So I recently made a few simple recipies that I thought you guys would like...

The first is a homemade hummus recipie, it's quite spicier than other hummus. If you don't know what hummus is, it's a flavored paste made with chick peas.

You'll need a food processor to mix the ingredients.

Two cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped up.
A half lemon, squeezed.
Two tablespoons of ground cumin
One teaspoon of smoked papirika
One teaspoon of salt
Chickpeas (note - the less chickpeas, the less of cumin and papirika)
Olive Oil (no specification, just pour for 7-10 seconds)
Water (to loosen the mix and make it less thick. More chickpeas means you need more water)
Tahini: Optional. If added, put in a quarter cup.

Mix, then taste test and check to see if it needs more of anything.
Hummus stays good for several days. You can eat it with carrots, chips, on toasted bread with cheese, in a burrito... the options are endless! Like I said at the beginning, it is spicier than other hummus, with the papirika.

If you end up making it, tell me what it tastes like!

What kind of chip do you suggest go with hummus? Like, pita chips, tortilla chips?

Pita. Totally. Or, better yet, matzoh bread. It's sooooo good with hummus. But you probably don't have any on hand, do you?
