The Chase

  The Mask glared at Vash.  "Alright, weasel, I'll let you go.  You must be out of my sight by the time I count to 'ten', or I'll slay you!  One, two, three..."

[Quickpaw]

"Um, uh, if you say so, sir." he said, slowly walking back before turning and going.

Aticaus slowed and looked up at Anna, breathing hard, "No. I'm old. I can't run fast for long."

  Anna kept flying, panting hard.  She wasn't very fit because she had no reason to be.  She never flew for very long, let alone fight while midair.
  "Well," she said, feeling the hare's pain, "just keep running as fast as you can."

"Run?" Aticaus wheezed, "Now, I can barely talk." He stumbled, and grabbed onto a tree for balance. He let himself slid down and sat there, fighting to breath steady.
