It's weird how DnD rules work. If you get a natural one, or otherwise fail an attack roll, You miss your target completely.

(To be perfectly clear, I don't play DnD, but my brother has, and we discuss it a bit.)

And Skarzs, you're intelligent. You would get a -2 on agility rolls though.

Mmm, if "cave troll" were to be an actual race in D&D (I'm sure there's a homebrew for it, but I'm not looking it up  )  It would probably be something like +4 to Con and Strength and -4 to Dex and Int or something like that.  +/-4 is a pretty big racial modifier, but cave trolls are pretty big themselves, so the modifier would have to match.

On a side note, I friggin' love D&D.  Just wish I had some folks to play with -_-
