This game, should anyone choose to play it, will test your knowledge of and/or your ability to look up information in the Redwall series.
It's quite simple; someone will post a quote, or part of a quote, and you must post who said it, who they were speaking to (if anyone), and what book it was in. If you get it right, then you get to post your own quote.
I'll start it off, with an easier one:
Quote"Darkqueen, Rathelm, same thing. There's Waveblade, Nightwake, Crabclaw, an' Blacksail, all t' come in. Let me know the moment they anchor."
Mariel of Redwall!
That's the right book, but your goal is a tad more complicated than that; you also have to tell me who said it, and who he or she was addressing (if anyone). ;)
Big tough warrior eh'? Crying again.

It was Gabool, addressing... Graypatch, was it? I'd have to re-read it. :D
Close enough! It was Gabool addressing an unnamed group of searats. ;)
Feel free to try your own quote!
WOOHOO!
Okay, here's a good one, here's a good one:
Quote"Nah then, me blushin' beauty, ye can sleep when you've battered a few o' those vermin flat with those eyelashes, but if ye pout anymore you'll 'ave 'em dancin' on that rosy red bottom lip o' yores. Straighten yore face, miss!"

It's been so long since I read this book that I'm not really sure...was it Lancejack Wilderry speaking?
Nope! 8)
Oh wait! It was Sergeant Wonwill, wasn't it?
Yes, yes, yes! You don't have to name who he was talking to, she's a minor character. :D

Whew! I'd probably go mad as a march hare if I tried guessing who she was!
Do I post the next quote?
I think so! ;D
'Oops! I think I've broken it!'
8)
Is that in High Rhulain?
Sounds like something I would say in my house!! ;D
Is it Bella of Brockhall, when she accidentally pulled of the doorknocker at brockhall in Mossflower, talking to Martin, Gonff and Dinny?

WOOT!
Quote"Leave mah mother oot o' this, or mah blade'll find your gizzard. Aye, an' don't dare tae call me a fool!"
I'll go ahead and say it's from the Rogue Crew since not as many people have read it yet...
Oooo! And I just read this book a month or two ago! Did Rake Nightfur say it?
Yeah! Your turn! ;D
Yes! I finally got one!
"I suppose his great great auntie was called Rillbrook the Thingummy"
Probably an easy one, but it cracks me up all the time!

Burrbob, muttering to himself while Rillbrook the Wanderer was getting ready to tell a story... hey, if it's by a hare, I know it. xD Outcast of Redwall.

That one's been done already; it's Dotti Whatshername talking about Bucko Bigbones, in
Lord Brocktree.
Quote"No, I'm going to kill him!"

Oops! must have missed it...
Someone fighting over killing Gabool in Mariel of Redwall? (I forget who said exactly that but they were all fighting over it.)
It's true that they were fighting over killing Gabool in Mariel of Redwall, but this quote has nothing to do with that.
Oh! Than I don't know.
"Well, what've ye stopped for, missy?"
Dunno, but 'No, I'm going to kill him,' was Boar the Fighter talking about Ripfang, in Mossflower.
Hmm, must have caught the hem of his robe
Lord Brocktree in Lord Brocktree? I dunno. :-\
It was one of the searcers in Taggerung, when they were up in the belltower. I forget who though. I knew when I first posted it, but I forgot. ;D
Here's a tricky one for you:
"I don't know who you are, sir, but there's a whole crew of sea-raiding vermin who'll be here before too long."
Gorath the Flame, from Eulalia.
But, what, how? So quickly? I thought it was hard...
'Don't worry if der stripe'ound eats yer, mate, 'e's only jokin'.'
One of my favourite bits!

I read it recently.
"...can find 'em as easy as findin' vittles on a plate fer dinner!"
Riggan from Triss. ;D
You didn't answer my original quote.
Tiria, yours is Jungo(I think.) to Orkwil.
"Let's baffle these blighters with science!"
Basil Stag Hare addressing the vermin, talking to Matthias?
"No sense takin' chances, even if the door is soaked."
I think that ones from Marlfox but can't renember who said it
" You're a sneak Druwp, a toady."
"_____________, At your service, retired foot fighter and camoflouge expert!"
Winifred, yours is from Basil.
MatthiasMan - I know it's from Martin the Warrior. I forget who exactly said it, but I'm guessing either Felldoh, Barkjon, or Keyla.
"You will call your brat Gruven, after his foolish father."
Sawney Rath.
'It's no good knowin' what you know if you can't ask your own advice!'
Uummmm.... I don't remember who that is. Was it Rollo?
"Did you get all the prickles out? I didn't cry, did I?"
I dunno
"But rats is vurmints, an if you not shoopid, den' don't ask shoopid questions!"
Is that from Lord Brocktree?
"Say hello to the nice gentlebeast who we've never met, m'dears!"
