No, it doesn't. As far as the Beastian side go, I don't even know how many there are. We have a large family and not all of us are reptiles either. Mary and Morgan are second cousins, I think.

In Eragon (the series, not the book), Saphira says at one point that she doesn't like eating sheep because the wool gets stuck in her teeth. Another time has a riddle that goes something like 'is every hue of the rainbow, can eat a thousand sheep in a row, always sleeps rolled up' (see if you can get the real answer), and Saphira answers with 'a dragon' (the wrong answer). And of course when Angela says that Eragon may as well have named his sword Sheepbiter, then he says that he alreday has one Sheepbiter (namely Saphira), so doesn't need another.
