a rat. She drew her dagger and dispatched him while barely breaking stride, then saw River Moss. She saw signs that a boat, no, two boats, had been pushed offshore, and started running down the bank.

Bryant was awke, but lounging in his bed, thinking.
Cien was in pain. That was all he could think of, his body was on fire with pain.
Last night he had been interrogated, it wasn't an experience he wanted to do again. Although he knew he would have to until he gave in. But he had already decided. He would never, ever, tell them where those cursed plans were. Not ever!
Bryony saw a spot in the distance, it might be a boat. Or a tree. Probably a tree.
Scarlet, and Xarr walked over to where Cien was tied.
Cien looked up at them through bruised eyes, his entire body was covered in bruises, and cuts. A stream of dried blood stained his golden striped head.
"I'm only gonna ask you once. Where are the plans?" Xarr hissed.
Cien shrugged as best he could laying on the ground. "What plans? The plans to build a shed, the plans to build a boat, the plans to bui-"
Xarr kicked him savagely in the stomach. "The plans to build the battle ship, that Razzid Wearat had! The supper ship that could go on land, an' water! The plans to build a second Greenshroud!"
As soon as Fern woke up she remembered the previous night's events. She noticed that Mycroft had already awakened. Probably eating breakfast. Fern put on her habit and hurried downstairs. Stepping into the kitchens for a moment to get some breakfast, she found Mycroft seated at a table, tucking in to a bowl of oatmeal.
He nodded at her. "G'morning!"
"Good morning!" Fern replied, a little absently. "Any news of Skipper and the ottercrew?"
"Not a bally thing. Everybeast's in Great Hall, wonderin' what's goin' on."
Fern hurried out to speak to the Redwallers.
"Alright. Now I know you're all wondering what happened last night. Well..." she sighed. "Cien has left the Abbey with an ottermaid that showed up. The new squirrel Bryant, Bryony's brother, is injured, but not seriously, and so is a shrew named Tripper. Some of you may remember the fox named Marshall that visited here several seasons ago. He was here last night, but went after Cien and the ottermaid. Bryony did too, 'cause she thought Bryant had been killed by the ottermaid. And Skipper and some otters have gone after the whole lot." She waited for the Redwallers' reaction. It wasn't long in coming.
"What? How'd this ottermaid even get inside?"
"And why'd she hurt the squirrel, Bryant?"
"Is Cien on her side?"
"Please, don't worry! Skipper and his crew will get Bryony and Cien and Marshall back here, I'm sure!" Fern spoke with false confidence. She just had to reassure everybeast for the time being.
Bryony ran past the thing she'd seen, and it was a tree. Yay me. Hunter of trees. BRyony thought, then squinted. Is that another tree? No, trees don't walk. She started running even faster, then veered off into the undergrowth, planning to come at them run the side.
Sister Lupine decided to ask something. She'd been wondering, and worrying over it all night, "What if they don't come back. What if something happens to them. What then?"

Cien spat at Xarr's feet, his saliva was red from where he'd bit his tongue, "I'll never tell a scum like you, the whereabouts of such information. I'd rather die."
"Then you'll die then!" Xarr shouted.
"No, don't give him the satisfaction of death. Everybeast has a weakness. All we must do is find Cien's." Scarlet whispered into Xarr's ear.
OOC: Okay, I finally have time to post!
BIC: Bryony came through the undergrowth noiselessly in time to see the ottermaid whisper into a weasel's ear. Wait, why is Cien tied up? Oh, who cares. I'll get him later. She charged, dagger held high, toward the otter and rat.
OOC: he's a weasel, and the camp is full with other vermin just to warn ye.
BIC: Scarlet heard something, and turned round just in time to see Bryony. "Get her! Quick, someone grab her!!!!"
Bryony neatly tripped the rat who came after and killed him quickly, then faced Scarlet again."One-on-one. You and me. Now." She said, glaring at the ottermaid.
"I don't think so." Scarlet smiled, and nodded to a group of vermin with loaded bows. "Surrender, or die." She said sweetly, a smug smile on her face.
BRyony riolled her eyes. "That's just dirty. Oh, and I'll be back!" She said, just as sweetly. then ran off she ran into the woods then abruptly changed direction, making sure that if they fired, then it would be where they THOUGHT she was. And, hey, maybe she could use their own weapons against them. And she could always pick them off one by one, or few by few.
OOC: sorry for not posting!
Bic: Marshall and the shrews had been following Bryony for a while. After she had ran off, they chased after her.
OOC: *Ahem* Run off, not Ran off.
Scarlet swore, "If this squirrel isn't got rid of soon, we're gonna have a whole host of trouble. We better break camp, there might be others following her. We should head back to the ship, we can sail off up the coast a bit, and see what information we can get out Cien on the way. When he tells us, and he will, as I said everybeast has their limits. Then we will come back, and get the plans, and then head back for Riftgard." She whispered into Xarr's ear.
Xarr nodded agreement. "Yes, we better go now."
He then barked out some orders to the vermin group, and they began to break camp.
OOC: Since everyone else is doing it, I think I shall. I'm gonna make a part two for this RP, so please stop posting here now. I'll ask a mod to move this, and if you want to continue on in the RP, please post in the OOC thread.
