Monthly Announcements - February 2013

With a new year comes many new things. One of those things is a new feature we call Monthly Announcements. This is simply a way for the staff to recap the events of the past month so that everyone knows what changes and improvements have occurred on the forum. So let's kick it off, shall we.

Monthly Announcements
This new feature is still having some details worked out, but it should be released the first week of each month and be full of the new events and features of the forum. It will likely grow in the future to include other things, but for now, it's simply a way to catch up on forum happenings.

The Orchard
The Orchard is a new board, within Front Lawns, for showing off professionally produced work that you have been involved with. If you have written a book or had a painting displayed, talk to a staff member to see about getting a topic about it posted in The Orchard.

Popular Forum Games
This board is exactly what it says on the tin. The most popular games on the board go here, making it a convenient way to find the games that are played most often. Any active game over 50 pages or more goes on this board. This board also allows smaller games to be displayed on the first page of the main games board, meaning that they are more likely to be played. You can find this board from within the main forum games board.

New Fan Works Boards
We have two new boards within Fan Works dedicated to Fan Fiction and Fan Artwork. Please place stories and artwork on the relevant fan work board. If it is neither, place your topic on the main fan works board.

Recent Events
Some of you may be wondering where the Descent RP topic has disappeared to. We had some issues with forum rule #2 being followed, and it had to be pulled. If you were not aware of this issue, please respect those involved by not asking any questions; they will appreciate that.

Staff Availability and Vacations
-Lutra is very busy at the moment and will be taking a break for at least the next week. Please contact another staff member if you have a problem on a board he moderates.
