So, how does this work?

It's pretty simple. Anyone here can make a topic proposing changes to the forum. The Staff's role in enforcing order is necessary for the well-being of the forum, so the implementation of those changes and the authority structure will remain in our hands, but it will be up to you to decide what we do.

Post a poll here in this forum about something that you would like done on the forum. After either an appropriate time has elapsed or twenty people have voted on it, the vote will be considered finished, and if the vote is in favor, we will get to work on bringing its decision to the forum.

You may create new forum rules, boards, changes to themes or features, or other details on how things are done. The only things that you may not do are as follows: You may not make proposals to enforce disciplinary procedures, as that responsibility belongs to the existing staff. (In other words, no votes on banning members or deleting posts) Also, there should be no subtractions from the existing forum rules (you may, however, introduce new ones).

We hope that these changes to introduce democracy to the forum will be successful and play a role in keeping you, the members, at the forefront of our community.
