How do I insert something like a video in my posts?

You need to use the youtube tags. For example, if I wanted to post this video of the Redwall TV series intro I'd copy the URL of the video and put in in youtube tags, like this:

[youtube]_2W_3uXqsfw[/youtube]

The result will look like this:

[Redwaller]

You don't need to use the code tags. Just make sure you have Youtube tags on either side of the link.

Also, I think it may be a good idea for you to move to the Cellars to practice posting Youtube videos in a topic like this one.

Directions for posting pictures on the forum or in Private Messages (PMs):

1.  Sign up for a free account with a web-based photo sharing service (e.g. http://www.fotki.com/us/, http://photobucket.com/, etc.)
2.  Upload your photo(s)/image(s) to your new account.
3.  Select the photo or image that you want to post.
4.  Copy the entire web address for that image.
5.  In your forum post or PM, insert the following line:
   
6.  Click on the Preview button, and your image should show up.
7. If it does, click "Post"!

Or you can use Tinypic if you don't want to sign up. That's what I do.
