Alright so Dane is spelt Dain and most of my family thinks it's supposed to be pronounced "Dine" and according to Christopher Tolkien, Peter Jackson cannot be counted upon to do Middle Earth justice and I never hold film adaptations word with any authority

Also I hate Thanduil

Were you replying to someone when you said you never held film adaptations to be an authority, or did you just decide to say that?
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

I just decided to say it, relating to what Chris Tolkien said
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Delthion

I like Thranduil because he was a skilled fighter, was going to banish Tauriel for liking Kili, and the concern for his kingdom, he was experienced and wise, except for the case of the jewels that the Dwarves owed him during the sundering. (Not sure what the feud between the Elves and Dwarves is called, so I'll call it the sundering.)
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

He didn't banish her because she liked Kili; it was because she left Mirkwood against his orders.

Gah! Yeah sorry Jet.

And I agree with you, Thranduil kinda sucks
I am a squirrel, an otter, a mouse, a fox, a stoat, a ferret, a weasel, a wildcat, a hare, a hedgehog, a badger; I am the master of disguises, The Mask.
