Slecting a stone from the pouch at his side, Laele quickly had the sling wirling above his head and then losed of the stone. This shot was more of a range finder than anything and unfortunatly it fell a little short. The vole sghed a little and began reloading his sling while breaking into trot to cover the distance. The next stone he losed caught a lizard a glancing blow knocking him flat.

Providence jumped to a standing position, tugged something from his tunic and threw a black something hard and straight, dropping the front runner in a tumbling mess of confusion, "If'n ya' don't run now, yer all dead beasts! I'm not gonna be responsible fer any of ye! RUN!" With that, Providence bounded off to the right, seeking to go around the lizards.
