Redwall Abbey has been destroyed by barbarians from the north and the Redwallers were forced to flee the abbey. The whole abbey has been destroyed and the barbarians took everything but some supplies and the tapestry of Martin the Warrior. The Redwallers have decided to build St. Ninians church into the new abbey of Mossflower. Only a few creatures survived....
Martin II the Warrior is has led the survivors to the church. " Ok let's set up the camp here everybody!" said Martin taking off his large pack and started unpacking his tent.
Keen
"i'm surprised this tree can hold me up." he whispered to himself. Keen had to hide since he was a Rat, and although he didn't plunder the Abbey the other animals will still attack him just because of what he is... a rat.
"Hey you two go cut down some trees for a fire, you four go scout the area for any activity." said the warrior as he was taking charge of the force.
Keen
he didn't hear the leader order the troops, but he guessed right when they started to chop a tree near him. "blasted!!" he whispered to no one. with out drawing any attention he climbed down and started to crawl away from the troops.
Hey whats that!" said Martin pulling out his sword and headed for the tree.
Keen
Keen ran, he ran away from the troops, away from the sword that flashed in the glimmer of the setting sun.
Martin ran over to the tree and saw nobody there, " oh well it must have been my imagination." He shrugged and went back to camp.
Keen
noticing that no one was chasing he stopped and caught his breath, he sat down next to a bush and a few large rocks which barely hid his giant body. "in a few hours.." he said panting "lets go and see whats thier doing" he said to his shadow.
OOC: i presume since the men are getting fire wood it will be dark soon, right?
OOC: ya
BIC: That night the whole camp was set up as they all lit their fires. the next day Martin would draw plans with the abbot for the new abbey.
Keen
He crept up near the campsite. He counted how many creatures there were. a piece of meat was cooking over a fire. "food!!! get the food!" his shadow yelled at him. seeing that no one was near and none was watching he went up to the piece of meat and grabbed it from the fire.
What the?! RAT!!!!!!!" yelled Martin pulling out his sword and running at the rat.
Keen
"thanks, I love you, your my best friend! we should see what else is here!" complemented Keen's stomach as the hungry rat bit into another piece of meat. "rat!!!" yelled someone. "good job!"he whispered to his stomach although it wouldn't matter how quite he talked, two guards were already close to him.. their swords were drawn. Keen threw the piece of meat at the firsts guards face the reached for his neck. once having hold of the guards neck he threw him onto the other guard. seeing martin running at him with a sword he pulled out his staff and prepared for a real fight.
Martin lunged at Keen with the great sword and brought it down on his staff with a hard THWAK!!!
Keen
Klesh, Keen's father taught him how to fight a swordsmen with a staff.. using the knowledge laid before him Keen tilted the staff to a ninety degree angle when the blade hit. the result, the blade dug straight into the ground instead of pounding onto the staff. Keen swung the staff at the mouse's head.
Martin was knocked to the ground and got up rubbing is head, "you blasted rat!" he said hitting the rat on the head with the bottom of his sword.
"Where is Martin?" the abbot said.
Keen
Keen saw the hit coming, he willing let it hit him to show a point. when the sword hit he didn't move, he wasn't knocked back... nothing. (that shows how big he is, really big!) Keen dropped the staff "i'm not your enemy, i am simply hungry." he said to martin
You rat! You destroyed our abbey!" yelled Martin swinging his sword.
Keen
to protect his face, Keen threw his hands up... the blade cut into his right paw, blood gushing out. he dropped and picked up the staff, this time he would not settle for a peaceful solution.
Martin put his sword up to his neck and said, "your surrounded rat. If you move you will die now what is your story?"
OOC: bad move, your holding your sword still, that means you have no momentem :)

"well i was on my way to.." he said smiling. in a flash his face changed to scared as he saw what was coming form behind martin.
OOC: I got a bad feeling about this..
BIC: Well?!
A white shadow watched the fight from the fringes of the trees, the confrontation was strange, the rat wasn't attepmting to kill the mouse... How strange. The strange creature saw the very thing that Keen had already spotted, and loaded her sling...
Keen
"watch out!" Keen yelled while dropping his staff, preparing to dodge out of the way of what was coming from behind martin.
What the?!?!" yelled Martin turning around
Keen
martin took the bait, it was just a bluff. it gave Keen enough time to pick up his staff and and run in the other direction. two guards stood in his way, they stood no chance. not wanting to kill them he took the staff and knocked the first one unconscious, the second one was scared away when Keen growled.
The white squirrel decided the Redwallers had taken enough roughhousing, and let fly with a lightning bolt shotfrom the sling. Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzz!
You!! beast!!" yelled martin as he picked up a gaurds javalin and through it at Keen hitting him in the leg.

the javelin just grazed Keens leg, still running he finally made it to cover
OOC: Abbot, you should try reading the rules for RP'ing. What you just did is called Power playing, you're forcing your attack to hit, it is the RP'ers decision wheather the attack hits him or not.

"my leg, my paw.. I hate you!" he yelled at his shadow. after running for a while he found a place near a creek-bed to hide. martin and the guards were still looking for him, he could here them... but there would never find them here.
OK men he isnt here lets get back to camp," said Martin putting up is sword.

"stupid flies" he thought while another buzzed around his head. it was worth it, his hiding place was perfect.
he could only see the outlining of what looked like a squirrel, female by the size he guessed
She looked up, "You may have found a good hiding spot vermin, but I can distinguish vermin smell from the worst of swamps. That and your tracks are plain as day... I know you're here rat!"
Martin was alert all night because he thought that the rat would come back.
"Where were you Martin?"
I saw a rat earlier he was taking some of our food."

knowing he couldn't stay here for ever Keen started to move. He was far away from the camp when WACK!!!!
A guard hit him in the temples, blood dripped down his face as he stood back up. a second guard hits him in the spine sending him back to the ground, this kept going till Keen was to weak to get back up. (it took a long time ;) oh and just so y'all know im not making Keen untouchable he's just really smart.. )
The Albino squirrel heard the noise of wood striking flesh and launched herself into a nearby Elm to investigate... And was quite surprised.
Do you hear that?" said Martin picking up his sword and running twords the sound.
It took four guards to take Keen back to their camp, once there they tied him to a tree.
"Back and forth, back and forth. When will these creatures make up their minds!?" The white squirrel had followed the party back to camp and was busy puzzling over the events of the day.

OOC: yes, where i was caught stealing meat
So rat now tell me what you are doing here? My men have been trying to track you all night."

"Well, I was on my way to some port where I am going to be getting a job on some ship, I don't even know what the port is called or where it is.. the map leading me there is lost now thanks to you and your men. Once I figured out that vermin destroyed the Abby I hid knowing you'd attack me on sight, and I didn't want to hurt any of you.. I don't have a side in any war. I was hiding in a tree when your men started to get wood so I left then came back looking for food.. kinda. I ran and hid till your men caught me and now i'm here." He explained
Hmm... I guess we can trust you for now... But one move out of line and your dead!"
Keen
"wait.." he said while getting up from where he was tied. "does this mean your not letting me leave?"
Well if you want. I thought you wanted to stay.
Keen
"why would I stay? I see you need help building.. pay me in food, shelter and I will help.. oh and if I ever want to come back here I can and will be accepted with open arms." he said

Keen stuck out his bloody paw for a handshake.
It was a moonless sky that stood over the traveler. He had walked for several weeks now, and was weary and hungry. "I hope I'm almost there!" He told himself.

BIC: Looking around if anybody was around, he sat down and started a fire.
Three shrews were bringing a cart full of sandstone for the new abbey saw a fire up ahead, "look mabye thats the camp of the redwallers!" then the other one said, "but you 'ould think there would be more than one fire eh?" then they went up to the fire.
The traveler heard voices; quickly, he made his way up a tree unnoticed.
The shrews reached the camp and said, " i would have sworn i saw a creature here. oh well" and the moved on.
"That was close!" He sighed. He put off the fire and continued is way through the woods.
Keen
Keen left the camp for a bit. The other creatures were still giving him dirty looks. "i'll be back in the morning." he said to no one. settling down far from the redwall camp, he started a fire... reaching into his backpack he grabbed some meat he stole from the camp and started to cook it.
Martin began too feel sorry for the rat and went over to his fire to eat with him.
Keen
He pulled out a dirk just as Martin came up. Keen got ready to use the knife... bringing it down he chopped the meat into two pieces.
OOC: gotcha hahaha ;)
Hello Keen how are you doing?" said Martin sitting down with him.
Keen
Keen tossed one half of the meat to Martin. "fantastic" he murmured, them smiled really big... his eyes got lost in the flicker of the flames
OOC: Your eating fish right? Redwallers will only eat fish based meat.
The traveler was walking in the woods when he saw a rat trying to hide. He walked slowly towards it slowly drawing his dagger; he plunged his blade in his heart. After wiping his blade on the carcass, he continued his voyage.

The traveler saw a serie of fires; he hid in the forest.

BIC: The traveler silently made his way around the camp.
"Well, well well, ------ ( <name) it certainly has been a long time since I've clapped peepers on ya'." The white squirrel had been observing the stranger.
The next day the Redwallers began building the new abbey. Construction went well and they got a good days worth of work.
OOC: Ummm... Do you mind backing up to were we were before? We didn't finish the conversation.

"Who is it?" He said, turning around swiftly. "Ho! It's you! Shure been a long time I saw you!"
Martin was trying to create a conversation with the rat but he couldnt think of things to say.
Gesturing toward the UN-conversationalists she replied, "What do ya' make of them two?"
"They can't see us."

he was unhappy that he had to be rude to martin, but he was getting on his nerves.
Martin returned to his tent and went to bed.

BIC: the redwallers have started to build the abbey. They started with the gatehouse and they are right on schedule.

He lifted a huge log and threw it on his shoulders, carrying it to the foundation of the new building. Keen started to cut the log and sand it to be just perfect for the gatehouse.
Need some 'elp with that mate?" as a vole came up to help him.
Keen
The sun was shining bright today, it was hot over here. sweat dripped down his brows as a vole approached.
"Need some 'elp with that mate?" it asked
"well if you could show me how to sand and cut this just right, i would very much appreciate it." Keen replied
"Righto mate' said the vole showing Keen how to do it the right way. "there ye go." as he handed it back to Keen.
"The abbey is taking form quickly!" Abbot Dinyfold said excitedly.

Keen brought the piece to the actual builders and went back to cut down another tree.
Martin was over viewing the plans with abbot about where things would go in the new abbey.

Martin was observing the work. "This is good." he said to himself.
"the church should be a meeting place for us all!" Abbot Dinyfold said pensively. "This abbey should be bigger than the previous one! With more buildings!"

She walked around the campsite, pouring water for the men hard at work. Splinter was a young mouse, she was who ever she was needed to be.
"Oi thoit boi Splinter. She boi the noices li'l moise we evor soin!" said a mole to Martin. Martin then walked over and said to her, "Uh Hi i'm Martin."
Splinter
she saw the mouse coming up, she was ready for him.. he obviously had an eye for her.
"uh hi i'm Martin." the mouse said approaching her.
"hi." she replied with a warm smile "can you show me who is in charge here?"
I am miss" said Martin

her smile grew bigger, "i have a question.. do you think you could help me with it?" she asked
"With what pretty maid?" said Martin

"do you think that," she paused, then yelled and pointed. "Rat!!!" she screamed as Keen walked up to martin holding a axe.
"It's ok he is not an enemy. If he was a spy i would slice his stomach open and rip his guts slowly. If there's one thing i hate it's a spy."

she jumped behind Martin and hid.

He walked up and heard the little mouse scream. "Martin, thats the third time today someone has screamed rat when they saw me... anyways.. i just wanted to apologize for being rash to you last night, it was uncalled for."
Ah its fine. Dont worry about. Have you met Splinter here?" said Martin

"no, and i dont have the time." he said while sticking up his nose. "it smells like food is ready." he walked away

"how, how do you know he is a good guy?" she asked still hiding behind Martin
Well I dont know thats why i'm always watching him. But if he is a spy!" Martin swung his sword at a watermelon from a mousemaid and cut it in half with his sword.

"He's kinda big to be a spy don't you think?" she said while walking around Martin in a funny stealthy way. "spies should be smaller." Splinter whispered in his ear, she took her figure and poked him in his side, making him jump.
What? well my grandfather Mattimeo the Warrior told me that when his father fought Cluny the scourge they had vermin bigger than that that were spies."

He lifted the axe high. bringing it down upon the tree, unfortunately the tree was wet causing the axe to slip. it dove into Keen's paw.
"well.." he said looking down at his bleeding paw. "dangit!" he whispered while walking back to camp to get it fixed up. "martin, can you get a mousemaid to fix my paw? they keep running away."

the maids didn't really care about fixing his hand, only finding the most painful way of doing it. "Geez!" he screamed at the maid.
"let me help him." she said to the other maids. "so what brings you out here?"
"i was on my way to a job which is on a boat." he replied
"so... your one of us? a good guy?" she asked
"i will never choose a side." he answered looking around for Martin, that mouse always was sneaking up on him
"well your here, and helping us build the Abbey, so doesn't that mean you've chosen our side?"
"no, it chose me... and im only here for a little while" he said

"yes Martin, he finshed as of now" she said while pulling the last stitch threw the paw.

"i think i heard him scream two.. but it wasn't because of his paw, but because every one treats him differently." she replied
Well ok." said Martin as he laft his tent. "I'm going to lunch." as he headed for the mess.

He heard the mess bell and went for lunch. After getting his food he saw Martin in line, he waved him over to the table.
Martin sat down with Keen, "Something wrong Keen?"
Keen
"no, not at all. i was wondering if we were going to be using stones and wood or just wood for the abbey?" he asked
Splinter
making sure no one was around, splinter went inside of Martin's tent. she copied down the layout for the new abbey and put them inside of her bag back at her tent. she walked to the mess and got in line.
The abbot walked up to Splinter. "What a bad mannered mouse our Martin is!"
He chuckled. "He didn't show a newcomer around!"
Splinter
Her face turned red. "no he's nice... hi i'm Splinter"
"I'm abbot Dinyfold! Pleased to meet you, fair maiden!"
OOC: Hey Redwaller, how do you think we should into the picture?
OOC: hey Andrew, is your person good or bad?

"would you care to eat with me?" she asked while getting her food
OOC: Maybe we should sneek up on them, or speak to a nearby creature?

the two, after getting some food walked over to a table and started talking.

"Looks like someone else is interested in that mousemaid" he said while looking at the two sitting at the table. "don't lie i know you've been watching her... more than you've been watching me." he laughed at the mouse

BIC: "I'm feeling pretty hungry!" the traveler said. "What about you?"

BIC: The traveler was close to jump out of his hidding place and eat all the food in sight. "Wanna go eat?"
"It is thy decision to make, 'O famished one," The white squirrel replied with a smile.
"Then let's go!" The traveler said, bounding out of the bushes and jumping at the food.
She shook her white head, "Thee is a bigger fool than I recolect." the albino squirrel backed farther into the surrounding trees.
Abbot Dinyfold almost fainted at the sight of a cloaked figure jumping on the food.
Splinter
she jumped up and ran towards the cloaked figure. she pouring a cup of water and put some refreshing food on a plate for the tired traveler. "here friend" she said, not even thinking that he could be a threat to her.
What in the name of the devil!" yelled Martin pulling out his sword and charging the cloaked thing.
Splinter
"Have you no manner!" she yelled at martin as he raced toward the figure. "she stepped in from of the figure, blocking him from the sword.
Whovare you to just walk into our camp and steal our food!" said Martin stepping around Splinter and pointing his sword at the thing.
Keen
he stood up and brought a chunk of meat to the scene. "well, Martin... you must have really good food here because you have caught two now with it." he laughed
OOC: Andrew is your person the one who was searching for me?
BIC:

"do you have to point your sword at everything that moves?" she asked irritatingly. she bent down and gave the cloaked figure a hand up.
Well sorry Splinter but I mean what is this thing anyway?!" looking at the cloaked thing.

"hahahahaha" he laughed at the cloaked figure "i guess you can't see the sword that was in your face! now you just made the only reason why your still standing run away hahaha" he kept laughing, so much that tears came to his eyes. "well, this is to much fun" he said still laughing a little bit. "anyways.. its not my fight. i have to get back to work... but hey beat Martin here and feel free to eat" he said while winking at Martin. he stepped close to martin and whispered "finish him like clock work" and left saying "tick, tock, tick, tock" repeatedly
I hope you know that I could kill you if I wanted." said Martin.
"I don't mean any harm!" He said. "As long as nobody touches me, I will be your friend! When the time is right, I'll uncover myself!"
Well will you help us on the construction of our abbey?"
"Sure! As long as nobody touches me! Deal?"

she walked back to her tent, she was frustrated by what happened.. or seemed so.
Martin watched the new hooded creature at all times.
Keen
he was shocked when the troops brought him a tent, but grateful none the less... and by brought i mean laid it several feet away from him. after pitching his tent he went out looking for Martin before it got too dark, he wanted to know what happened to the newcomer.
Splinter
Splinter sat in her tent for a while looking over the layout of the new Abbey. she remembered it all down to the littlest corner, then she burned the paper before there was a chance of her getting caught.
MArtin went to go see Splinter. He went up to her tent just as she through the paper in the fire. "what was that you through in their?" he asked sitting down next to her.
Splinter
"just something to get the fire more hot, i'm kinda cold." she said while smiling at him.
Keen
he saw Martin go and sit next to Splinter. "guess i'll ask him tomorrow" he told himself.
Ok. So uhhh where are ye from?" Like before you came to Redwall." asked Martin.
Splinter
"born and raised!" she said laughing
No really I mean it." said Martin happily.
Splinter
"Well.." she said trying to overcome a burst of emotion "my dad and my mom were only together for a short time, she lived near the swamps in a small uncharted village. He was there trying to get help, on his trip he had received a great injury so my mother took him in a fixed him up... they fell in love." she looked away from Martin. "he... he was gone before i was born. and my mom left me at the abbey before she died from a terrible illness."
Oh.. I'm sorry." said Martin to her. "Well I should probably go back to my tent now it's getting kinda late." said Martin getting up and detracting out his arms.

"it's ok" she said while wiping tears off of her snout "sometimes its good to remember what happened"
Ok then good night." said Martin as he went back to his tent...........

He really wanted to be both, but "spies? i catch them for a living, and are you sure there are no problems in your building plans? Because i catch those too." would really seem suspicious. He almost got caught already due to a conversation like that happening. He chuckled to himself, and for a moment forgot that the action he just did could easily get him caught.
Martin went up to Eveth and said, "Ah Eveth. I've got work for you."

OOC: now what you should do is a send an NPC guard to check what the laughter was. but being an NPC i could just do it myself.
BIC: holding his breath, Eveth heard footsteps coming toward him, and decided that this was not the time to decide, and ran. He looped around the camp and entered the other side, waiting for a question or a greeting, or anything other than hostile recognition.

The white squirrel in the trees had witnessed all.... And was VERY suspicious. So much so that she almost showed herself right then and there, but... She decided to wait to see how things petered out.
"my name is Eveth, sir" he said, "ready for any work other than labor, only mental work for me"
"Huh, yeah... Probably thieving kind of mental work," Then she reminisced to herself, and with a VERY slight chuckle finished, "Or maybe Psycho mental work."
Well then you best be roporting to Martin. He is in that tent over yonder."
walking into the tent that, according to the guard, was where this martin lived, Eveth said "sir, did i come to the correct tent to apply for a job?"
Why yes you did Mr.?"
"My name is Eveth, sir and i want a job that engages the brain. I'm not good at any other jobs." he said
Keen
once again he made his way to Martins tent, only to see that he was busy. "what the..." he said
Splinter
Splinter went out side of her tent, her fake tears were gone now and she put on a smile.
Martin had given Eveth a job at the site and was on his way to see splinter.

The albino squirrel wasn't very trustful of this "Eveth" he seemed too... controlled. He was always putting up a front that didn't seem to quite match.

she walked up to Martin "cup of water my sir?" she asked

Keen saw Martin walking threw camp and was going to ask him something, but now he had forgot what it was. taking a break he went for a stroll threw the woods.
OOC: Are you coming to find me?
OOC: no hes just going out on a walk, if you want to show your self you can. i promise Keen will not do anything, he doesn't care whos here and whos not.
Oh why yes thank you Splinter." said Martin taking the water and drank it. "Thank you so much Splinter. That was wonderful. Would you like to go to lunch now?"
Splinter
she blushed "i bearly know you and your already asking me to lunch." Splinter joked. "sorry Martin, i am looking for the rat... i have some questions to ask him."
Oh ok then see you later." said Martin walking over to the mess hall.
Keen
walking was boring, he took off in a full run, jumping over logs and climbing up rocks to get a better view of his surroundings.
Martin was in the mess hall and said to himself," I wonder where Keen is?"

she gave up shortly and decided to wait till he came back. Splinter saw Eveth and went go and introduce herself.

he heard Martin yell, but he was still ways off... he decided to wait till martin got close to respond.
Martin went closer to where Keen was.
"hello, splint-" he cut off mid-sentence, if word about this spread to martin... he really didn't want to think about that happening.
The white squirrel had heard Eveths' blunder, and noted the strange knowledge he seemed to posses.
Martin was still looking for Keen, "Keen! I know your here somewhere!"

he saw Martin walking near the large bolder he was sitting on. picking up a nut he threw it at his head.
Splinter
"i guess Martin has already told you about me, he is crazy" she said while rolling her eyes. "yes, my name is Splinter, what is yours? and would you like some water?" she asked.
OOC: is he a bad guy or good guy? and if hes a bad guy im guessing you want them to know each other... im fine with that.
Oh ow! What the heck?" said Martin, "I'm going back to camp." he turned around to go talk to splinter. He walked into camp looking for her.
OOC: i don't know which side he is a member of, maybe he'll be grey. I really haven't decided, but no matter what, they do not know each other. unless... is splinter a native? if not, maybe they met each other when traveling or something.
Hey Eveth have you seen Splinter?" asked Martin.

"well i was just introducing my self to the hare, and giving him some water." she said while looking behind Martin.
Keen
from five feet away he tossed another nut at Martins head. "you were looking for me Martin?"
Oh ya I was wondering where you were. Now I'm starving you guys want to go to lunch?" said Martin.
Then a mousemaid went up to Martin and said, "um.. Excuse me sir but why are you blushing?"
"What?!? I'm what!?!" said Martin very embarrassed.
Splinter
she looked at the hare. "you go with him." she faced Martin "i will be with you two in a moment" then lastly she looked at Keen. "i need to talk to you."
Um ok I'll save you guys a seat." said Martin walking to the mess hall.
OOC: does splinter know about Eveth's job?
OOC: yes because they have met before. but Eveth is kinda suspicious about Splinter because she was a fighter not a mousemaid last time they met.

"say please, please." he joked
"im not kidding i need to go as soon as you leave, i have to go there anyways and its not safe for a little mousemaid like me to journey alone." she pointed out.
Keen, making sure no one was around took out his staff and swung it at Splinter. she jumped over it and kicked Keen in the leg... hitting one of the nerves making Keen fall to the grown. He jumped up and grabbed his staff. "a little mousemaid? i've been onto you... Kindle." he said quietly. she gasped surprised. "you can come with me, but we both know you don't need my protection.. oh and your secret." he said looking back and forth "is safe with me."
Martin was in the mess hall waiting for the others. "What's taking them so long? " said said to himself.
Keen/Kindle
the two of them got food and went to sit with martin. Splinter sat right next to Martin and Keen sat across the table, all the other creatures besides the hare, Martin and Splinter left the table as soon as he sat down... typical.
Gee tough crowd Keen." said Martin.
OOC: *sniffs* i smell blackmail.
BIC: Eveth suddenly remembered meeting splinter before, but she was different. No one can be both a mousemaid in one place and a dwarf fighter somewhere else. finally he got the courage to ask "splinter, i need to talk with you. privately." he really hoped his accent wouldn't leak out

"ya, but i think there warming up to me." he smiled knowing it wasn't true.
Splinter
seeing a piece of fruit on Martins plate that she didn't have, she stuck her fork threw it and placed it into her mouth. smiling she said "thanks". she looked at Eveth and replied "do you care if i finish my food?"
Ok I'll see you guys later." said Martin. "so keen you said you got a job on a ship?"
Keen
"yes, i'll be a boatswain... they need someone big and strong to keep the passengers in check."
Splinter
she walked off with Eveth, wondering what he wanted to know.
Or you going to Agutrot? It's the biggest known port in the world."
Keen
"i was given little details, i was supposed to be there when you found me... my map was lost so i dont know how to find my way so i'll stay here for know till i remember where it is."
"look, we both know each other, and we both know that the other is a liar, at least i think you're a liar. You just keep changing, now, i want you to answer honestly. Who are you?" Eveth mumbled out in "hare speech".

she walked back to her tent and started a fire because it would be getting dark soon.

Martin was hiding behind Splinter's tent to find out what was going on.

being a spy she noticed that Martin was hiding and sneaking on her.
"woe is me! im fluttered by all of these amazing animals! well... there is Martin... but he is just a brat... he is to weird... always too..." she jumped out her tent and ran towards where Martin was hiding.
Martin had fallen asleep because he heard nothing and was bored. So he didn't hear that.

seeing that martin had fallen asleep she grabbed a bucket of water and poured it all over Martin soaking him wet.

"thats what i want to know!" she said while crossing her arms.

she didn't care to listen anymore, she left and went to keen's tent. Keen saw her coming and got out of his tent and sat near the fire.

"Martin was snooping on me, mind if i sit with you for a while and if Martin comes just tell him that its just me and you for a bit?"she responded
"you have to give him a chance, he likes you. im not sure if you like him because of who you are, but at least don't hurt him." he noted
"never thought i'd hear that from a rat." she replied "and what is this, are you developing a friendship with the mouse?"

Thank the seasons that wasn't foremole...." said Martin walking back to his tent. He walked in and said, "Midnightfur? You here?" then a dormouse that was all back stepped in, "Yup Martin?" go see what Splinter and Keen are up to. I'm very suspicious..."
"Righto Martin!" said Midnightfur as he left. He snuck up on Keen and Splinter and got down to where he could hear them and was safe.
OOC: how does Martin know that Splinter is at keen's tent?

she just sat there didn't say a thing or else Keen would make her leave.

Keen was so glad that Kindle shut up, her fake nice voice got in his nerves. he drew out a piece of paper that had info on Kindle. he started to read.
OOC: the note is in a secrete language so no one at the camp can read it besides Keen or another rat.
Midnight fur got so bored he fell asleep and was snoring loudly.

he heard someone in the bushes, " a spy!" he yelled knowing no one else would be in the bushes. he grabbed his staff and brought it down upon the bush.
He knocked out midnight fur cold.

he heard the loud knock of the staff hitting a head. he jumped in and picked up the black mouse. (holding him off the ground by the tail) Keen brought the mouse to Martins tent. "MARTIN!" he yelled outside of his tent.
Martin was still half asleep. "uh....? What the.....? Who....?" he got up and said Midnightfur great what did ya find out?" he said not noticing keen and taking a drink from his mug of strawberry cordial.

not being able to read the letter she ran to her tent and grabbed her bag. fast as possible she went bacl to Keen's tent waiting for him so they could leave.
Ugh! I wish I didn't have to do this. Grent!" then a vole came in. "Get the hound."
Then the vole was very scared and said, "yes sir"
Keen/Splinter
he grabbed his pack and threw the letter into it. Splinter was already there waiting for him. "you ready?" she asked. "you better keep up." he snared while putting out his fire with a bucket of water.
"wait! You haven't explained anything yet. Now, answer my question. Who are you?" Eveth yelled while chasing after Splinter.
OOC: he was waiting at splinter's tent. Didn't think i'd let you off the hook for Splinter's promise, did you? Or am i too late?

Keen let all of his anger out on himself, no one knew about his anger issues. he had killed because of them, hurt people close to him, thats why he tried not to get attached and to live a free life. Keen ran and ran not caring if he Kindle couldn't keep up him.
That night Martin was standing on top of one of the towers when a hooded fox came up to him. "You called for me.... Warrior..."
"Yes I did Zanthar. That rat Keen has kidnapped Splinter, a young and beautiful mousemaiden that is very dear to me."
"And......"
"Find him."
"Indeed then give me my payment."
Then Martin tossed him a bag of gold.
"This will do. He is only a rat and I don't charge much for them."
"Take me to him Zanthar Deathhound!"
Splinter
the rat could run fast, faster than any rat she has ever seen or worked with. the hare was following them also.
Zanthar Deathhound was a mystery. He is half fox, half wolverine.
"Get on my back.... Warrior...."
"uh ok" said Martin getting on his back with his sword ready. "WHOA!!" that fox was fast. Very fast.
OOC: write an app for Zanthar, we don't know enough about him.

Keen reached a river, it was running way to fast to swim threw, but his anger gave him the strength he needed. Keen swam as hard as he could and made it, Splinter wasn't as lucky. "help!" she yelled trying not to drown from the water. "help!" she yelled again. Keen looked back at her, he could have helped her but instead he said this. "all that dirt is weighing you down!" then he left into the woods.
finally reaching the river, Eveth attempted to fish Splinter out of the river, saying along with it "that's what you get for eloping" in a joking tone of voice, turning more serious, and ending with "if i get you out, you owe me an explanation."
OOC: attempted in case you WANT her to drown.
OOC: eloping is when you leave secretly to get married lol

"Hiiiieeeeeee! S'death in my wake!" A white blur came flying, lightning bolt style out of the branches of a oak tree, ice-like blade drawn, and made a powerful slash at the hybrid creature Martin was riding.... Right at it's large practically un-missable chest.

"i was running after Keen, pleading for him to stay, i told him the spy was from you to see what i was going to do but he didn't believe me... why did you have to send a spy to watch me?" she asked
I sent him to watch Keen now c'mon let's get back to camp." said Martin. "Zanthar! Get back to camp!"
"Indeed.... Warrior..." said Zanthar running to Martin. Get on his back he is big enough for us all!"

Then Martin threw him some gold.

Eveth ended with "In fact, i would feel much more comfortable knowing that that thing is under the eye of a great warrior like yourself."
He is under my pay he won't hurt you." said Martin.
"or so it says." Eveth continued, with the "it" subtly accented.

"martin, you better go back with the fox... im not happy with you, let alone want to be around you." she said in a very upset voice.
But I.... Why are you doing this?!" said Martin dropping his sword.

"you... just dont understand." she said as she walked back to the camp with Eveth, alone.
Martin yelled and threw his helmet into a tree and sat down on the river bank.
"I want my full pay... warrior..."
"Here it is! Now get out of here!" yelled Martin throwing him a sack of gold. Then the fox left.

"howday partner!" he yelled across the river to Martin
"YOU!" yelled Martin jumping up. "I'll kill you!"

"sure you will, because it worked out so well for you last time." he joked
Martin was in bloodwrath now and yelled at Keen, "I'll get every bounty hunter in Mossflower to bring me your head!!"

"i know all of the bounty hunters you know, and they like me more than you!" he yelled in a taunting manor.
YOU!! YOU!! RAT!!!!" yelled Martin.
Keen
"calm down, dont get your tail in a knot. why are you mad at me? do you even know?" he asked
LOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!!!!" yelled Martin. Then three GOUSIM rafts come down the river.
"Get me to the other side of this river!"
"Righto Martin!"

he waited for Martin to come, he didn't even take out his staff... he didn't want to fight right now.
The GOUSIM rafts got to Martin and he got on one and said, "Get me to the other side!" Then the rafts started floating to the other side.
OOC: more like swimming as hard as possible since the river is flowing as hard as it has ever flown before lol

BIC: the GUOSIM rafts landed about 100 yards from where Keen was.

"she doesn't hate you!" he yelled while rolling away from the crazy mouse "she doesn't like you either... she doesn't care about anyone!"
That's a lie!" yelled Martinwildly swinging his sword, "She loves you not me!"

he fell on the ground and started to roll as laughter erupted from him. "love! she doesn't know how to love! she is just a piece of dirt, no more.. no less."
How dare you!!" yelled MArtin as he pinned keen on the ground and put him at sword point. "I'll let you finish talking though!"
Keen
"of course you will. you love has blinded you from the truth." he laid all joking aside. "give me that sword and i will tell you the truth." he said while getting up.
Martin through the sword on the ground, "dont touch it. Now speak."
Keen
he took a step closer and separated martin from his sword. "Splinter is really called Kindle, she is a spy for the enemy."
Martin's almost exploded. He jumped on a shrew raft and yelled "get me back to camp! NOW!!!!" the shrews took him across and he bolted for camp. although in full battle armor he ran fast.
Keen went with him

Martin slowly put the sword up to his neck, "Eveth.... Now...."
"i'm a bit sick right now, and she is the only person with the medicine that will help, so do you really want to deprive an innocent hare of his medicine. Do you?" Eveth replied.
Out of the way Eveth... I need to talk to Kindle!" pressing the sword up to his neck and grabbing his clothes.
"kindle? last time i saw someone named kindle it was at a seaport over that way." Eveth said while pointing the direction of the port Keen was going.
Eveth... Do you want to die?"
"If I'm given time to write my will" Eveth joked.
Martin punched Eveth across the face and bolted for splinter's tent.

Martin rushed for Splinter's tent with his sword out.
The white squirrel was sneekying up on the rear of the tent when martin was headed for it (you don't see me).

OOC: just got to my hotel.
BIC:
she had Eveth slow Martin down as she got ready. she heard Martin out side of her tent.
Martin stormed right into the tent and whipped out his sword and yelled, "You spy!" as he raised his sword up he said, "any last words? Kindle?"
Shadow bolted into the tent and jumped on Martin. "Don't you dare touch her!" He said angrily. "It is not your job to kill her, for she is bound to be judged in Castle Floret!" He said, softening his tone. "When Keen told you she was a spy, i knew it was the one wanted in Castle Floret!" Shadow undid his cloak, reveling a squirrel. "I am Treeflyer, secret agent of King Gael!"
OOC: what? That post confuses me.
Martin swung his sword around to try and hit him. "No she's mine."
treeflyer twisted Martin's wrist, making him loose grip of his sword. "Listen! If you kill her, you will be judged by King Gael for killing the outlaw!"
I don't give squat for your king Gael! I'm gonna kill her!" said Martin picking up his sword and jumping on Kindle to get her at sword point.
Kindle/keen
Kindle took out a short blade and cut threw the back of the tent and escaped during the confusion. she was at the edge of the camp when a staff swung out from behind a tree. Keen almost hit her as she slid under it. she threw a couple of small knives at him, luckily for Keen they hit the staff. Kindle stopped the quick fight knowing in the end she would lose.
"you gonna not let me leave?" she asked
"no." he answered while shrugging his shoulders "i just want to know if your still interested in coming with me to the docks?"
"really?" she replied "nows not the time."
"well heres a map to the docks if you change you mind (Keen remembered where the docks were and made two maps.)"
"thanks" she said while kissing him on the cheek. instantly he slapped her, so hard it knocked her to the ground.
"just dont play with me, got it?" he snared. she laughed and ran into the woods.
OOC: so will some of this RP take place in southsward?
OOC: i dont know, you want to come with Kindle there?
Martin saw that she escaped and whipped out a horn that made his voice very loud,
"LOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!!!!"
Then he ran to the edge of camp in time to see the GUOSIM show up. "Quick! Find a young mousemaid in the woods and bring her to me. Then the shrews all headed out. Then Zathar showed up and said, "yes.... Warrior...."
"I need you to find that maiden again."
"Agreed... I see that you are in a hurry... So I'll charge afterwards...."
Then Martin jumped on his back and he picked up Kindle's scent, howled, and bolted on the trail.
OOC: if you're going, then yes, and my second character might fit there. she's in the planning stage, so not in the sign up thread
OOC: im guessing that the hare is a bad guy then, right? or is he just on the most entertaining side till the tides have turned?

all of the guards went looking for Kindle which left Keen almost alone, and he was really hungry.
Kindle
while running threw the woods she started to put on her spy clothes. they were black, didn't make a sound and another feature that helped in this situation, minimized her sent trail. she kept running then made a sudden stop and doubled back on a new trail to the campsite.
OOC: most entertaining side, and I'm waiting for Abbot's opinion on Southsward.
OOC: ya if he doesn't want it to be there then i will just have Kindle leave the RP for a little while.
OOC: It's up to Alf to decide if we go or not!
OOC: if you do go to southsward, what method of travel? Just the ship Keen works at?
OOC: calm down redwaller we already know its up to Abbotalf0805 to decide. and uh i am gonna leave Keen in the RP for now and have Kindle leave i guess (unless we can go southsward) and yes using the boat Keen works at is a good idea.

semi plot: Kindle escapes and goes to southsward with Eveth. you have Martin make deal with Keen and all of the good guys follow Keen to the ship he works on and then go to southsward and try to get Kindle because she has info on how the Abbey is being built and knows other stuff also. sounds ok? tell me if you want that to happen or not, thanks :)
PS: the part where Eveth comes with Kindle is up to Psybox, he could just go with Martin's group.
OOC: that's epic! In stead of waiting and making a sign up for a sequel I'm gonna do that.
OOC: we dont need a sequel, we can just continue it in this RP.

BIC: Martin and Zanthar were hot on Kindle's trail and were gaining fast.
Kindle/Keen
Kindle jumped into the camp grounds. "Keen!" she yelled while running full speed "you drew north and south the wrong way!!! Keen pulled out his copy of the map, he made the small change. he laughed, "Martin! come here!!" he yelled as loud as possible.
Zanthar bolted to the voice and Martin was anxious to hear the news. Then they showed up where Keen was.
Keen
"peace?" he asked
Peace." said Martin, "Now do have anything to report?"
Keen
"i know where she is going... is that a good enough report?"
Were?!"
Keen
"here" he said while showing the map. "she had made a copy herself and is not heading there."
Ok will you come with us?"
Keen
he grabbed the map back. "well i guess i have to since im not letting you hold this map ever again. i lost my first one thanks to you." he pointed out and started to walk in the woods.
OOC: psybox, if your following Kindle just say so, if not then i guess your with Keen or following him.
Well let's go." said Martin walking with keen.
OOC: I'm following her. does kindle know that? Or am i secretly following her
OOC: she knows but she is letting him think she doesn't know.

she stopped by a stream and took a sip then started to walk.
Keen
he started to lead the group to the docks, a two day trip.
"if you're going to that floret place treeflyer was talking about, then your going to need someone to talk you out of trouble, and they won't listen to you if you've already been there!" he panted out, thinking how maybe he should have saved his breath
OOC: how should her majesty the decemberists pop in?

The white squirrel's head was whirling, "How had so much happened so fast?!"She had decided to follow Kindle as she had left the tent... Waiting in case that thing attacked again... Justice would be performed porperly.... And she would see to that! The albino beast dropped from the branches of the trees and held her sword of the north at ready stance... Right in front of Kindle.
OOC: How will her majesty the decemberists enter the storyline? Really, will someone help with that?
OOC: Not with the word snow in her name! (read my post in OOC:)
OOC: im thinking of a way, it would really help if Keen knew you some way. also Andrew your character didn't follow Kindle because of the places she went. it would have been impossible for anyone to have followed her except for Keen, Martin and Aveth. and Keen and Martin stayed at the camp while Aveth was still chasing her so you can only be following Keen's group.
OOC: I started following you when you left camp! I can "Jolly well" Follow you if you come tearing past me through a tent!

"well look what we have here." she said whiling pulling off her mask from the suit. "you better get some water, we still have a lot of running to do."
"I have nothing to run from Kindle, but thee have issues that thou must face up to... thou has choices, thee can come with me and live, or stay and be slain by that... Thing the mouse has. Your choice." The albino squirrel had her blade drawn and ready for use.
OOC: lol i was talking to Eveth
OOC: So you have no care about the fact that there is a squirrel with a sword right in your face? ???
OOC: oh ya i will say something but i thought that you thought i was talking to you.

she looked at Eveth and then looked at the squirrel. "well if your going to be my captor, may i at least know your name?"
I smell her.... warrior... " said Zanthar bolting.
OOC: did i mention that my character is a power hungry maniac? Or maybe just power hungry.
OOC: that's not weird at all....
"Aquiantances may be made later, for the moment all present would be advised to run, I smell that horrid thing your friend uses coming this way... But we also have time, find a pine tree! Kindle, thee would be best advised to start making a smell of a false trail, I shall wipe out thy return trip with a pine branch."
OOC: My personal smell overpowers Kindles', so after we've rigged the false trail Zanthar will NEVER be able to find us.
OOC: ok then
BIC: "Cmon Zanthar can't you smell them?"
"Yes but the trail has moved.... Strange..." said Zanthar head down the new trail.
Kindle
they took the false trail and were long gone. "so, what is your name?" she said. "sorry i forgot to tell you my name, im Kindle Frostbite."
Under the hood, it was slightly visible as the white squirrels' eyebrows went up, "Frostbite eh? I shall be known to thee at the moment as Foresta, nothing else... For now.."
Kindle
"good to know, now i have somewhere to be." she said
"Strange... There are two trails...." said Zanthar.
"Then I'll take this one and you take that one." said Martin as they split up.
OOC: which trail is Martin going after? and i thought he was following Keen to the docks?
OOC: since Martin is much slower he is on the right one.
OOC: why aren't you with Keen? and i have to wait till danflorreguba and Psybox to respond before i continue with Kindle.

Martin and that thing left trying to chase Kindle, they would never catch her. he kept walking towards the docks anyway, they would catch up sooner or later by picking up his sent.
Martin continued to follow the trail when he bumped into Keen.
Keen
"going blind?" he asked while looking at Martin
What in the name of Vilu Daskar are you doing? Coming with me on a spy hunt?"
"oh, and Foresta. i'm kindle's lawyer, at least, i'm trying to get her to hire me. Doesn't seem to be working." he introduced himself as they walked.
Kindle
she nodded her head in agreement as if he was already hired.
Keen
"im going to the docks, if your looking for Kindle you'll find her there." he answered
Lets go then." said Martin spriting down towards the docks of Agutrot.
Keen
he made sure he didn't run to fast for the mouse, but made haste none the less.
We must get there first!"
Keen
"it doesn't matter, the tide will be low today and all of tonight, the ships will have to wait till morning to set sail."
But we still want to hurry!"
"I be all of a fuddle, there a lies flying thick and fast.... Along with threats, strange creatures and bad attitudes." The white squirrel who was currently working under the name "Foresta" gave the hare and mousemaid quizzickle glances, "Thee are both liers, that much is plain... But what is with this whole situation in the first place? And thou, Kindle, just what ARE thee?"
I think i just heard a voice..." said Martin kneeling down. he wore a green habit so they wouldn't here him coming.
OOC: hey Martin and Keen are far away from Kindle and the rest of them.
BIC:

"me, well im outta here, im on my way to a dock where a ship is waiting for me and Eveth... now that is the truth."
Darn! It's gone..." Said Martin getting up and running toward the harbor.
Keen
the two of them finaly made it to the docks. he walked up to a captain of a ship and whispered in his ear. the captain shook his head no. Keen waved Martin forward as he walked onto the boat "The Intrepid".
"Where are they?" asked Martin.
Keen
"not here." he said plainly as he looked at the crew, sizing each and everyone of them up making sure they knew who was the biggest was.
Take me to her Keen!"
Keen
"i can not take you somewhere i do not know." he said.
OOC: just so y'all know this is the same Keen and Kindle and the boat from my RP "Castaway". but dont worry the boat doesn't sink till another couple of years lol
Well let's get looking!"
OOC: In all these mildly related RP's my characters are all messed up! This is never going to get fixed!
OOC: then I'll wait for you to fix it!
OOC: No no no! i was just remarking and learing that up before anyone else ended up noticing... Just warning y'all that my characters just don't seem to fit the seems quite right...

the two of them split up and Keen started to check a couple other boats.
Martin walked along the docks looking for any of them.

she kept walking and reached the edge of the docks, she was in totally different clothes she stole... no one could ever notice her for who she really was.
Treeflyer had followed Keen and Martin to the docks. He sat next to the boat, waiting for Kindle to come. He had his cloak back on to make him impossible to identify him.
Martin walked up to her not know it was her and said, "Excuse me but can you tell if you have seen a young mouse maid about this tall?"
OOC: who are you talking to? He's a he!
OOC: kindle
Kindle
Kindle saw Martin come up, she drew a small little dagger and hissed at him. "i have no gold, now please don't make me use this." she said in a totally different voice, she made her body kinda shake as if she was unsure on how to use the dagger.
Whoa! Gee lady just asking if you've seen somebeast!" said Martin backing off. He was walking off and then cupped his hands then yelled,
"LOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!" Then a score of Guosim shrew showed up and the Log-a-log asked him, "How can we help?" Then Martin told them to look for her.
Shadow aka Treeflyer, walked up to Martin. "I heard your searching for a mousemaid! Come with me!" He said, walking away.
Martin followed but his hand was straying very close to his sword.
Shadow turned a corner and waited for Martin to arrive.
Martin showed up with his hand on hissword hilt and said,
"Well... Where is she?!!"
Shadow undid his cloak. "She is in the docks. But where, i do not know!"
Thank!" said Martin runnig off to the docks.
The white figure, known as Foresta, Saw Martin approaching the group, "Here comes thy friend again mouse."
Martin walked up to the squirrel and asked, "Have you seen a beautiful mousemaiden about this tall?"
The squirrel stared coldly at Martin, and didn't reply.
I asked you a question!" said Martin as four Guosum shrews howed up with their rapiers ready.
"Foresta" eyed Martin with scorn before saying, "Thy threats fall on deaf ears, thou art not a good friend to put ones allies in such grave danger," as the squirrel finished, she drew with lighting swiftness and de-tipped all four of the shrews rapiers.
Martin drew Martin's sword and said, "I just want know the answer to the question."
"And I in turn have refused to answer it. Do thee really want to get thyself killed trying to get an answer?"
Martin looked at him with scorn,
"You know where she is! I know it!"
Treeflyer put his cloak back on and walked up to Martin and Foresta.
"Tell me!"
"I need not bandy words with assumptious fools like thee, good day." The white squirrel turned as she put up her sword and walked away.
Martin was in totall anger but then went back to his hunt.
Kindle
she heard Martins words, but knew he wasn't complimenting her beauty. she walked up to shadow and told her to follow if she wished.
Martin was walking away and heard a voice say, "Martin.... My sword shall weild for me..."
OOC: Muth? isn't she from a different RP?
OOC: he messed up.
OOC: aww dangit! i've been hiking in yellow stone all day and im beat, sorry lol
Martin looked at the shy and said, "Martin?"

He turned around and looked at the creatures he just talked to. He got down and watched them.

she starred at the creature waiting for a reply knowing that she had to get going soon.

he walked up to Martin. "find her? see anything weird?"
Those beasts over there."
Keen
he smiled. "i notice the squirrel, but the others are not Kindle or any other creature we know" Keen lied about it not being Kindle.
I don't know Keen. Martin spoke to me and I'm gonna wait and see what happens"
Keen
"you.. talked too.... yourself?" he laughed "and what did... you have to say?"
Martin the first smart one."
Keen
"alright then.. what did he have to say?"
He just said 'My sword shall weild for me..'"
Keen
"oh, ok." he smiled while walking to a tavern.
Ya well go drink some ale that will help you."
Keen
"help me? your the one whos seeing things and you are still sober!!" he laughed while entering the tavern, the animals were all laughing and singing together. Keen started to sing along at the front door waiting for Martin to come.
Martin rolled his eyes and watched the creatures.

Keen made a couple of other rats move from a booth and had Martin sit there while he went to get some ale. "a fizzler and one pint of ale me fine sir." he ordered.
Martin looked around and didn't like it one bit.
Keen
"dont worry!" he said while placing the pint of ale in front of Martin. "their too drunk to care and too drunk to fight, thats why every one is so happy." he started to drink his fizzler.
Martin still didn't talk and drank his ale slowly.
Keen
time flew and Keen started to sing and jump around with the rest of them. after the song was over he went and got refills for him and Martin.
I don't need any more keen."
Keen
"ahhh but we all need ale!" he laughed while drinking some fizzler.
Your mad..."
Keen
"how can one be mad when surrounded by friends and family?" he asked then yelled at the top of his lungs, "right!?!?!" all of the creatures yelled in response "ya!!!"
Martin ignored him..
Keen
he sat down across the booth from Martin. "i know you liked her, i'm trying to help you forget about those feelings but your not making it easy."
I just want to be left alone..."
Keen
"do you still...?" he asked. the whole tavern got quite, or so it seemed. it was still as loud but to Martin and Keen it was a silent as a mouse... a sneaky spy mouse.
Still what?!"
Keen
"have feelings for the rodent?"
Of corse I do! Now shut up!"
OOC: just so you know a fizzler is a non-alcoholic drink that looks like ale, Keen doesn't drink alcohol.
Keen
his smile went away. he got up from the table and walked out the back door.
Martin followed.
OOC: oops modified, i need sleep.

Keen had rats stop and slow Martin from following him. once out the back door he locked it and continued on, he knew they couldn't hold Martin for long but this bought him some time.
Martin got the rats away and continued toward Keen.
Shadow was following Keen, unnoticed.
Martin trailed keen wondering what he was doing.
Shadow saw Martin coming and hid.
What was that?!"
Shadow grabed Martin and put his paw on Martin's mouth. "Be silent!" He whispered. "I know where he's going! If you follow me, i will lead you to him!"
Martin calmed down and nodded his head. He got up and said, "Where is he going?"
"He is going to a tavern for a secret meeting!"
With who?"
"With Kindle and her friends!" He whispered. "Follow me!"
Lead the way..."
OOC: good guess redwalller, but your wrong. if you remember Keen said to Kindle not to have Martin fall for her or else... and sadly for her he has.
Keen
he went around front and saw the squirrel and the others still talking, he started to walk up to them.
OOC: so what happened?
"Foresta" could feel Keens' presence even before she smelled him or heard him... This Keen was definitely different from most Rats.
Martin followed Keen's trail and kept his distance.
Kindle
"what is it?" Kindle asked noticing that the squirrel had also noticing something different.
Keen
He charged at the group, his staff was already in his paw as he jumped towards the cloaked figure (Kindle).
Martin got down on his belly and began to crawl up to get a good view.
The white squirrel held out her arm for a "clothesline" manuever. Even if he didn't going flying into it, it would give her (the squirrel and Kindle) time to react further. *drawing sword*
OOC: he was already flying lol. he did a jump and was bringing his staff down on Kindle. let me fix that real quick for you :)
BIC:
Keen/Kindle
the Squirrel unsheathed her sword and deflected Keen's blow, Keen was surprised be her strength. Kindle saw what was happening and rolled away, but Keen kept on. He brought the staff around swinging it at Kindle, knocking her into a nearby building.
Martin whipped out his sword and charged them in the fight.
Keen
Kindle didn't get up from hit, keen looked at the Squirrel to see what she would do about it.
The white squirrel stood between Kindle and Keen sword in both hands, holding it ready for any move.

he looked past her seeing Kindle still not moving. "he still does..." he told Kindle, knowing she could hear him. he spat on the ground and turned to see Martin running at them with his sword.
OOC: You mean Martin still does have feelings for Kindle?
OOC: yes and Keen told her that if she left and Martin still liked her that he would hurt her... really bad.
"I would advise thee to pay heed to thy oncoming opponent." The squirrel wanted to shift the attention from the mouse on the ground, to the charging mouse with the sword... Simple right?
Keen
"ha, my opponent? he is coming for Kindle and you.. take this hint though... he has his fare share of ale." Keen smiled while stepping out of martin's way.
"Thou be the one that struck his friend, he has no quarrel with I." The squirrel replied matter-of-factly.
Keen
"his friend? more like his false lover... a spy that had tricked the poor soul into a untrue relationship. if your fight is not with him then best be you step aside, like i said he has had his fair share of ale."
Martin ran up and looked at KIndle on the ground there and raised his sword.
"Anything you have to say?!"
OOC: I'm standing between you and Kindle BIC:
"I SAY that thee should stop this constant lust to kill!"
Martin replied, "She will pay for this treason!"
"You will have to go through me first!" The squirrel prepared herself for an onslaught.
I don't have anything against you but I will kill you if you don't move!"
"Just try it thou little mouse!" The squirrel was shouting by this time.
Martin swung his sword at the squirrel yelling, "REDWALLLLLLLL!!"
"Foresta" parried easily, and kicked out at Martin with a swift right in an attempt to wind the mouse.
Martin jumped back up and swung again.
This time, the albino squirrel locked swords with Martin, knowing she could easily over power her smaller opponent.
Martin and the squirrel were in a sword lock many times and it was getting hard for Martin.
The squirrel let Martin push her sword almost all the way off, then quickly brought it up over his and reversed their positions in the lock, giving her a great advantage.
Martin tried to get the upper paw but fell on his back.
"Foresta" Pressed her blade against the nape of Martins' neck, "I warned thee, leave Kindle alone."
She knows too much! She will pay for crossing me!"
"Not anytime I'm around."
Who are you?!?!"
"A squirrel pudden-head. Can't thee tell?" The squirrel was feeling sarcastic, and was not one to give away names lightly.
Get back or I'll kill you!"
OOC: I have my sword at your throat BIC:
"Thous' will is one of bloodshed, mine is one protection." The squirrel pressed Martins' neck a little harder with the point of her sword.
OOC: Not enough to draw blood.
Martin dropped his sword and put up his hands.
"Foresta" sheathed her sword and offered Martin a hand up, "I have no quarrel with thee, just an issue with you attacking a helpless beast."
Martin was in total anger. "Un armed or not she is coming with me." said Martin looking at Kindle, "We need to talk."
"Have thee no common sense!? I already stated that I'm not letting you have her!" The white squirrel had her hand on her blade handle again, ready to draw in the blink of an eye.
Martin did the same and said, "Why not?"
Kindle
air rushed into her lungs, she gasped back to life. the hit was harder than any other she had ever received. she slowly got up to see martin and the Squirrel talking.... Keen watched her get up and flashed a short smile.
"Because thou has the blood lust, I will not stand by as thee slay her." Sword drawn again the squirrel finishes her statement," I defeated you once, I can do it again just as easily."
Martin saw her and motion his paw around his neck. "I will not slay her. On my word of hounor!"
"Foresta" gave Martin the dirtiest look she could muster, "The same Honor that makes you summon a evil beast to do dirty work for you? The same honor that makes you send spies after your so called friends?"
Martin looked at him and said, "I had my suspicions about Keen and Zanthar was my only choice."
"A dishonorable choice none the less," The squirrel was gaining quite a bit of contempt for this mouse.
Keen
he was about ten feet from Martin when he heard his words, Keen made a funny face. he dispersed to no where.
Kindle
she was standing behind the squirrel her hand secretly on a dagger in case this got out of hand.
Martin looked at Kindle and said, "Kindle.. Please turn away from all this."
Kindle
"away from what." she said in a irritated voice, her head was still throbbing form being throw against the building.
All this darkness.."
Kindle
"me dark! look at your self!" she said. something grabbed her from the shadows, a little yell busted out of her mouth before something covered it.
"Kindle!" yelled Martin jumping around the squirrel and running to her.
Keen
he brought Kindle into the shadows, "shhh" he whispered while helping her into an abandon building.
Martin busted into the building and looked around.
OOC: Sheesh! Can't y'all just be patient! You wouldn't have gotten around my character! BIC:
"Foresta took the slightly slower but much more accurate approach, she gaugded the screem, found the spot, and followed Keens' unique trail into the building were she found them... But stayed out of the way.
OOC: Is this before Castaway? Because if it is, I have to add a character to that RP.
Kindle? Keen?" said Martin with his sword out and looking around.
OOC: yes it is, and feel free to add a character just make a profile first :)

He didn't hear the squirrel or smell her, he just knew she followed. Martin however was as loud a thunder storm, making it easier for the two of them to slip out of the back.
OOC: Still following you, I'll make that Profile now... Thinking on how to add her....
Martin saw him slip out the back and ran after him.
OOC: add her as a counter spy that is following her to see what she's doing. in the RP castaway she wont remember its you, so your character will be safe. oh and she can be on a life boat that is slowly sinking when she sees the island :)

he wasn't sure what happened next. Martin was walking around with his sword and yelling when a rat got up and booked it out of there. Martin, of course followed. Keen and Kindle made it out the back after Martin kept chasing the rat. he stopped and waited for the Squirrel to show herself.
"Thou have obviously figured that I would be following, seeing as thee are waiting for me." The squirrel showed herself (by the way, her hood is always over her head, shading her face).
Keen
"well i decided to wait because i hate seeing only the shadow of a creature." he replied.
Keen! Put her down!" yelled Martin poiinting his sword at him.
OOC: hes not holding her.

Martin had stop following the rat and returned to find him, Kindle and the squirrel. laughter erupted out of Keen's mouth. "bahahaha remember your place Martin!" Keen laughed
What are you talking about!?"
Keen
"were not at the Abbey, were at the docks... my place, my rules." he pointed out "so now put down your sword."
Give me Kindle and I'll leave." said Martin.
Keen
"aye, aye what a beautiful day, day" he sung really loud so the animals in the tavern could hear him. all of the creatures came out to see what the commotion was. "sorry, you don't get Kindle, not today."
Keen I don't want to kill you." said Martin.
Keen
all of the animals heard Martin's threat against one of their fellow brethren, and stepped close taking out their own weapons. Keen walked into the tavern with Kindle and the Squirrel
OOC: have to wait till Danfloorguba replies.

BIC: Martin pulled out his sword in a battle stance and was ready to fight.
OOC: ok so i guess you want Martin to get through them but there will be no Godplaying. you have two choices,
1: back off and spy on them from a distance
2: kill some of the rodents then be beaten up by them really bad.
OOC: I'll go with two
BIC: Martin fought the creatures and fought hard. He was hit several times but fought off most of them.
the strength of the mouse surprised them, but in the end they had him beat. they punched him and cut him, he bled until the rodents threw him into the water.
He was almost unconscious and swam to the shore.
OOC: i have to wait for Danfloorguba to post before i can continue... he sooo slow hahaha

Martin looked through the window and saw Keen.

"well a mouse thought he owned this place and got beat for his stupidity... want anything doll?" she asked
Martin couldn't wait any longer so he flipped up his hood and walked in.

the bar owner gave him a cup of ale. the people started to sing in a marry song.
Drunkers.." said Martin under his breath. He kept his eye on Keen.

"Foresta" shook her head in real dispear, "Rushing into everything and getting into deadly fights about it all the time, are there any sensible creatures left?" The white squirrel was keeping an eye on all her variables: Martin, Kindle, and Keen.
Martin finished his ale and watched every beast in tavern.
Kindle
she noticed the cloaked figure, guessing it was Martin. she was talking to Keen privately. she got up and left through the back door and keen sat still in his booth... drinking another cup of fizzler.
The albino squirrel decided to follow Kindle (unoticed to Abbot), but she used the front door, and went around back.
Martin looked back and saw Keen by himself and walked up to him. "Where's Kindle?" he asked.
Keen
"back in my hometown... when the guys would chase the girls they liked, but the girls didn't like them.. the boys would get hurt. understand?" he asked
It's not like that Keen. This is Agutrot. You start a fight with me in here we are both dead."
"do you sell empty storage rooms made specifically for hiding?" Eveth replied to the waitress' question.
OOC: whats the possessive form of waitress?
Kindle
she walked around the town for a little bit. she didn't know she was being followed so she entered a small house.
Keen
"ahh i see... you have two things wrong there. for one im not the one that would be hurting you, thats Kindles job. second if we start a fight here you would die not me, see mouse... i belong here. you however are a stranger and these people" he looked around the tavern "don't like strangers that much."
OOC: waitresses

"why what type of question is that?" she laughed. "there are storage facility near the docks if that be what your looking for." the waitress replied.
Martin walked out of the tavern and followed Kindle's tracks. ( he has had ranger training.)
OOC: thats kinda unbelievable. not the fact that he has rangers training but that he could pick out hers in a town full of people that go from place to place. Martin would have better luck following Keen and trying to see if he meets her again.
Martin began to search the whole town for clues of her werabouts. He asked creatures and looked for trails.
"aye i see this lady, she go into hers home over there" the creature said pointing to the house Kindle went into
Thanks" said Martin flipping him a coin and running into the house.
Kindle
the house was empty, she went to the chimney and climbed in it. there she waited as the floor slowly went down from her weight. this house was made for stowaways, and people that need to escape from enemies... this case, Martin.
Keen
he started to jump around singing with the others when he saw Eveth. he walked up to him, the hare was talking to some of the bar tenders. "hey pal." Keen greeted as he sat next to him.
Martin walked in and said, "Kindle! I won't kill you! Just come out I want talk!"
Kindle
she started to walk through the under ground walkway, it was wet and dark. the chimney squeaked as it went back to normal position.
OOC: the squirrel will be there before you do so let Danfloofguba post first.
OOC: dude he takes forever
BIC: "Kindle please! I just want to talk!" said Martin looking around.

"Foresta" had let Martin go ahead of her... Martin obviously did NOT know his way around here. She had been in a similar fix as Kindle once, and knew the outlet to the tunnel... As well as shortcuts to get there.

she kept going threw the tunnel wondering what Keen meant by "see you soon" and where she was going.
Martin couldn't get her to come out so he began looking around for clues.
OOC: the house isn't in use so its really dusty, Martin can see (because he has ranger training) pawprints tot he fireplace.

he got up from his seat and went behind the counter, the kitchen was back there. Keen looked at the chefs and the nodded that he was aloud back here. Gently he moved a table over relieving a hidden tunnel.
Well what do we have here?" said Martin going into the tunnel.

The white squirrel was already on the other end, waiting for Kindle.
Martin forward through the tunnel not knowing where it would lead him.
OOC: andrew, do you know where the tunnel leads? because if you do than i will say the your charator is hiding where Keen can't see her.

he reached his paw deep into the hole when he touched something, pulling it up he took a good look of what he just fished out of the dark hole. "why hello there Kindle"
Martin saw movement ahead so hurried up.
Kindle/Keen
she greeted Keen with a warm smile. "the mouse is following me still." she pointed out.
"no need to worry." he responded while moving the table back and sitting on it, he smiled back at her.
"perfect" she told him while tossing a bag of gold.
"just the right amount." he confirmed while counting it "the boat leaves soon, you might want to leave fast."
"thanks" after that she left to the boat.
Martin reached the spot and started to hack away at the table with his sword.
OOC: correct me if im wrong but isn't martin's sword long? because the tunnel is very small and stabbing it wouldn't do much.

"cool down Martin!" Keen yelled so the mosue could here him. "thats not gonna do any good."
Keen! I just want to talk!" yelled Martin.

"ok then, lets talk." he yelled back
What's with Kindle?"

he heard some noise in the back of the kitchen, probably that squirrel following Kindle. "well she's a spy, a really good (bad) spy that has found out the layouts to your new abbey." he answered "anything else you want to know?"

"you that in her eyes you are the bad guys and she is the good guy. just like the spies you have spying on the vermin."
Martin was very sad and said, "Why are you holding me back?!"
Keen
"what am i holding you back from?" he asked although he already knew

"is that what you really want? how about this, you tell me what you want to talk to her about and i will get off this table."
Ok I want to ask her one last time if she will turn back from spying for the vermin and come back to St. Ninians with me."
Keen
"she won't, i promise... she will stab you in the back before she turns to you and the Abbey." he got off the table. the weight was still to much for Martin to lift. "the ship she's going to is called "Gollis" if you run back threw the tunnel you might make it before it sets sail."
Thanks Keen. I regret ever fighting you." said Martin running back.
The white squirrel was already off towards Kindle again... Fate seemed to be drawing her to the mouse, but she managed to shout back to Keen unbeknowest to Martin,"Thou has a liers tongue my friend, that boat is leaving far too soon for Martin to make it back in time!"
Martin jumped out and said, "What?!"

Maritn got out of the hole and ran towards Kindle's ship. He got there just as it left.

The white squirrel saw the ship readying to leave. She was able to get the captains attention, as well as book herself a spot on board, just before the ship left... She began to search for Kindle, having made sure this was her ship.
Kindle
she was up on the crows nest, watching the shoreline. she saw Martin and Keen standing next to eachother.
Keen
"ahh, i see you missed your chance." he told martin while walking up to him. the cold mist of the water splashed ageist their fur.
Martin threw his sword into the ground and said, "I will get my vengeance.."
Keen
"pick that sword up, were leaving in a few minutes... then you can get on with your pointless drama." he said while walking down the docks to a ship names "Intrepid"
Martin sighed and followed.
Keen
Keen came off the boat and stopped Martin from coming aboard "get in." he whispered to Martin as he opened a wine barrel that was empty.
Martin jumped in and didn't say a word.
Keen
Keen nailed it shut and carried it over his shoulder. once on the boat he thought about throw it over board into the crashing waves but decided not too. he brought the barrel down into his room and set it down. "ight! you good." he said while tapping on the top of the barrel. he was hopping Martin would try to jump out of the barrel, hitting his head on it since it was nailed shut.
Martin knew better than that and slowly open the top.
Keen
he saw that Martin wasn't going to fall for it, and that he was trying to open it up. Keen grabbed a small knife and wedged the barrel lid open.
Nice try." said Martin winking at him.
Keen
he smiled while helping the mouse out of the barrel. someone walked in the cabin "what are you doing in that barrel? i thought it was monkeys in a barrel, not mice" the rat joked. "this is Clay, the captain of this ship." Keen introduced
OOC: im not gonna make a profile for him because he wont be used much.
Nice to meet you." said Martin getting out.
so this is the stowaway. yes my men told me about him acting stupid at the taven. best make sure you stay hidden and my men don't find you, you might fall over" he laughed while leaving the cabin
Marrtin looked at Keen and said, "Uh.. he is a.. pleasant fellow."
