In order

3. Tammo
1. Rake Nightfur
2. Buckler
3. Basil Stag Hare
1. Rake Nightfur
2.Bucko Bigbones
3.Saberteche
There are so many but I might say Tammo, Big Oxeye, and Cuthbert.
3 out of dozens of awesome characters... :/
1. Dotti
2. Rockjaw Grang
3. Mad Maudie
But that's like saying which food you prefer when faced with a banquet of truly epic proportions.
I will say despite loving the Long Patrol, I find Tammo to be extremely bland - almost a vessel which you as the reader occupy.
I liked Tammo, Tammo's wife, Bucko Bigbones and many many more!
The hare that looked after Russano in Long Patrol, Cuthbert, Tammo, and those are the ones that I can think of right now

Yes he was. I love him!
Yet again I can't properly reply to this; however I remember when I read my first or second Redwall book (Lord Brocktree) I thought Dotti was a likeable character. It's so good to find female characters that are actually interesting!
I think I liked Tammo, too, but things could've changed.
1. Butty Wopscutt
2. Tarquin
3. Rosie

Rosie was OK, but I think as far as female hares went I prefer Pasque Valerian from the book
The Long Patrol.

I haven't read The Long Patrol as many times as I have Mariel of Redwall, so Rosie's still among my favorites.
Actually, I've never physically read MoR, but I've listened to my audiobook of it a dozen times. Rosie's laugh sounds so funny in the audiobook. :D
Yes, her laugh is funny on the audiobook, I listened to MoR when me and my dad were on a long road trip. :)

Have you listened to her song from
The Bellmaker that she sings? It is TERRIBLE!
