I just saw Jurassic World today! It's awesome!

If you've already seen

Okay, so I REALLY liked the scene where they find the old visitor center from the original. A nice nod toward the first fim.

I saw it last night! I  REALLY liked it!

The end was awesome! I did some research, and the T-rex in the end was the one from the first movie! To add to it, I loved the symbolism when killing the Indominous. It look a T-rex and Raptor to make it, and it took that to kill it (Mostly). The one thing that I thought was odd was that it could camouflage, but it only used it once. Finally, I was so sad when it killed all of the bronchiolsauruses. Those are my favs.  :'(.

I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Nice!

Spoiler
How 'bout how they have such awesome tech? I loved the control room.

. . . . . What's Jurassic World? (Hey, I've only seen Jurassic Park in the past year!)

Gonff the Mousethief

The new Jurssic Park movie. That made Jurassic Park 2 and 3, but this seems to really be the true sequel. Basically, they re did the park and made a new dinosaur, and well, you can see what happens there.

I really loved how they recast the same actor who did Dr. Wu.

The guys at Cinemassacre seem to be crazy about this movie, highly recommending it. They went as far as to say that it is the only worthy sequel to the original Jurassic Park. I definitely want to see it now.

Very, very, very good movie.

Possible spoilers, though I don't think I'll say anything particularly plot related. Read at own risk.[/spoiler

Indominus Rex shouldn't have been classified as such. Tyrannisaurs are a group of dinosaurs including Tyrannasaurus Rex as well as other similar creatures. Indominus Rex is a tyrannisaur, it would have made more sense for it to be called Tyrannis Indominus- Indominus Rex takes the wrong part of a T-Rex's name.

Also, the raptors were named Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo. In certain situations where misinterpretation could be lethal (such as air traffic control), any time a letter needs to be pronounced, a different word is used in its place- You wouldn't say Aey Bee Cee Dee, you'd say Alpha Bravo Charlie Delta. I find it interesting that the raptors were named in this manner- Of course, Chris Pratt was the alpha, so they started from B, and because Blue had blue streaks, they used that instead of Bravo.

Just my ramblings. I really liked the movie. THEY CONVINCED DINOSAURS TO FIGHT EACH OTHER!

Eulaliaaa!

I just saw it today, and it was pretty good. I have the theme song stuck in my head now...
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

It does sound like they used some of the original soundtrack.

That was possibly the coolest movie this year. Maybe Avengers wins by a small margin.

Saw this one with my boyfriend a couple days ago. I thought it was awesome. Not what I'd call the "best" movie I've seen so far this year (that award goes to Mad Max: Fury Road), but it was still an incredibly enjoyable romp.

One thing that I particularly appreciated about this movie was the message about respect for animals that seems to be present throughout. Chris Pratt's character is constantly hammering home the fact that the dinosaurs are, you know, animals, with minds, emotions, and wants of their own. I'm all but certain that the entire plot of this movie might have been avoided if Indominus had actually been treated like a living creature while she was growing up. Instead, she was locked in that pen her whole life, with nothing to do but wait for her food to come and nothing to trust but the crane that brings it; of course she ended up emotionally-stunted and hateful.

There was some really stupid stuff in this movie too, of course, like

that little moment between Blue and the T-Rex at the end, after they beat Indominus. Yeeeaah... No.

But it's a movie about cloned, genetically engineered dinosaurs, so whatever. I still had a lot of fun.

I liked it. However undecided about whether I like it more than Lost World and JP III! (In the sense that I'm not a big fan of those sequels, but I don't dislike them.) All need re-watching in time. :)

Some of the dino moments were a bit cheesy. I laughed at one part which was meant to be sad because it was silly how they did it and the noises the dino made were funny. :P

Too much was left unexplained for me, so even without its big success at the box office, it's a definite for another sequel.
