I believe you are referring to the mustelidae family, or just the weasel family. This involves weasels, otters, badgers, wolverines, ferrets, ermine and minks. Mongooses, pole cats and meerkats are close relatives. Yeah, I know quite a lot about animals. Well, more specific groups of animals, not as much animals in general (although I still know more than the average person in animals in general). Animals are one of my "topics of interest".

Pondicherry? never heard about it. I heard about THIS book from Bryan Davis at a writers convention (It's private information :P :-X)
BRYAN DAVIS?!?!?! YOU'VE MET BRIAN DAVIS?!?!?!?! I love his books so much!

I have to read tears of a dragon and then I finish Raising Dragons... Then it's on to Oracles of fire! The last book is the size of a large brick! I'm not kidding it's HUGE!!! :o Bryan Davis besides being a good writer is also a pretty good speaker. Dan Schneider wrote scripts for iCarly, Victorious, Zoey 101, and The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon.
Luke benward is cute! ...what you said random! And yes that is a fact!
iCarly facts (I typed them last night)
Miranda Cosgrove plays Carly on iCarly and Jennette Mccurdy plays Sam, Carly's sarcastic and tomboyish sidekick (and co-star of the web show).
Miranda had roles on Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 before landing the role of Carly
Sam is a tomboy but in the iCarly episode I was a pageant girl from season three, Sam reveals that she was in a few pageants when she was younger. Sam also revealed that her mom forced her to do those. Also, Sam shows her girly side in the episodes I make Sam girlier and I was a pageant girl. Sam started to wear more jewelry as the series progressed. (Season 4 and onward.)
I make Sam girlier is the first time Sam is shown having straight hair.
Sam frequently teases and picks on Freddie in most of the iCarly episodes. Even though they can get on each other's nerves, It's suspected that they have a slight crush on each other. The romantic pairing between them is called Seddie. This pairing is rivaled by Creddie (Carly and Freddie) and Cam (the friendship pairing between Carly and Sam.) Sam and Freddie's first kiss is in the episode I kiss. The two dated for a short time from the episodes I lost my mind to I love you.
in the episode I lost my mind, Sam checks herself into a mental hospital, thinking that she's crazy for liking Freddie. (they kissed again in the episode iomg) so Carly, Freddie, and Spencer have to come up with a plan to get her out so they can do iCarly.
pear pads are used and shown on iCarly. Pear is a parody of the apple electronics company.
Nathan Kress guest starred on an episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
In the first iCarly TV movie special, I go to Japan (season two) the cast didn't actually go to Japan. Dan Schneider and the other script writers built the set to look like the country.
iCarly is watched by many adults as well as kids and Tweens.
The series theme song is called Leave it all to me, and Miranda Cosgrove sings it.
Spencer Shay (Jerry Trainor) is Carly's guardian because her parents are overseas. Carly's parents have been mentioned, but not seen.)
iCarly is sometimes compared to Disney Channel's Hannah Montana.
The series was originally going to be called I sam, but Dan and the other writers thought that iCarly had a better ring to it and that Sam should be the best friend of Carly. The role of Sam was written specifically for Jennette.
Other co stars on the show include Noah Munck (Gibby Gibson) and Reed Alexander (Nevel Papperman, Carly's web show nemesis.)
Carly, Sam, and Freddie did a parody of Twilight, called Moonlight Twi blood.
In the episode I got a hot room, Carly's bedroom burns down because of the gummy bears Spencer put on her bedside lamp. Sam, Freddie, and Spencer pitch in to help remodel Carly's room.
I sell penny tees is an episode dedicated to penny tees, t-shirts shown on iCarly with funny sayings (most often corny and not making any sense.) Carly and Sam started wearing them in the start of season two.)
iCarly is one of the few teen shows to show a lot of blood on occasion. In the episode I go Nuclear, Fredddie's finger squirts blood all over the counter top.
Jennette Mccurdy will be returning to Nickelodeon to film the new series Sam and Cat, with Victorious star Ariana Grande.

So do echidnas, they're called monotremes. They're the only two in the world. :)
I know, they're almost not mammals!
Not really "random" since it follows from the above fact, but koalas are not bears ... they're marsupials, just like kangaroos. Also like kangaroos, koalas have a pounch where the baby sleeps and eats milk, and they often have two babies at the same time - a large one riding on the mum's back and a tiny one in the pouch.
A new fossil of an extinct species of koala was recently found and given the official classification name of Litokoala dicksmithi in honour of one of Australia's leading business men (D i c k Smith, who started the D i c k Smith electronics stores in Australia and New Zealand - similar to America's Radio Shack). [The silly auto-censor means I had to separate the letter's in his first name. ::)]

Oops, I thought this was Random Facts about you....:p
Yay for this topic! I'm stuffed full of random trivia.
Did you know... The name of Alexander the Great's horse was Bucephalus, which means "ox-head". Also, I believe that Napoleon Bonaparte had a horse by the same name at some point.
I did know that. Did you know that Bucephalus was incredibly difficult to train and no one could work out why but then Alexander realized it was scared of its own shadow?
¡Buenes Tardes Senor's + Senorita's!
Fun fact! After two weeks, I finally got my friends to play Numenera.
One of them is playing as a mutant with an extra elbow and a malformed brain. He turned blue.
It was so much fun! :D

Yes I did! ;D He grew very close to that horse, and they went through many battles together.
Roughly 1/3 of your feces is dead bacteria.
Wow, I really needed to know that now. ^^^ ::)
Put all of the 100 trillion helpful bacteria's weights together you get three pounds, and that's only in your small intestine.

Really? I don't remember that. I should watch Nemesis again.
The clone of Picard was built with temporary RNA sequencing, so that when activated he would age significantly and skip 30 years of his life. Also, Remans are minorly telepathic.
Really? You have Romulans AND Remans? I hope they're at least slightly wolflike
Romulus and Remus were children of Mars (The Roman god of war)

I believe they're called Romulans because their government is very ancient Rome-like. Senators and such.

But their planets are called Romulus and Remus and they refer to it as such so that would imply that they had never heard of Rome, since that is their name for the planets, it would make sense if they were always referred to by that name.

I absolutely love it :D. Just got from a short run, in fact. (There. Now ya'll know my hobby.)
Oh . . . Well I am fine with almost all forms of excessive except for running. I just can't stand it.
My brother is OBSESSED with running.
;D
I don't see how people do that.
I don't do a lot of physical activity, running a lot tends to hurt.
I'm very good at running, but it's just so boring. I far prefer basically any other sport. A couple of my friends are obsessive cross-country runners, and I just don't get it..
That is one of my problems - Way to boring. I love running while playing manhunt or our version of the Hunger Games we play but I hate it otherwise.
Random and fun fact: Legolas is awesome.
Tauriel should not be in the Hobbit and the relationship between her and Kili is stupid. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Check out the marry an online character topic Del ;)
Random fact: I just finished writing a 10 minute speech.
I've already checked it out and considered it twice, but it's just weird...

IT'S AWESOME ;D ;D ;D
Seriously though. You don't want to be around me if I haven't run for a few days. I get really cranky and jittery if I don't get some guaranteed alone time outdoors working off some extra energy.
Not-so-random fun fact? Runners have some weird lingo. A hypothetical sample: "I'm deviating from Jack Daniels' plan a little bit while I build my base. I'm still doing a lot of LSD, but I'm incorporating fartlek instead of strides."
LSD? You know that's illegal, right? ;D
I'm impressed, you didn't even mention the Jack Daniels and fartlek ;D
Jack Daniels: an über-coach, and completely unrelated to the alcohol
Fartlek: Swedish term meaning "speed play"
Base: basic, easier training that prepares a runner for harder workouts later
Strides: short, relaxed sprints
LSD: Long Slow Distance
So, do you run barefoot style, Mhera? My brother runs barefoot style, even has these special zero drop running shoes. He groans every time he sees a heel striker.
Technically, nothing anyone has said on this thread has been random. 'Random' means unpredictable. As in you literally cannot predict the outcome, given every single variable going in to it.

No, because after he posted that he probably expected someone to stick a fact in here that's unrelated to the previous ones, thus making your random fact not random but expected. Also your comment "random enough for you?" wasn't random at all due to its relation to his post.

Having been a Titanic geek a while ago, I beg to differ. The last smokestack on the Titanic was to balance out the weight. And yes, I realize this post was made a really really long time ago.
