Recently, Free To Play has been added to Lego Universe, so why don't you guys give it a try? http://universe.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx

I tried it, but it kept crashing on my brand new laptop, that I configured to play pretty much any other game perfectly, so I didn't get that far.

i'm not alowed to download stuff plus when i download stuff its always realy slow the game is like that game star wars the clone wars

The full download takes 5 hours, but there is a during play download that let's it download whilst playing. It requires a fast computer though.
UPDATE: Aaaaaaaah! They are going to get rid of LEGO Universe on January 31st!
