I have never participated in something so big, but I have played a couple of smaller games and hosted one or two :)

Hi guys!
I'm the person organizing the tournament. I'm very happy to see that there is interest.
I thought I'd clarify a few things to hopefully make the decision easier for you.
Your representative can completely decide these things:
- Whether the game has American or European friendly deadlines.
- Whether the game should start April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17
- Whether the game should have 12-hour/12-hour day and night phases, or 36/12, 48/24 or 72/24
And the game isn't one big game with 187 representatives in it. Rather, it consists of 11 qualifier games, each with 17 representatives. Your champion would be playing in just one of these qualifier games. If they do well enough, they might then advance to a wildcard game or even the finale game.

As someone else mentioned, you should be prepared for 500-600 posts per 24 hours for the first few days. Realistically, you'd need to be able to dedicate at least a couple of hours to the game every day, and it's best if you're able to check in at various times throughout the day, so you don't ever fall too much behind on things.
I can promise two things: It's gonna be one hell of a culture shock, but if you have the time and energy for it, it should also be a LOT of fun. And you definitely won't be alone; A majority of the participating communities have games that end with less than 200 posts total, so playing a game that will end up with a few thousand posts can seem quite intimidating :D

I'm always interested in contests, I shall nominate myself. I have very flexible time and would be able to play for at least two to three hours a day.

Hi, I came here from the Champs game cause I thought there was actually a dedicated The Werewolf Game presence here.
It looks like that isn't the case, but I'm more than happy to help start one if there's enough interest. I've been playing since 2013 and have decent experience hosting.

I dunno if y'all have been following the game or not, but I've been watching it pretty closely and thought I'd update the general forum instead of just Rosie, Tumbler, and Chip. :P
At the moment, Nadaz's game is in the night 2 phase and he's still in. He almost got voted out in Day 1 but a Town was voted out instead. There were no kills Night 1, and another Town was voted out in Day 2. N2 ends in two hours and I'll let y'all know what happens.
EDIT: Didn't wanna double post but Nadaz survived the night! Two more Town were killed, however.

We've played a few games, and actually have one on hold right now. The DM has a lot of schoolwork so it's chilling for now. We don't have that many players so just do one game at a time. :)

Some of the members and I can help you get the ball rolling to see if there's interest (we have a certain spot on the forum for games, this would fit right in)
If there are already werewolf games being run I would love to join in. I just didn't see any as typically werewolf has its own child board/separate board from forum games. If there aren't any games already I would be happy to make a thread in the forum games board asking for signups, since it would probably be foolish to make a board for something that may not necessarily have interest
I just enjoy playing in new places and I loved reading Brian jaques in middle-high school so I wanted to play here haha

I would be interested in playing, but I know absolutely nothing {not exaggerating} about it. You could probably make a thread in Cavern Hole explaining it, put the sign up in Forum Games, and you could probably put the actual game in The Orchard/Forum Games.

After the first game (a clean streak for us mafia!) we voted for the best players the first choice advanced directly to the finals and the second went to one wildcard games, after this process is repeated in all of the first round games (some of which haven't even started yet) the judges will pick enough players to fill the remaining wildcard spots. This process repeats itself after the wildcard games and the finals spots will be filled, and the final winner is determined by player votes. At the moment I am waiting to see whether the judges will pick me to advance to wildcards or not. The whole competition will be over by September? I think.
