Please post your thoughts on the World Cup here!
It matters not what you fight, but what you fight for.

I am quite neutral. Heh.

Soccer is boring. People should play baseball instead.

"'Tis the business of small minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."

"Integrity and firmness is all I can promise; these, be the voyage long or short, shall never forsake me although I may be deserted by all men."
-George Washington

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

Ashleg

No, I agree.

Of all the "main" sports, baseball is probably the most interesting, in my opinion.

Football over baseball any day, thanks! Though, in fairness, baseball is really not a thing here.

Not that I'm exactly a fan of 'footie', either. However, occasionally in the past I have watched the World Cup and other big competitions when England had at least the teeniest of chances of doing okay, as well as happening to be in a country where the team of said country is playing. That gives it some atmosphere.

Haven't watched the last few World Cups. Depending when it's on, maybe I will watch a few games this year? Is England even in it? ;D *takes a look*

Yes they are unless they boycott due to the poisoning of the Russian spy

Ireland is not in it neither is the US.

Are Italy, Poland, or Germany in it?

I didn't really follow the World Cup last time around. I figure I might this time, even though the US didn't qualify.

I'm retired from the forum

Soccer is boring, baseball is sometimes boring.
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.
