Today I'm going to a Six Flags Amusement Park! So I thought I'd make a thread for us to discuss those.

I enjoy amusement/theme parks! Don't get to them often, unfortunately. And boy, are they expensive!

I've mainly been to ones in England, but also about two abroad.

I enjoy fast rides. I think if you're going to pay the money it's good to tackle the big rides!

The really frustrating thing about theme parks is how bloomin' long you have to queue for the rides. Before you know it that's another hour in your day gone and you can find you've only done a few of the big rides (like was the case in Disneyland Paris). So annoying! I wish they could do more to tackle that.

Not only crowded with long queues, but over-priced as well.

There aren't really any amusement parks in New Zealand. The only one that's remotely close to it is a little one in Auckland called Rainbow's End, mostly aimed at little kids. There's also the annual Easter Show which has temporary rides for that long weekend.

The Rovio company is planning to build an Angry Birds amusement park.

Disney......Disney......Disney. :D :D

Yes its obvious which park I favor.  I don't let the crowds get to me....there's always going to be grumps out there.  Of course its expensive, but if you get deals and perks, its reasonable (for me anyway).  I don't usually go crazy for merchandise, but I do have some things that I do cherish.  I haven't seen a Six Flags in years.  Do they still have the Bugs Bunny characters there, or did they migrate over to Universal....another park I last saw in...2003 I think.

I went to the one in Quebec, which was awesome! I loved it!

Here is the park I went to: http://www.laronde.com/larondeen/

And luckily, the lines were very short. But then, the biggest attraction was closed for the day.

They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I used to leave out half my sentances, but now I

We have one that is about tow-and-a-half hours away from my house called "Wild Waves". Me and my family go there every summer (We just went there a few weeks ago). Its really fun! They have HUGE, HUGE, HUGE water slides, and lots of them!

Life is too short to rush through it.
