I hate magic as I said earlier if there was magic in Redwall then wouldn't be allowed to read them  :( I've never watched Harry Potter and don't want to because my mum did some research and found out that the spells in Harry Potter are real magic spells magic isn't pretend it's real and is the power of dark spirts and I don't want to fill my head with such things so sorry Romsca I was going to read your story but now if I do I'll get in a lot of trouble with my mum and dad so I won't be reading it sorry  but I can't go against my beliefs  :(
Erm, spells in Harry Potter are not real spells... "Wingardium Leviosa", for example, is just J.K. Rowling taking the words "Wing" and "Levitate" and turning them into something that sounds magic-y. There is no harm in books related to magic, as it doesn't work IRL, but if you or your family believe otherwise, I won't stop you :).

DOCTOR: How is that news to anyone?

"I am Yomin Carr, the harbinger of doom. I am the beginning of the end of your people!" -Yomin Carr

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

And remember to disregard any sources concerning witchcraft written by residents of Salem, Massachusetts (That was a joke, Ha.  Get it?).  Anyway, I like magic in Redwall as a fandom thing, but I'm not sure what my feelings would be if it was canon.

The magic spells in Harry Potter aren't real (even if you believe in magic spells). They were entirely made up by JK Rowling. No doubt other busy-bodies came along and compared them to "real" spells and started complaining about it, a bit like religious fanatics complaining about the Dan Brown books. It's that mis-information that your parents probably found.

Yah. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of magic in the world, but I bet it's not anything that's ever been portrayed in a book. Sort of like how there's almost definitely aliens somewhere in the universe, but how whatever we imagine them to be, we are going to be wrong.
