It's okay. He was a grouchy old hermit anyway. But he was kileld by stupidity on my part.

At least Ferro is still alive. He's cute. I'll post a picture of him sometime.

Apparently, after a hermit crab molts, then they're supposed to eat their exoskeleton afterwards to gain more protein and calcium. I, being a complete idiot, took away the exoskeleton, believing that it would just stink up the cage and not be any further use. Talk about a horrible mistake! We realized the problem after Reggie passed away. Thankfully, we made sure to keep Ferro's exoskeleton in the cage, and to this day, he ate it, and is still alive and well.
