Hello everyone! After much work and preparation, we have revived the old Redwall Minecraft Server! All the old locations and the 60+ warps are still their! We have fixed many of the buildings, warps, and systems! Along with all of these new things, we have upgraded the ranks and kits and create a whole new economic system led by Captain Tammo! Still, we will have roleplay and so you will need to have an application first, for you can't long on without making one. So here it is:

Now we will explain the systems we have. When you enter the world, you can also look at them there.
Ranks/Kits:
To Obtain a Rank, you must pay in game currency, which you can see by doing /bal. To get more money, you can sell items at a shop, which are located around the world. We have 30 different ranks, 16 good, 14 bad. Each rank has an upgrade such as Mole to Foremole or Mouse to Abbot. The lesser ranks like Mouse and Rat cost less than ranks like Badger and Wildcat. Each rank has a kit which includes items special to that rank. To get a rank, go to /warp RankShop and click the sign of the rank you want, and it will take away the right amount of money and give you the rank!
Real Estate:
If you see an abandoned house or building which you would like to inhabit, just contact a staff member and you will just have to pay the fee and you can own it! For more on the economic part of things, check out the MEO you spawn with made by Tammo.
Roleplay:
If you and your friends want to Rp on the server, make sure you tell a staff so everyone doesn't get confused. If you want it open for anyone to join, you can tell a staff member to add it to the Roleplay board.
Events/Contests. Every so often we will have contest and events for such prizes as Martin's Sword. Just keep looking at the board at spawn to see if there are any on going!

Well, the name is your player name. The roleplay name is the name used in roleplaying.

You need to switch your version. Start up a new minecraft, then go to edit profile. Once their, go down to use version, and select 1.7.9. Save it, then start up your game then connect.

You can build one anywhere. Staff (Most likely me) Will come and protect it. All the economy stiff can be found in the MEO's which can be found right out side of redwall in a chest.
We are trying to update to 1.8, its just many of our main plugins are still in 1.7.9. Sorry for the inconvience.

I might join. A few questions, though:
Are you going to be improving the old locations and adding new ones? If so, can any normal players help with the construction?
If I were to play as a vermin (which I probably will), will I be allowed to attack people without warning? (now, obviously, not at spawn or in Redwall or anything)
What program did you make the map with?
Will some sort of terrain regeneration plugin be added, or landscape protection rules be enacted (I consider this a must on populous servers; otherwise the landscape can quickly be decimated)
1. We have already fixed most of the Old stuff, and are currently adding new things. We might allow players to help in the future if they can build well.
2. Sure, I guess, just not anywhere that is a place of peace. It IS Mossflower of course.
3. Gears and others made the map, which is based off the map Eldaria Island.
4. We have guarded all of the main locations. The World is very large, and If we see lots of destruction, we can always use the back up.

One more thing: I moved the MEO's to the bank, and /warp MEO, for easy access.

Yeah, It was a great server while it lasted. We all gave it a good run. We tried are best but it just didn't work :(. I'm really sorry about this everyone. Its the best for everyone.

Hey guys... Wow, it's been awhile. I was an admin for the original, and a construction assistant as well. I've not used MC since, but I was still curious as to how things are going... Oh, and can someone check on the new Two Woods inn for me? It's the one BEHIND Redwall (not the griefed one in front and off to the right) I'd prefer that space be left alone.... I just might come back sometime, and would like to finish it if at all possible.

Nope. The old Minecraft server shut down due to inactivity and Gears, the owner, not having time to hold it up. We just got the map and most of the plugins and set up a bunch of new ranks, kits, and other things. We are still in 1.7.9, and we hope to update the server to 1.8 soon.

Yup! You can build your house anywhere, we just encourage it to be away from main buildings like Redwall.

Well, it's just something me and Cap'n through together. Basically, Salamandastron keeps getting attacked, and no one knows by who. The captain, Me, and some hares go looking for them. So far Rocktree, Del, Sage, and I are in it. You can join if you want. We haven't done anything in a while, but we might this week if we can all get on.
I might try it. Would I have to play a hare or can I play a Squirrel. ;D Also I have never MC RPed before so I might be slow... XP

You need to switch your version. Start up a new minecraft, then go to edit profile. Once their, go down to use version, and select 1.7.9. Save it, then start up your game then connect.
Do this in the case of switching your Minecraft Version

I was at Port Forral (behind Redwall), there were signs all over the place saying it had been raided, if any of the original builders are still here, I'd prefer to let them fix it, otherwise I'd be more than happy to oblige. Also, there's a non-canon/OOC: Construction in the side of a natural mountain if you start crossing the ocean just past said Port, I've put a notice on it, and am planning to get rid of it unless it serves an actual purpose. Thoughts?
On that subject, I think something may be wrong with Marshank. Faiy and I were exploring when we found this massive dirt roof that covers most of the inside. I don't know if it's meant to be there, so I thought I'd post.
That wasn't Marshank. Marshank is located at /warp Marshank. I have no clue what that building is.

I don't think there is a warp to that place. It is by /warp Farm and Sampetra
It's an incredibly odd building, One side is sorrounded by water doing weird stuff and there's sand in strange places.
I really want to get that dirt out and rebuild for maybe role-playing purposes. It looks great and is very well built.
EDIT: Ok, So I cleared out the dirt and built back the walls and it looks great! The warp is /warp Castle. I recommend checking it out!

Well, I found a chest full of splash potions and diamond stuff in a room, and then a chest totally full of 64-stacks of diamonds and emeralds in the attic.
Well then! I will look at it and take it out, unless Tarsl Grudd put it there.

For some odd reason which eludes all of us I went mute and add to that I was unable to hold anything in my paws or place objects... it was disconcerting to say the least. Especially when Jake tried to kill me when I was spectating. XD they where playing some kind of survival arena game. Jake came in late and missed the whole thing about my... predicament... the worst part was I knew that that was going to happen as soon as he got on but couldn't say anything!
@Dan: Yup I still want squirrel and I wanted to say this at the time but couldn't for obvious... or not so obvious reasons... but when you sunk into the floor back at the inn I thought it was sweet... and thanks for showing me the basement. ;D

No, I mean that I don't know how to get anywhere and do anything. :I There doesn't appear to be anywhere I can set up a home, I don't know how to get money to purchase anything, etc.
Oh I see. Everything is pretty close together so it is hard to get lost once you get the hang of it. You can build you house just about anywhere so long as it is not to close to a Canon structure. if you type /warp bank (I think i might be wrong about that) you will find a book in a chest which will explain to you everything you need to know about the currency system. You might also be able to find some of these books upstairs in chests in the Redwall dormitories. type /warp <most any canon structure from the books you want> and it should take you there.
If you want I can show you around some time. ;)

There's a handy little command.
/kill @e[type=EXPorb]
(I'm not sure if EXPorb is the right entity name, you'd wanna check that or you might accidentally kill every entity on the server. Which would be bad.)
Replace EXPorb with whatever entity name you like, it's a super useful command. :D
We actually have a lagg clearing plugin that lets us do /lagg clear <what ever>. It can do mobs, extra chunks, entities, and a bunch of other stuff. Really helps with the Lag!

Hey, who spawned the Ender Dragons? Don't do that again, I had to kill them, and then go destroy both of their pedestals, and destroying Ender essence is a pain in the butt. Not to mention you managed to take a chunk out of the local mountain and forest when whoever did it got them out of the Ender portal which I also destroyed.

So, uh, who spawned the Ender Dragon by my hideout? I was caught by surprise and died two times before I managed to kill it. I blocked up the portal and put a warning sign on it.
EDIT: I was also attacked by a second Ender Dragon which vanished after killing me. I have put notices regarding the portal and second Ender Dragon up on the notice board outside of the Abbey.
I honestly have no clue. I will look into it soon.

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry for disappearing, The server is all paid for and should be up!
Can you access it through a cracked account? My friend told me that you could access Minecraft servers through a cracked account. :P
Hmm, Well cracked accounts work on servers that are "offline". An "offline" server basically means a server that does not run the player that is trying to connects information through Minecraft.net and confirm they paid for minecraft. An Online server is one that does run the information through Minecraft.net and will not let players connect if they have cracked accounts. I'm pretty sure this server is online to prevent players from logging in as other people (which you can do in Offline mode) But if you have a cracked account I bet we could work out a way to get you on ;D.

When I tried to connect to another server it said that some sort of account verification or something was down for "cleaning", so no one can connect to the server.

I'm here to talk about the server.. The reason the server has not been up is because of the server host.. And the news isn't to good...
The most recent payment did not go through... Even though I paid for it.. It somehow didn't go through. Long story short... the server has been deleted by the are host... :-\. That means everything is gone.. Well, not exactly everything. Just everything that has happened since we made the new server.. Were not exactly back at ground 0, More like ground 40? At least we have the original map of redwall.. But everything else.. Is erm.. gone...
Gonff and I are still committed to getting the server backup, Helping everyone out with the stuff they lost.. And adding lots of really cool new features and ways to keep the server popularity going. With special events, Castle sieges, fun minigames, and some really cool other stuff! We will also implement new ideas to keep the server always new and exciting. We will also have set "Roleplay times" for minecraft Redwall roleplaying. At the moment Gonff and I are both starting up school again so it will probably be 2-3 weeks before we can start working on the Redwall Minecraft Server 3.0? I know many of you are probably upset... And we understand this. But we promise we will try to make the new server better then the first.
