OOC: I'm pretty sure he's just given up on these Rp's....

OOC: I've not given up quite yet, I've just been uber busy. I've been trying to get enough time to squeak in a good post but as such, I'm not currently able to.

Obscura looked the groups over, "Now then, you'd best hope that you've made wise decisions in those that you've placed he trust of your very lives in, as some of you will certainly fall."

The mysterious figure deformed into a thick cloud of black mist that circled both teams twice before smashing through the lot of them. When the mist had cleared, no beast was left standing. The mist proceeded to dissipate, once again waiting until his presence was once again due.

Both teams have found themselves on the sandy banks of a seashore (but neither team sees the other, or can interact with anything in the other's world though their worlds are identical to an extent). Behind them is a lush forest, to their left is a dune ridden desert, and to their right is a mountain range. Most importantly, in front of them lies the open sea, only interrupted by the occasional monolith of stone. Strangely enough, there are two containers lying in the sand, one marked with a sword, the other with a shield.

Thanora blinked and looked up at the sky she could feel the hot sand against her back and the sun beating down on her. She sat up and looked around. Not two paces in front of her where two chests. She brushed the sand from her fur but all it did was scratch ruffly against her skin. Thanora picked up her spear and noticed that the others had disappeared. All the creatures that had been in the other circle where gone. She looked out to sea but all she could see was water, water and stone and sand. And the hot unbearable sun. She went over to the water and carefully touched it with a paw. It was cool and she let the serf wash wet sand over her footpaws. She relaxed for a moment and closed her eyes. Not moving from her spot she looked back over her shoulder and eyed the two chests but her curiosity was not strong enough to  make her move. Whatever was in there could wait a little longer till she had gathered up her nerve.  Even if it was something good the words of Obscura still rang in her head.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Xant lay in the sand, staring at the sky, there's wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the sun beat down on him. He didn't move though, just lay there. He turned his head, and saw Thanora over by the sea. The creatures who had been in the other circle had completely disappeared. Xant at that moment, was terrified. Simply terrified. He just couldn't cope with what was happening.

A ghostly voice traversed the breeze with a piercing, faint tone, "Almost forgot somethinnnggg." Between the two unopened chests, in both worlds, an imprint of an unspecific beast appeared in the sand.

OOC: Also, if you've posted, please don't post again until everybeast else has.

Jalie raised her head from the sand and looked around. She saw only Thanora, Bladepaw and Xant; everyone else had vanished. The young haremaid stood up and just as she did, she heard a ghostly voice drifting on the breeze. A mysterious imprint appeared between the two chests.

Whit's goin' tae happen noo? she wondered.

OOC: Just so everyone knows, Jalie's only weapons are a sling and a longsword. She didn't grab any of the blood-red ones.
