I suddenly felt compelled to share some of my favorite songs from this year.  Now I'll be the first to admit that I am a music snob and I'm quick to dismiss a lot of music, especially the stuff that is typically played on the radio.  However, I love nearly all genres of music and if it makes me feel good I am probably going to like it.  Here some of my favorite tunes from this year.

To satisfy my southern rock appetite it gets no better than Paul Thorn's "Bull Mountain Bridge"

John Fullbright, my God, what can I say? A modern day Bob Dylan? This song is simply amazing.

Immortal Technique, a talented rapper who actually raps about significant, meaningful topics and not the garbage other rappers typically cover.

Keller Williams, one of my favorite guitar player/singers decided to dip his toes into the Bluegrass genre this year resulting in awesomeness.

It's not a 2012 song, but I love the song Somebody that I used to know by Gotye and Kimbra. It sounds like an 80's song and it was released in 2011.
"There's some good in this world, Mr.Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."-Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Yeah that was a really good tune, the music video was quite trippy as well.
