Post by: belle on March 06, 2018, 08:29:10 PM
What the heck is wrong with them?!

Lol.

Brian loved making them mischievous. However, some of them are outright terrors and need a good spanking.

Older dibbuns like Mattimeo are fine.

BUT THE BABIES?

I agree, Belle, there is something wrong with them. ...This is coming from someone who doesn't like babies at all.

Heh, I LOVE babies and even I find most Dibbuns insufferable.

I think they're pretty entertaining for the most part! Come out with some funny things.

Who was the dibbun in Bellmaker, who hangs out with Skipper?

There was no Skipper at Redwall in that book. There were a couple that hung around Finnbarr Galedeep.

In my opinion, the worst dibbun of all has to be 'Dwopple' in 'Marlfox'

I like most of the dibbuns, but I agree with the statement that a few of them have to be spanked. I often wonder how any Dibbun could grow into a good, respectable Abbey member..... and I've wondered if they get to change their names once they grow up, because seriously: Brother Dwopple? Think about it!
However, their adventures are part of what make Redwall seem more like a home than a big sandstone building in some made-up forest. You know?
