I'm just going to state a few fan-fics I've got planned here, feel free to announce some coming fanworks of your own or just comment on others.
Okay, so for me, after I finish Pondicherry, I'll be doing a story entitled "The Warrior's Way". It'll have the story behind my chosen screen-name--WarriorOfMossflower--featuring a young warrior squirrel who comes to save Mossflower and Redwall Abbey in a time of great need.
After that, I dimly have plans for my next story, untitled so far. It will have something to do with Noonvale, and Martin's journey south to Mossflower, and a few little sidequests he was led astray on as he travelled.
Anyone else have plans for their own fanworks?
After I write The Blade of Noonvale I'm gonna write a book called, The Pirates of Redwall
Nice.
Right now, I'm into edits of my Vermin Badger series - First story is tentativly scheduled for this August.
Finishing up a short - 4,000 words - inspired by the recent political climate called "A Change of Habits"
Still working on my Dracula in Redwall type story. Part One is done, but needs further edits. Part Two is in initial draft - aka - verbal vomit stage.
Great, cairn!
Well, I just finished my first ever fanfic, Blackness, though it doesn't look like many people are reading it. Of course the unfortunate part is that I actually really enjoyed writing about those characters, but due to the nature of the story and its ending, I can't actually write more about them. D: Though one thing my best friend suggested (and this would be more of just a personal writing POV exercise, probably not something I would post) was writing the same story out again but from the OTHER main character's point of view. Or I could just write a sort of prequel thing, but I doubt it.
The only other fanfic I've really thought about writing is less a stand-alone fanfic as it is just writing out the history of an RP character I'm using on the MUCK AS a story, though I think it would make a good story too. Dunno if I'll actually get around to that, though.
My Redwall novel is entitled Brigg.
I'm writing it as practice before I start work on my original project. Here's the blurb for it:
"In which the rat Brigg, rescued and raised as an infant by farmer mice, comes to Redwall and must prove his worth when he is blamed for vermin entering the Abbey and exiled. But not everybeast's path follows the way of the warrior..."

I'll try to read it in my spare time.
What was your name on the MUCK? I was LukeTheWarrior before I found here.

Sounds interesting, Flandor, send me a message when you post it! I like the stories of vermin who are exiled from Redwall, like in Outcast of Redwall.
@Something Horrifying: I read your story; I really enjoyed it :)
@Warrior: I will definitely message you when I start posting it. I probably won't until book one is finished.
After I finish writing The Ranger's Adventure, I will make the sequels. I'm making a serie about it. The main character is Maximus the Ranger.

Thanks! If you do, I'd love to hear what you think!
And I'm pretty new to the MUCK, but my characters are currently Lillian and Damyan (though I've only been using Damyan recently).
Flandor-- Thanks! Really glad someone liked it. :D Sorry I hadn't replied to your comment on it yet, I was hoping I'd get feedback from a couple more people first, so I could reply to them all at once...but I never did. lol
And I'll keep an eye out for your story too! In case you couldn't tell, I am aaaall about the gray area, and love rats. XD Both my characters I mentioned on the MUCK happen to be rats, and different levels of gray (Damyan, an ex-searat, is the one I mentioned maybe writing the story about).
I lurv rats. I have pet ones and they're such great animals :) plus there's Blaggut and Grubbage who are pretty awesome.
Grubbage is hilarious.
Chapter 5 is finished, if ye wanna check it out, Flandor.
Well, I planned to write a oneshot that's a sequel to 'How to be a Seer'. I haven't started it though.
I'm writing a story called The Lost Adventures of Martin the Warrior, but it's on my co-writers profile on Fanfiction.net. I'm also planning to do one about the origins of Salamandastron
I'm trying to do one about this isle in the way way south that no one knew about, and then a pine marten corsair finds it, and he makes his way to Redwall with a huge army, but I'm not so good at writing, so it might be kinda pathetic.

I am going to suggest you do something dirty ............... outline your idea
You already have the start - the island. And you know the final battle scene, so start asking yourself the big five and work it into an outline.
How does your main character get to the island?
Why should anyone follow him?
How do they get off the island?
What does your main character want?
What objectives prevent him from winning?
Who oppesesses him, and
whyWhere are you going?(does Redwall have to be the objective?
Haha, just realized I never posted the idea of the fanfic I'm writing now (or, brainstorming now, and writing soon). It's gonna be a pretty bizarre and kind of twisted thing, about a vermin crew that sails into a giant whirlpool like the one in The Bellmaker...and there's something horrible down there. I'm gonna be doing it in first person, which is a first for me. Not sure yet if I'll be able to post it on the forum, it might be too disturbing. Hopefully not.
I'm planning on writing two other fanfics based on some RPs.
I'm probably not gonna finish the "Thunder's Roar". If I don't leave I might write a better fanfiction featuring some RP characters.
Was going to write prequal to Outlander
My work on Brigg has been put on hiatus as it's confusing to write it while I RP as Brigg in a different storyline. I've been working mostly on an original novel, but have also begun a Redwall tale as a side/fun project.
It's about a rat lieutenant in a vermin fortress who begins smuggling slaves to safety, though his intentions are unclear. It's been an interesting project to work on.
The characters so far:
Kessy- a shrewmaid and slave at the fortress. She works on the fishing boats. Isn't the most intelligent creature, but is brave and strong of spirit, not having been a slave long enough for her will to be broken.
Cottle- Kessy's otter friend. He is stout of build and not as athletic as many otters, and hasn't got the most sense, but is generally good-natured and very loyal. Would give his life for Kessy or his family.
Lt. Slandersnout AKA "Ander"- an anomaly among rats. He is well-read, intelligent, and soft-spoken. It is unclear what his reasons are for helping slaves to freedom, but he despises things he deems "unclean." He was raised in a chaotic vermin burrow, full of dirt and disgusting habits. His personality became very prim and he keeps himself flawlessly groomed.
Those are the only characters I've had to introduce in any detail so far. I'll be posting this here and on ff.net when I finish it.
I'm still working on The Wayward Fox. I have the full plot planned out, there's still a fair bit left to go. However, I am currently working on my first full novel, which I intend to finish before coming back to the Redwall stories.
Future fanfiction includes a potential sequel to The Wayward Fox, continuing the story and adventures of Bryn the fox!
I'm very pleased to hear that so many of you are working on fanfictions! Keep it up, I anticipate seeing them on this forum sometime!
You know it. I'll be uploading the first "book" of my series right after Labor Day. Should take me 9 weeks at three chapters per week. Don't worry, all chapters are 3,000 words or less.
No promises on how good they'll be, but for the past 3 months, I've been working on a HUGE fanfiction endeavor... The overall title is going to be something like, "Lost Tales of Redwall." :o

Yay!
Oh god suddenly another fic idea. *falls down dead* Hopefully I'll actually do something with this one? All I have so far are two main characters in development, an idea of the relationship between them, a name for one of them, and a vague plot idea. More character-focused stuff about "vermin" characters in the gray area, with complicated relationships. Like I could do anything else ever. ::) (Well, my last idea was character and story focused...but it never happened, so...lol I still hope it will eventually, though. Psychological and disturbing Redwall fanfic totally needs to be a thing.)

Working on this again. :B
(Someday I'll actually finish something before getting distracted by other ideas. XD)
Sounds cool!
I'm working on a fanfic I call Crest Rise. The chapters 1 - 9 are on ff.com, but it is horribly written, I now realize, and I am trying to find time around school to rewrite it. Thank goodness for me getting a week off for thanksgiving!
OOPS haha just kidding I forgot for a moment how it is that my brain works and thought I would actually be able to work on the story I wanted to work on BUT NO. My brain went "oh, you'd like to work on that fanfic? okay, that's cool i g--OOPS i accidentally all the ideas for that other fanfic instead?"
True story. :I
So now I'm working on my third fanfic idea. Maybe this one I'll actually do, and then I can do others? Or I'll probably get distracted in like two days and work on something else instead. No wonder I never accomplish anything...
Does anyone else have this problem?
Quick question: Does anyone read my The Mysterious Stranger fanfic? Just wondering.

Yep! I suffer from the TOO MANY IDEAS IN ONE HEAD disease, too! I have one Fanfic that has like 20 chapters down on paper(
Crest Rise) one that only has 4 chapters called
Terror from the North, And one I started 2 weeks ago called
Midnight's Hour. All are Redwall fanfics. I have attempted doing several more, but I couldn't get into the characters and really see them so I gave up on them, that happened to about 2 or 3 of them, all during the summer when I had time...
And I will most likely be unable to finish any of them, but I write anyways(:

Oh man, at least you START things, and make progress! XD I usually get stuck in the planning stages. I'm absolutely amazed I was able to finish
Blackness, and that was only a short one-shot (I'm pretty happy with it though). I think I only finished that because from the first idea to completion only took two days, so I didn't have TIME to get distracted, I just stayed up all night writing. My other ideas are multiple chapter stories, and take a bit more planning... (And naming more characters. D: )
I figured out a bit more about the one I'm trying to work on now, though, including the mechanics...and the ending! Hooray.
I get that problem too...I REALLY want to work on a certain fanfic, but my brain wants to work on another one. I usually give in.
That's why computers have the ability to save files. Put each in a separate folder or file and work on the one that inspires you today. You're under no time restriction.
I'm gonna make a fanfic about a future Badger Lord's adventure. I'm not that full of ideas, so feel free to post an idea within the guidelines on my idea thread!
I'm pretty close to done with the first chapter of this fic!
Now the problem is, before I can post it...I need a title. o____o
I'm gonna do a saga of before Stonepaw, and kinda provide a backup story of why hares follow badgers. It will have one huge group of all the vermin, led by a black bear named Vermin, the start of all vermin.
I'm thinking of making a fanfic about Cluny's history. How he lost his eye and all.
I'm going to do a fanfic on Romsca

Not working on this yet, since I'm writing Recovery right now, but I doodled the ship's captain, so I figured I'd post it as a sort of update. (Posted it in my art thread too, but since it was a fanfic oc concept doodle, I thought it was relevant here.) The captain becomes slowly more twisted and horrifying throughout the story. This is probably near the beginning of his transformation--I might give a later stage a try later. I do certainly love drawing monsters. ;)

I'm working on Shellhound right now(for Leatho Shellhound's fanfic contest), but I might start another in the summer.
Oh no and then I had two new fanfic ideas aaaugh.
Both would be pretty short, and I might even start one before I finish Recovery, to have two things to work on? We'll see! I am DETERMINED to complete Recovery, and am still pretty inspired to do so! It'd just be sorta nice to have another project too, for when I'm in the mood to write, but not wanting to work on that story.
Both my new ideas are pretty dark, and I'll probably share a brief summary of at least one of them soon~
