At the meeting of the sunny glades,

Many warriors laid down their blades.

They have gathered as one,

Once their lives' journeys were done.

There they stood,

all warriors for the common good.

They were eyed, each one,

Their deeds outdone,

By the noble mouse named Martin.

There stood the most brave,

For here was their grave.

Too numerous to mention,

They all had nobel intentions.

Many more have came,

To add to their bright flame.

There stood Mattimeo, Matthias, and Martin,

Their lives many had heartened.

There were the badger lords,

Beside lay their swords,

Cregga, Russano, Gorath the Strong,

With the Patrol of the Long.

Tammello, Wonwill, and Rake,

Who had made the enemy quake.

There were those who call,

Eulalia and Redwall.

Squirrels of legend,

with noble intention.

Lady Amber, Rakkety Tam, Dogey Plumm,

Ranguvar and Triss, all great chums.

The grand warrior Luke,

whose tactics weren't a fluke.

There were more mighty mice,

Mariel, Dandin, and Gnoff,

Whose adventures came at a price.

Also Timballissto, and Rose,

Whom Martin would've chose,

If not for the stoat,

Her life he smote.

There were otters, strong and swift.

Leatho, Deyna, Shogg, and Tiria

Who to Green Isle, was a gift.

There were shrews, Log-a-logs bold,

and their traditions will uphold.

Lets not forget the trusty moles,

Axtel, Skurpul, and Dinny too,

Forever digging holes.

Grand Warriors all,

The heroes of Redwall,

Humbled with the coming of eternal rest,

For here are the blessed.

Now let me tell you of the vermin's fate,

Their lives full of evil and hate.

To the forest of shadows they fled,

Once they were dead.

Every mothers son,

The good they had shun.

Those evil, rats, ferrets, and stoats

Were the ones that missed the vote.

They were doomed to hunger

Always to become old, never younger.

Never to have a death to release.

Their fear never to cease.

Solitary, never to see a soul again.

To always search, ever in vain.

No food or drink, never to die.

This is where vermin lie.

Now that I have told you of this,

Hearken to me a little more.

Be a hero, be in bliss,

Fly, and soar.

Good is few and far between,

Yet evil is everywhere.

With the good, there is meaning,

Don't go with those vermin,

With their evil glare,

With the foxes and the ermine,

Be a hero ma'am and sir,

My work is done,

The poem is gone.

Remember this well,

So when the bell knells,

With the warriors you shall dwell.

Nice job dude! I take my hat off to you. How long did it take to write? I usually make up poems and rhymes randomly. Example.

Trees flow through,
The night sky blue,
A small breeze and gale,
A wanderer drinks ale.

He walks alone,
A jorney never-ending,
No communication or phone,
Only a sword for lending.

Nothing can stop,
His blade once he slashes,
But quiet he is,
Too many scars and gashes,

The dunes blow through,
The sea is too blue,
A small breeze and gale,
He rides a boat, but this time, he is not drinking ale.

I'd say (with editing included) about two or three hours straight, I can only concentrate on the things I love to do. And this happens to be one of them! :D
