Black Friday

Wow. Black Friday sounds evil.

Yep. Basically. Americans spend billions of dollars (yes, billions) every year on Black Friday. The amount of money spent is enough to supply the entire world with potable water. Where are America's priorities? Oh wait, I really don't need to ask...
I spent this Friday preparing my family's Thanksgiving meal (which was 95% local, yeah!). My Dad and brothers went to the Lion's (football) game yesterday, so we delayed Thanksgiving a day.

While nothing as crazy as this happened locally, it still is crowded to go out before 2pm on Black Friday.  Then after that all the night owls, grumpy from no sleep go home.  I help set up the holiday stuff around the home and if I shop at all, its only for cards and gift cards, no "big ticket" stuff which I don't need.
