i was walking through the market in York today and i came across a second hand book stall and what jumped out at me but these books.........i started reading these nearly 20 years ago and just seeing the covers brought back memories that i had long forgotten ......sadly i no longer have the originals i once owned but ill be purchasing them again very son and im so sorry to hear that Brian has passed away ......... he started me on a cultural  journey that has never stopped and gave me the gift of middle earth and the likes.....with out him i may have missed out on these jewels. his books will be a gift to my children and i hope that they find the joy for his works that i had.
