Wow, I didn't notice the news at the top of the page until today

Was it just added or is it just me?

No, he meant the flash banner telling the latest updates on the site. It has been there for a long time.

That's been up for about as long as I can remember. It used to change between several different stories, but for some reason that functionality stopped working, and we never did figure out what was wrong with it.

EDIT: Well, scratch that last part. It's actually a problem with Chrome (and I guess Safari, and every other modern browser I've used). If you look at the forum in IE, it works fine.
