So fluffy.

It looks so nice to hug.
I've seen what happens to beasts who even touch it.

Come, I'm sure it's perfectly safe.
Silence, you fool!
It would never be so rude to me.
I said silence!
*slowly releases wall, as if in a trance*
Stop!
*moves closer to plushie*
No! *chains self to the wall and locks it with a combination padlock, then changes combination at random without looking*
But... fluffy.
*snarls* No. It will destroy you.

*Even as you do this, though, you know that you could easily tear through those chains if you wanted to, and as you feel the fluffy plushie call out to you, you are only too aware of the fact that you want to.  You know that if you just give in and embrace it, all your cares will fade away into its comfortable warmth.*

*shoots the plushie*

*Rolls a d20*  (You miss.)

*sees Kade walk near to otterbadger plushie and immediately snaps chains, diving for Kade's paws and knocking him from his feet before he touches the soft fluff* I'm not letting your soul get absorbed by that thing, brother. *chains Kade to the wall to stop him sleep-walking too close to the plushie and stands up, gaze immediately being drawn to the plushie. Thinks about how fluffy it looks and how warm it felt for the few seconds of contact. Steps closer, as if in a trance*

*Plays an off-key note (in other words, simply plays) on the cello to break the spell.*

Oh no you don't!!
*tackles @shisteer of nothing much to save her*

*Places handcuffs on plushie and kicks it into a basement cell.*

*is still asleep/unconscious from Lass' overpowered sleep dart*

*As Verdauga turns away from the basement cell, he hears the sound of metal clinking against the floor, and there, sitting in the chair once more, is the plushie.  The handcuffs that had been placed on it lay in broken pieces on the floor.*
