Gonff the Mousethief

I like more down to earth medieval books
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

i think i'm probably the only guy here who isn't big on fantasy novels. redwall is a bit of an odd addition to my favourite books, as you may see from my list;

to the lighthouse by virginia woolf
brave new world by aldus huxley
1984 by george orwell
watership down by richard adams
the conquest of happiness by bertrand russel (not a novel, but a fantastic book nonetheless)
it was the strangest thing today
i studied footprints in abandoned pathways
'neath forgotten undergrowth something stirring again
you were a single red blood cell and I lost you in this knot of capillaries
but you were bringing me oxygen when I needed it most in the smoke
