So, say Rachel comes and posts, saying :Oh, I prefer Blue." Then I check here, and give Rachy a blue dress, or something bluye. Okay? Sound easy?

  As long as it's not dorky, I don't care what you give me, I'd just prefer blood red, dark brown, dark blue, or faded green.  Choose whichever colour you want and GIVE ME A PRETTY OUTFIT!!!  >:(  ;)

  It's definitely a gorgeous dress, but I doubt I'd ever wear that.  :P  Strapless dresses are a big no-no for me, and I am not fond of shorter than knee-length dresses.  But it's beautiful!  It'd look awesome on anyone but me.  ::)

Full plate armor is fancy and nice. Have you ever seen german armor in the gothic style from the 15th century? It is insanely ornate. And expensive. And fancy and nice.

Aye. Most knights wore simpler field plate in battle. Those wre mostly for jousts, tournaments, ceremonies, stuff like that... It was like the midieval equivalent of an exceedingly fancy expensive suit.

I am aware; what I intended to communicate there was that that sort of armor was used for formal occasions, basically exactly what you just said. I just didn't communicate it as well. ;)

  No, no, I like the medievalness of it, I'm just trying to figure out how to put what I'm picturing into words.  Hmm... less baggy?  Yes, that might be it.  Still medieval-like, just less baggy so it seems a bit more modern.  (Just giving you some background on why this request is so picky: the character this is for is from a universe that's fantasy with elves, dwarves, and stuff like that, but it's modern.  It's influenced by the previous eras, though, so the clothing isn't totally modern and they don't have automobiles, but there's electricity and running water and large buildings and such.)
