so what is it like? is it an opportunity at the end of their world to see a collection of warriors rally for a final battle?

at the gates of the dark forest there is no battle, its where warlike good ceatures go, mainly badgers

im not sure of that though, sometimes they threaten to send the vermin to the gates of dark forest...

I have wonder about that also because in the first few books there was black forest and then it switched to something else (curse my brain for not remembering!) and was not mentioned again.
