I don't buy Badrang as this cool and competent warrior people seem to think he is. He was nearly beaten to death by an underfed squirrel with a stick.

Depending, Gulo would be more like the guy to charge strait at him and Badrang would be the guy to step aside and stab him in the back

but that stab in the back probably wouldn't kill him, he'd just get more angry and kill Badrang even faster..
