Although Rusvul's bud killed one.  Agreed!

Who said Janglur is my friend? He was out to undiscriminately kill every single Marlfox. Whether or not they had ever done anything to show that they could be any type of threat, or not.

I voted for the monitor lizards because they were intriguing, but we didn't see much more of them. Where did they come from and how did Mad Eys manage to control them? Maybe a threat Woodlanders and Vermin can team up against...

If monitor lizards weren't listed, I would have voted fox. I think foxes are pretty clever- I loved the spy-vs-spy warfare that went down in Redwall. Urgan Nagru and Silvamord were pretty clever, and the Marlfoxes go without saying.

I absoflippinlutely love Foxes and Monitor Lizards in the redwall series, but I had to go with cats. Maybe because I was born with two cats, have two new cats, has an uncle who owns about 7 or 8 cats and just generally thinks cats are cool in the redwall series.
