If a car crashes into a deer, the passengers of the car might be injured or killed.

. . . . . . .

That makes sense, I suppose. Thanks, Rus.

Hey, guys, this is kind of off-topic here, but I'm still confused. Deers kill people?! How-? I seriously don;t get this. For ten years, I lived in a place where white tail deer were in abundance. I'd hand feed them (Things like fruits and veggies, people! Not stuff that could hurt them.), pet them, heck, one time I even played with one!
And now I see that deer kill people? I'm. . . . . . Confused, to say the least.

They DO have the strength to do so (getting attacked by one could cause you severe injuries) but that just isn't in their nature.

I can't say I really like deer that much... their population is way too high where I live, and they're degrading the forests. (Which wouldn't happen if we re-introduced things like bears and wolves, but no one wants to do that)

A quick google search says there have been reports of male deer attacking people, such as a man tending his garden, then getting attacked by the deer. It was possible the stance that the man had, (bending down to plants) could possibly have been a challenging stance, and the deer...head butted him. Violently. Male deer antlers and peoples heads don't mix. There are many reports like that.
(I tried to de-graphic it, the report used more colorful language then head butting.)

However, the majority of deaths caused by deer is by car crashes.

No more explanation necessary - I've seen male deer scrubbing the fuzz off their antlers - And the trees afterwards - Often enough. And yes, the man was likely in a challenging stance, . . . Either that, or the poor thing was crazy.

YOU DON'T LIKE DEER?! But they're the sweetest things! (You know what, we may want to take this conversation somewhere else. Feel free to PM me if you like; I'm really interested in this, Iz)

We drove up to our house one night, and my car was just chillaxin' next to a deer. The deer bolted when he saw the car, but the cat just watched us. :P
Ok, someone get this back to sharks.
