The time's come for some new member awards. In this set, we've expanded our parameters to include some prominent members from the forum's history. While they're no longer with us, we felt this would be a good way to honor them, their legacy and our forum's history. Some of these awards simply wouldn't be complete without some way to recognize their contributions. We haven't added everyone we would like to yet (unfortunately, the old forum being down and time have also hurt our memory of some of this), but we felt this list would be a good start in that direction. Given that a lot of these members haven't actually registered for the new forum, their names will be listed here in bold.

Abbey Recorder: Most of the current community probably still remembers Jasper. While he wasn't here for very long, he made a huge impact during the time he was present, quickly establishing himself as one of the brightest rising stars of our community.
@Mhera aka Bruiser also made a lot of great posts in her time. While she isn't with us right now, and may not be for the foreseeable future, this award recognizes her consistent contributions to the productive discussions in our community.

Abbey Cellarhog: HeadInAnotherGalaxy did more than perhaps any other individual to establish much of the culture of the modern-day Cellars, and given that, we felt that it was time that he received some form of recognition.
@Jukka the Sling and @Skarzs have both played a substantial role in adding to the Cellars' comedic discourse through pictures and snippets over the last few months.

Blue Paw Print: @Darkenmal is in the process of writing a terrific (if admittedly somewhat dark) work, and we felt it was time that he be recognized for his mastery.

Sorry to admit there's not as many art awards as we hoped for, but hopefully we'll remedy that next award cycle, which I hope will be very soon (as soon as the Staff have time to discuss some things). We already have some ideas for ways to acknowledge a group of users in the forum community who I feel have been overlooked so far.

In the meantime, I'd like to encourage our writers and artists who still have copies of work they published on the old forum to post it up here. Our memories aren't so good as they could be, and it's probable that those who invested a lot of work into the old forum haven't been acknowledged as much as they should have been because of the Crash.

Anyway, thanks to all for your great contributions to our community, and keep up the good work!
