The only possibly questionable thing about him is the fact that he has a lot of guns, though I don't think there are any laws against that in Hectaville, nor laws against spying on other beasts, which he also does, come to think of it.

The first one can be explained by being American, as for the second... well, the guests do that all the time.

I know but the guests aren't allowed to post. Besides, is it legal to carry arms in Hectaville? Had Martin been American, he still wouldn't have got away scott free for carrying arms in Mossflower, so why should Hectaville be any different? Americanism isn't a legitimate excuse.
