Our badgers do look very distinguished and proper, don't they? Frankly every major animal species featured in Redwall is adorable irl. Even wolverines.
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Yeah, European badgers are also pretty chill as well. If American badgers or heavens foirbid, honey badgers ever made it into Redwall they'd be non-stop bloodwrath machines.

The Grey Coincidence

I would love to throw in a chaotic Honey Badger. Think Gulo on steroids.

That is not a pleasant image.

The Grey Coincidence

But like... we'd then have an epic battle between a noble badger... named... Honey... and the Honey Badger!

How big would honey badgers be?

The Skarzs

On average, honey badgers are smaller than European badgers. . . They just don't care if something is bigger than them. Their self-percieved size is much larger than what they actually are.
American badgers are also smaller than European badgers.
Cave of Skarzs

Cave potato.

The Grey Coincidence

Smaller than a badger is still bigger than the pore mice and shrews

Dante8002

A Hare or an otter would not be twice as a mouse! Three quarters at the least. But I do think Badgers would be giants.
Yalahoo!
