it's my job to play the saxophone, and may i say what stingy pay you get for it too.

my saxophone is a conn 6m "naked lady" made in 1941. it was called the naked lady because it has an engraving of a naked lady on the bell. i've been meaning to take a picture of it and share it with the world. unfortunately the best thing i can share is a picture of me playing a gig earlier this summer;

it was the strangest thing today
i studied footprints in abandoned pathways
'neath forgotten undergrowth something stirring again
you were a single red blood cell and I lost you in this knot of capillaries
but you were bringing me oxygen when I needed it most in the smoke

Anybody play a musical instrument? I play bass guitar.
Problems in life are never resolved by distancing yourself from them. Escape is never the safest plan nor the safest place.

Gonff the Mousethief

I used to play trumpet. im trying to start back
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

The Shade

I'm attempting to learn the electric guitar, but it's slow going by yourself. I'm considering lessons.
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

Do you own a PS3 or an Xbox?

I sing. A lot. I think I'm decent at it, but I'm not trained in any sense of the word.

I play piano, flute, piccolo, and recorder (and not just fourth-grade stuff - I mean I was in a recorder ensemble in high school).  I don't own my own piccolo, so the only times I've played that after graduating high school have been for the town's labor day parade, when I play with students and alumni of the high school and borrow the school one.  I play flute sometimes at church (for example, Ash Wednesday and Christmas), and piano I just do at home for fun.  I'm currently half re-learning a song I'd known years ago and haven't played in a while:  "100 Years" by Five for Fighting.

No, why, guitar hero? :D

I play the Double Bass.   :D I love it!
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Cool, I play flute and piccolo :D

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Blazemane

I played flute from 6th-12th grade in band, but I haven't used it very much since then.

Also, we're made to learn piano in most college music programs, and I've actually found that I like it a lot, but I'm still at a pretty basic level.

321tumbler

I play piano, sing, and I'm trying to teach myself guitar.

Rainshadow

  I play clarinet in my Advanced Band, as well as electric bass guitar in Intermediate Band (I know, the music program I'm in has such original names.  :P) and somewhere from intermediate to advanced with the piano.  Oh, and I'm a second soprano in my choir.
If you're interested in my art or keeping in touch, I'm active on DeviantArt and Instagram!

I play the violin and a tiny bit of guitar. :)
