Try to top the poem that the person above you composed, or give your verdict.

Redwall Feast Song
Welcome to the feast,
There's soup, and pudding, and bread,
Nothing will ever be the least,
In the abbey of red.
There's cordial, wines, and ales,
You won't leave underfed.
On the floor, thump your tails
In the abbey of red.
Watch that hare,
Or you won't get fed.
This sort of food is rare,
In the abbey of red.
Come in the door,
The friar has led,
His helpers out for more,
In the abbey of red.
Eat what you like,
There's more, don't go to bed
Come in, you on a hike,
In the abbey of red.
The otters sup some shrimp soup,
While with scones the dibbuns fled,
The moles, their pie they scoop,
In the abbey of red.
You will always be welcome,
Are you all fed,
Beasts are seldom.
In the abbey of red.
Redwall Abbey bids you good day,
Here's some more, for while you tread.
Or would you like to stay?
In the abbey of red.

Ohoho! Is it now? Guess I'll pull out some old poems I have on here.

Ballad Of Brockhall

Once a place named Brockhall,
Filled with Badger Lords,
Welcomed woodlanders all,
But ruled a bally horde.

But one day twas abandoned,
An' nothing left to forget
Cobwebs over hanged,
Or held a big sticky net.

Chairs and tables eroding,
Back into the soft Earth,
Silverware now rusting,
A dusty, old, black hearth.

Tis abandoned now,
Only Salamandastron,
Badgers and hares alike,
West to the sea they've gone.

Warriors to the core,
Fighters they can be,
But none remember Brockhall,
It's location a mystery.

Burlin Greem

A mole named Burlin Greem,
The Foremole, had a team,
He'd dig all night, Cause it felt right,
To dig to home he deems.

His team at Redwall Abbey,
Their claws were less then flabby,
They're clumsy and weak, They'd break a beak,
But they could be very naggy.

So Foremole helped them out,
A burly otter work out,
Lifting weights, Shifting plates,
Pain that'd make you pout.

But Foremole's team was strong,
A guess by the Abbot wrong,
That they would fail, Not prevail,
And they pulled through singing this song.

Now don't forget Burlin Greem,
Because he had a dream,
To change the moles, He set their goals,
To become the best mole team.

"By Myself"
(As inspired by Eloise Greenfield)

When I'm alone,
I close my eyes,
I go to my place,
Of paradise.
I am a paintbrush in an artist's pallet,
I am a needle I use to knit,
I am a beaches grain of sand,
I am a sweet candy lollipop,
I am a trumpet in the army band,
I am a yellow lemon drop,
I am a bird that doesn't like heights,
I am a cat roaming the nights,
I am a cactus in the desert by myself,
I am a little Santa's elf,
I am a cheetah running across a plain,
I am a toothbrush brushing away,
I am an otter in a dam,
I am a Redwaller,
When I open my eyes and the alarm clock rings,
I know to myself I am all these wonderful things.

Top THIS Dannflor! ;D Good luck. ;)

Easily,

For the stars you climb
You left us for the soil
None can escape the paws of time
We thank you for all your hard work and toil,
You will live on in the memory of everybeast
We will remember your time
And now that your life has ceased
A bell for you will chime

Decant, but how about this?

You have not left,
in memories you will live.
We will not bereft,
There was so much you had to give.
You will come again,
Noonvale will wait.
Walk the spirit trail,
We won't forget,
Your loved will prevail,
Do not fret.
You will come again,
Noonvale will wait.
Now go to sunny hills,
And quiet streams.
Where the air stills,
Living forever in dreams.
You will come again,
For your home is here.

K! I'm back! Nice poems Dannflor. I like the sword one. Very pretty, except for the last line. Why not A sword of great length, instead of and it's of great length?

Runaway

I must runaway,
I can't stand it much longer,
I must leave this place. . .

Sword

My sword, a great blade,
Not used for evil or good,
Stainless, Keen, Sharp, Death.

In these two haiku's I'm trying to reach down into someone's heart and really put emotion in it.

 Little kitty,

I can see that! Lol  ;D

here's an otter one:

The Redwall otters are brave beasts,
They like hotroot soup for their favorite treat
With their javelins they put up quite a feat
If I was on otter, that would be neat
Skipper, Deyna, and Mhera, to name a few,
There are great otters through and through

(I made it up on the spot)

A nonesense marching song

Let me sing of a day in spring,
I was under a badger lord,
Around my waist there was a sling,
We went to fight a rat horde.
Well wadya know, there was a crow!

There was loads of vermin round,
My comrads charged,
Most of them were drowned.
My stumach was enlarged.
Well wadya know, the blinking foe!

The rats they killed my companions,
Oh no! They hurt my knee,
And in the canyons,
For my life I was asked to plea,
Well wadya know, those vermin went whoa!

I whacked a rat,
He had teeth of three
Boy, he was fat.
So he killed me.
Well wadya know, I was too slow!

So many great songs so far! Lots of talented people here.  Maybe this would fit better in the Fanworks section.

Many a fine summer's day
By the brook we would play
We would wrestle, an' tussle, an' sport
And then mother would say
Ye boys turn me fur gray!
Ye both must now come home from yer war.

An' me brother was a lad
Who were big, strong and glad
He were handsome, he were honest, he were smart.
But when the enemy came
The lads all were the same
An' they prayed they'd come home from the war.

They went marchin' away
In their uniforms gray
Their swords polished, an' spitshined so bright.
Mother cried all that day
Father knelt down to pray
That me brother'd come home from the war.

Two years they did pass
But so long did they last
The days long, an' tired, an' sore.
Then one winter's day
Under skies clouded gray
Came the boys marchin' home from the war.

They kept strict measured pace
An' I searched for his face
As I looked, my heart it did fall
For they bore him behind
On a cart, he did lie
So came my brother back home from the war.

That's a little sad one I came up with recently.  Idk if its any good.

  Shadow Wildfire

There once was a cat named Shadow
 On whose brow was Wildfire,
She was the daughter of a cat
 Who was a powerful sire.

But Shadow grew tired of that life
 She ran away from home,
She found a place called Mossflower Woods,
And there she decided to roam.

 She came across an Abbey
 By the name of Redwall,
 There she found many friends
As she wandered 'round the halls.

Shadow found she loved this place,
Much better to stay than roam.
And after staying for a feast
She decided to call this home.

It took you that long? Wow, I guess I write faster than I ever knew. I like haiku's.

Rose

A pink flower sways,
The sun fills it, energy,
Beauty for nature.

Emerald Hury

(Slow)
Emerald Hury,
A young mouse he was,
Wandered from nowhere,
No place to go caauuuuuuusse!

(Faster)
An orphaned mouse,
Living in woods,
Tattered clothes,
Could find no goods.
He built a weapon,
Made of oak,
A cannibal,
But had a stroke,

A cannibals life for Hury!

He could survive,
Anything,
From hard cold winter,
To cuts and stings.
To survive alone,
He had wander,
Away from home,
Which was very back yondeeeeeerrrr!

A cannibals life for Hury!

Ambushed one night,
By some stoats,
With a near river,
Threw them on boats.
The carcasses,
Smelled so much,
He ate them all,
For breakfast and brruuuuuuunnnch!

A cannibals life for Hury!

(Slow and sad)
But poor old Emerald,
One day died,
Another mouse,
Found im' and cried.
When her teardrops fell off,
Her light brown face,
And landed on Hury,
He winced and his heart raaaaaaaced!

(Fast and happy)
So when Hury woke up,
And saw the pretty mouse,
He thought she was beautiful,
And made the mouse his spouse! Hey!

  The Mighty Pen

A pen is a mighty weapon,
 Mightier than the sword.
With a pen you make anything happen,
But a sword can just take out a horde.

Well I do play the trumpet and I listen to music all the time. Plus, I always make up random words in poems sometimes. Like so. . .

Fiddeleerow,
I'm a mouse,
Fiddeleedee,
I live in a house,
I am an artist,
Ryshdidysh,
I am a poet,
Gergifysh.
Now these words,
Mean no thing,
Just made up,
To have a ring,
Britynu,
Expotrue,
Fliasrie,
Another day!

See?

A day can happen for anyone
one person can sing and one hum
your world can change in a blin of an eye
like wining the lottery which makes you cry

A day cna happen for anyone
one person will dance and one hum
your wourld can change in the blink of an eye
like a person being hit by a bus nearby

A day can happen for anyone

So many sad songs  :'(
We need a happy song ;D

A Happy Song

There is something I need to call,

If ever you’re depressed,

I’ll sing to one and all.

If ever you’re stressed.

Whoopdedoo, Walahoo!

You can’t be sad,

Put a smile on your face,

Now you be glad,

In merrymaking, I’m an ace!

Whoopdedoo, Walahoo!

Forget about death,

Somersault around the room,

Sing 'till you're out of breath,

Let’s make things go boom!

Whoopdedoo, Walahoo!

MatthiasMan, some short, nonsense poems are great. And I never really liked The Walrus and The Carpenter.

I'll chose a winning poem, a winning song, and honorable mentions, but remember, this is my opinion, so if I don't chose your song/poem to be a winner, that doesn't mean it isn't good. Once thirty songs are posted I'll choose the winners. I won't use my own.

Winners of the first thirty songs:

Best poem: Rainshadow’s Sing a Song of Hope poem

Best song: MatthiasMan’s Emerald Hury

Honorable mentions: Flandor's poem, Rainshadow’s battle song, Redwallgurl’s poem, MatthiasMan’s When the Wind Blows

Please name your works from now on.

Well since you started the topic obviously you'll judge. 8) And just saying, the longer the better. :)

Called Redwall Abbey/Madam Gabby (To the tune of Call Me Maybe, By Carly Rae Jespen)

I threw a coin to a star,
Don't ask, it wasn't that far,
I weaved fire to the sea,
And now it's burning through.
I cut a memory away,
Of a bad horrible day,
I fell into the sky,
And now I'm freezing through.
My vision broke down, And I fell to the ground.
All I heard was gone now. Where ya think I was now, lady?

Hey I just woke up,
In an infirmary,
Inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.
And all the mice of them,
Were staring aaat me,
Inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.
Hey I just woke up,
In an infirmary,
Inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.
And a pretty squirrel,
Named Madam Gaaaabby,
Lived inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.

I fell in love with the place,
Walked around without a trace,
Bumped into Madam Gabby,
But walked away right an' true,
I got to know her just well,
Nice and not under a spell,
I fell for her and her face,
But walked away right an' true.
Hot sun was shining, I and her were dining,
But I fell into dying'. Where ya think you're going' lady?

Hey I just woke up,
In an infirmary,
Inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.
And all the mice of them,
Were staring aaat me,
Inside a red place,
Called Redwall Abbey.
Hey I just woke up,

Inside a red place,

I wrote a poem in memory of Brian Jacques. It's also kinda a riddle. I wrote it in the style of Redwall.

"Sometimes early, sometimes late,
Sometimes no one knows my fate.
I can be red, white, or blue,
And I am always faithful and true.
Glorious, yet painful,
Sweet, yet harmful,
I can prick the toughest of paws,
Make strong creatures whimper, that's my law.
Yet all love me, despite my ways,
Though sometimes it is a passing craze.
I am sharp and soft, I am small,
I cannot be invisible at all.
So, bold one, tell me why
I can outshine even the sky."

Maybe I'll add best riddle to the scoring board. And I may ask someone to help me judge as long as they choose the songs they like, regardless of the author and not taking into account theirs.

Dancy Song

Shake your spikes,

Twitch those whiskers,

Thump your tail, 'pon the floor!

Wrestle the pikes,

Already you have blisters?

Wow, you must be sore.

(Faster and louder)

Sooooo,

Dance around,

Put shame to all,

Jig to any sound,

'Till your spawled.

Dance!

Just a quick one.

If riddles are going to be added the board then I've gotta join it.

What goes down,
And can't go up.
Keeps something to it's place.
A dark hole is based on this only.
You become blind with this hole near you.
Not visible to see.

  I got hurt today
  More than before,
  Better help me up
  Before I hit the floor

  I got hurt today
  Someone broke my heart,
  Better help me up
  Before I fall apart

  So carry me away
  Hold me with your arm,
  Carry me away
  Keep me safe from harm

  Carry me away
  To our secret place,
  Carry me away
  Safe in your embrace

  Riddle From the Night

  I hide far, far away
In the shadow of the night,
  And during the day
I don't come into the light

  Not many people see me,
  But when they do,
  They wish that they hadn't,
  Sad, yet true

  I am a wild creature
Claws as sharp as a thorn,
Anyone that tries to face me
  Will get torn.

  What am I?

Heaven

If I could switch my life,
And take on another strife,
I would let them be free,
And without such worry.

If I could gather the pain,
Of all the world in vain,
I ask my God "Oh please",
"Oh please don't hurt them, geez."

If I could gather the fire,
And make a fire so higher,
Then all the ones on Earth,
And burn the sins away.
Then I would put them in heaven,
Not inside the Devil's seven,
The seven deadly sins,
And put my liiiiiiife for theeeeeeeemmm!

All of these things on Earth,
That humans gave to birth,
Like wires and electronics,
That keep us down with the robotics.

If only the world would see,
That where we belong to be,
Is with the Christ Our Father,
In heaven for ever and eeeevvveeeeeeerrrrrr!

If I could gather the fire,
And make a fire so higher,
Then all the ones on Earth,
And burn the sins away.
Then I would put them in heaven,
Not inside the Devil's seven,
The seven deadly sins,
And put my liiiiiiife for theeeeeeeeeeeemmm! (Fade away into the song)

I wrote this song because my mom just went to the hospital and I am sad. I wish the world would see that we don't really belong on Earth. We belong in heaven. But Earth is just the test really. Sorry for all of you non-religious people. I pray for you.

  The End

  Don't worry about the future,
  Don't worry about the past.
  Don't worry about the present,
Though it won't be what you asked.

In the end it's just the present,
  No it's not the past,
Though it may look like the future,
It sure comes at you fast.

The Hopping Dragon

There once was a dragon
That lived on a mountaintop.
Where other dragons flew,
All he could do was hop.

He hopped and hopped and hopped,
The dragon couldn't stop.
He hopped and hopped and hopped,
Upon that mountaintop.

Then one day the dragon
Met a great, big finch.
The finch said, "I can make you fly,
Just give me a pinch!"

He hopped and hopped and hopped,
The dragon couldn't stop.
He hopped and hopped and hopped,
Upon that mountaintop.

The finch came to the dragon
And said, "You great, big bat!
I know what is your problem,
You just are too fat!"

He hopped and hopped and hopped,
The dragon couldn't stop.
He hopped and hopped and hopped,
Upon that mountaintop.

The dragon said to the finch,
"You just are so cruel!
I'm not fat, just look at me,
And hopping is just cool!"

He hopped and hopped and hopped,
The dragon couldn't stop.
He hopped and hopped and hopped,
Upon that mountaintop.

I Soar Atwixt the Trees

I soar atwixt the trees,
Night winds rustle the leaves,
I go when I please,
None is quick as I.
I catch insects on the wing,
Into the dark night I fling,
Fast as stone from sling,
Always higher, never just high.
A weapon I never need,
Black wings, gifted with speed,
I make others bleed,
Known as the devil of the sky,
None is quick as I.

It's a riggle!

Is this Middle-Earth, Or is it my Room?
I
Open the pages and feel a thrill,
as I gaze upon Bilbo Baggins' house Under-the-Hill
A dragon roars beneath the Moon
Is this Middle-Earth, or is it my Room?

I skip ahead, and smiling, fall
Down into Theoden's Golden Hall
I smell the hearth-smoke, and hear the knell
Of Meduseld's great warning bell

I see the ranks of snarling orcs,
Their banners of Eye and Hand
And I hide in fear from the Unholy Power
That holds fell sway at the Tower of Angband

The shadowed trees of Lorien
Their branches all a-sway
Is where I hold my respite
Along my wandering way

Look up! I see Galadriel
Who o'er Lorien gracious rules.
Her eyes the pool of wisdom
Her strength the bane of fools
Her hair more fine than golden wire
A gleaming, shining treasure
Three of which young Gloin's son
Thought priceless beyond all measure

I must not stop, though
Upon my route;
My words must tell it true
The beauty of this Parlous Realm
Is bought most dearly, too.

Down to the shadow of Moria
By the Dwarves called Khazad-Dhum
Where precious mithril, mined too deep
Brought Balin's accursed doom.
Smoke and shadow! Flash of flame!
"This enemy is beyond you!"
The Balrog lives!
"He'll slay us all!"
Regret we ever came...

To smoke and ash
And choking air
A realm of storm and fire!
The Dark Lord Sauron's
Demonic kingdom
In Mordor, his hellish lair
The Nazgul fly
On winged steeds
Their Master's fell Eye
Sees all thoughts and deeds

Despair ye not!
Light in the West is seen!
A hidden heir
Returns to his right
Look now to the righteous King!
A sword re-forged
An army raised
Prepare to fight!
Lo, pay him homage and praise!
The Captain of the Dunedain
The Hope of Man
Returns to reign again!
Estel, Ellessar
Strider, Aragorn
"Bringer of Hope to Men"
Returns for what he was born!

Oh, but what of the Halflings?
Those of the quiet path?
Called by the Rohirrim "Holbytla";
The wise Elves Periennath?

One rides with Theoden,
Winning laude and fame;
His courage without question
"It's only the length of his arm I mention."
Says Eomer, Rohan's thane.
"Ride with me!"
Says Dernhelm
(She) of the masked face
Slaying Angmar's Witch-King
Merry proves there is worth in his race

Pippin stands in white marble halls
Servant to grim Denethor
Hoping to pay for Boromir's death
By offering his own life in war.

His oath is thought rash
By one ancient and wise.
The Maia Olorin
Gandalf Storm-Crow
Mithrandir shining eyes

But, what of Frodo?
The young, reluctant Bearer?
He who carries the burdensome Ring
That slowly possessed its wearer
He walks in dark places
Smeagol-Gollum his guide
His gardener Sam
No servant more true,
Thinks the Stinker has "somethin' to 'ide!"
In Cirith Ungol
The Spider's Pass
Shelob waits in hunger
Her venomous maw
Waits for a ''sweeting''
Frodo will not live much longer...
Fly north to great Orthanc
The great standing spire
Home to Curunir -Saruman-
Word-smith, cunning liar

He who once was "The White"
Now calls himself ''Many-Colors''
He gave up his station
To capture the Ring
"Sauron does not share his power"
In the train of Saruman
Crawls the Wormtongue
Pale and weak
He whispers ill counsel
To fool old Theoden.
The hand of Eowyn he shall seek

Hie! Hie Away!
From the Realms of Men, Away!
Away, to the falling sun!

[And this thing's STILL not finished...]

::) Why does everyone love LOTR? I mean I do but geez. :P

Never ending snow,
Watch the wind blow,
A snowball fight breaks out,
And I get caught one in the face,
Pick snow up,
Shape it to a cup,
I stand up tall and look,
A barrage come straight after me.

I run out the front door with smiles in my head,
Till a snowball attack makes my nose turn red,
I fall over and laugh at the summer and spring,
We don't need to smile to really see,
What's January without  snow to bring?

This song isn't finished.

all who do are doomed to stay.
strangers, do not pass this way,
or this will be your final day.

do not cross the borderstone,
if you wish to sit in throne,
royal cowards send their best,
leaving guarding to the rest.

ambush in the dead of night,
scale the wall of mighty height,
arrows flaming, knives so bright.
all at the ready for the coming fight.

swords and shields and shining helms.
all in haste but still too late.
ambush in the heart of town,
palace of the royal crown......

strangers, do not pass this way.

Making a sound

  When You Dream

When you lie in bed tonight,
 Do not start to cry.
 Although you may miss me,
 I am still close by.

 Because when you dream,
I will be there for you.
 When you dream,
 I won't be far away.

 And when you dream,
You won't have to miss me.
 When you dream,
 I'll be there to stay.

Wow, I nearly made myself cry from this song.  Possibly it's the Inception music in the background.  I made this song because, although I wasn't very close with my grandpa, (we lived far apart from each other) I still really miss him.  He died in 2010.  This song is dedicated to my grandfather.

Left

Hup, bubby hup, bubby hup, hup, hup!
Put your left down, then your left again!
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
Your right ain't in pain?
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
That's cause yer right ain't existing!
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
Hurry up or I'll sprout a wing!

Hup, bubby hup, bubby hup, hup hup!
You're driving the sergeant mad!
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
Listen to him!
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
'In a march yer right don't exist, ole lad!'
Left, left, left, ne'er right!
Hurry, 'fore he makes yer lights go dim!
Hup, bubby hup, bubby hup, hup, hup!

Martin's poem, spoilers for Martin the Warrior:

His life was started on shores,
Up in the north,
That land of wars.
As a warrior he came forth!
Sayna was his mothers name,
Died by Daskar!
Luke would never be tame,
Till Daskar he mar!

When he was with his grandmother,
He was taken by the Tyrant!
He met those who could be brothers,
And became an aspirant.

Strung up to die,
Martin, son of Luke!
From the shore, Rose espy,
Martin, Badrang rebuke.
Grumm and Rose, with eagle cry,
And stones from ladle,
Save Martin from the seabirds from high,
For they surely would be fatal.

In the pit he met,
Felldoh so brave,
Brome, who was young yet.
They were all enslaved.
Grumm the digger,
Heads to the pit,
Or so he figure.
Scraping out the grit.
Martin's foot went through the wall,
Onto the head of Grumm.
Out the pit they crawl,
They met Rose, Noonvale from.

The vermin had holed the boats,
Grumm sat over the hole,
All hoping they could float.
Their lives where almost stole!
The fish came, bigger than life,
Rose, Martin, and Grumm,
Felldoh and Brome, all strife.
None to the sea succumb.

They met a hedgehog,
Pallum was his name,
Hampered by the log,
Wanting the Squidjees to maim.
They went down to the beach,
Dinjer, by a gannet was taken,
With a net, the nest Martin reach,
The queen was awakened.
They were released,
Martin had a blade,
They trekked opposite of east,
He never stopped loving the maid.

They found the Mirdop,
Who Rose had slain,
When they stopped,
Given scones, in fain.
Polleken saw their fate,
And sent them on their way,
She knew Martin would be great!
And hoped that they would obey.

Captured by reptiles
Saved by that heron,
Those snakes were exiled.
They rid themselves of the place so barren.

Those squirrels so savage,
Stood in their way.
Until Martin their chieftain ravaged.
But now the squirrels wanted to play!
Chased by the squirrels,
They climbed to the cave.
To Boldred they referral,
By Boldred they were saved.
Heading down the mountain,
They found a hog,
Who had cherry drinks by the thousand.
In the nights fog,
They were carried by otters,
To the Waterlily so fair,
They traveled by waters,
To Noonvale so rare.

Those were happy days,
By Martin was uneasy,
For Badrang still blaze,
But took leisure, in Noonvale breezy.

Martin and Rose,
Pallum and Grumm,
From Noonvale they goes,
To where they come.
Accompanied by Noonvalers true,
Brave and stout of heart,
But many too few.
To where they had first depart.
Boldred flew,
Headed for friends,
Their little party grew,
Tens of tens!
'Till they came,
Twas almost too late,
Their warcry's they exclaim!
To find their friend, Felldoh so great,
Had died, while laughing,
Watched by Brome,
The stoat staffing,
It was almost time to go home.

Martin led them,
So young and brave,
Badrang condemn,
By Rose, he couldn't save.
He killed Badrang,
At a terrible price,
The stoat at Rose sprang,
He killed Rose, Martin then slice,
His enemy, that stoat,
He laid next to Rose,
'We could've chopped down the tree' he note.
Rose died, them so close.
Later that fall,
Martin head southerly,
Rose he recall,
He trekks stubbornly.

This isn't the end of his story,
He hasn't found Redwall yet,
He has all his glory,
But always in his heart, a Rose is set.
I could go on,
I will go on,
But now is time to compose another.

Sorry, not to be picky and annoying or anything, but it's When You Dream, not What You Dream.  Also, I had accidentally voted for the wrong thing, do you think you could reset it or something?

  Shine

Shine and your light will go far,
If you shine like a beautiful star.
You will be a wonderful sight,
If you shine like a star, very bright.

A small Otter Ballad from the Wavedog's clan

Were The waves splash on the shore
And Otters are running about
The old ones are really a bore
when we catch a trout
Young Sarg and young rebelious Doup
The Mums a cooking in the Kitchens
Shrimp an otroot soup
The young uns playing in the sea
Loving the beautiful evening
they cry out Please let it be me
When we have the scrumptious meal
Young Dimp can Squeak A hawk to fly
In the Sky

Or

Can you skip can you Play
But not like Dannflor on a day
He Jumps and Runs and with his sword
he slices Boards

Dannflor The Tyrant Also the Trickster King
Doesn't play a game of Ding
Stab slash bump crash
The game is in the Trash

Beware of Dannflor he is vicious and vile
His paws are as hard as a bulls head once in a while
Don't shed a tear or do a jig
Cause You will never grow Big

  (REVIVE!)

Farther From the Flesh, Closer to Our God

As I glide up to the heavens,
 I look into the sky.
I see my Master's strong right hand,
As I wave the earth goodbye.

He says, "Well done, good and faithful servant!
Your time on Earth is done."
Then He takes me in his arms,
The arms of God the Son.

The Tounge of the Mind. . .The Pen. . .

The pen and my ink,
Flow fluently,
Flying across the page,
Imagining quietly.

Letting my mind,
Come out the end,
And pour itself,
For a small send.

That ink all just,
Splattered lines,
Mistakes unmade,
Living fines.

Let it flow,
Just relax,
Go and draw,
Just. . . .relax. . . .

  Flight

 I fly into the sky,
Feeling the wind on my wings.
I laugh as I feel pure joy,
And my heart begins to sing.

It's so beautiful in the sky,
So come, I'll take you there!
You'll feel what it's like to fly,
 And you can go anywhere!

Don't start to cry while we're in the sky,
 Don't ruin this wonderful time.
It's amazing to be up so high,
With the clouds and whispy lines.

Rainy your poem is great. But the only thing thats not flowing is the last line. Why not change it too:

"With clouds and wispy lines"

See the flow?

Thanks!  Yeah, I wasn't too proud of the ending.  I was being rushed at the time, and had to end it quickly.
